Spaits - Sounds like a long and uncomfortable labor, but now you have your beautiful little boy! I'm sure it was all worth it!
Amybeth - Sounds like it won't be too much longer for you! Relax and enjoy your last few days before you little one arrives. Cali girl - Congrats on Sydney's birth! She's cute! AFM - I had my OB appointment today. They did an NST and said both babies look good. They did not check to see if I am dilated, but I guess that's ok since it's not the most comfortable thing to had done. OB that is doing the c-section (who was the only one who would attempt vaginal) said that a c-section is probably the best way to deliver since Baby B is the larger baby and is transverse. So my c-section is still set for 4/27. I will have to go in and get bloodwork done two times prior to that. Other than that, I guess we are as ready as we can be. I need to get a few things done around the house before I deliver...need to clean our bathroom and pick up a little bit. I feel so lazy now that I'm only working half days...but then I just am too worn out anymore to do much of anything. I guess I should just not feel guilty and take this last week or so to relax and have time for myself as soon I will have no time to do anything except take care of my two little ones. I think I'm going to be the last one to deliver...

Mette and Scarlet - your babies are so cute. Congratulations again.
Valerie had her 4 week checkup today and the Dr confirmed she has colic. I also mentioned to her that Valerie has not had a bowel movement in several days and her response was that it is normal and something about a baby needing all of it's food during growth spurts. We are definitely going to a gastro doctor for a 2nd opinion. Good Luck to all the ladies in waiting.

Another freak-out moment... TMI too...
I had a little more bloody mucus tonight, but only on the TP... If I was going to be delivering vaginally, this would be really exciting for me. But since I have to have a c-section and my OBs keep stressing the importance of not letting me get to full blown labor because my uterus can rupture, this is freaking me out. The little guy just needs to hang in there for 4 1/2 more days. I just hope that by me stressing out like this, it's not making it worse for the little one! I'm sure it's not helping but hopefully it's not really hurting him!

I know that some OBs don't want to hear anything until you are contracting regularly but, maybe considering the circumstances they would want to know that you are showing signs of labor. Let them know that you are feeling anxious. Hope little guy stays put for a few more days.

Got a text from Amy (Amybeth) she went into labor at 2:30 am. She started bleeding at 3:30 am.
William (Billy) was born just after 7 am via c-section weighing 7 lbs 15 oz. 21 inches long. Mom states that he is just perfect and that both mom and baby are doing great!  Billy!!!

Scarlet- Glad to hear that you and Sydney are home. Hope that recovery is going well for you. Sydney is absolutely beautiful! Congrats!
Sue- Colic is so hard to deal with. I spent many nights in the bathroom running hot water for my oldest son. A couple of days without a ** is common in babies. Their systems have a tendency to really break down their food when they need it. Some babies, especially breastfeed can go a full two weeks without a **. Is she showing signs of discomfort? That's when I would worry. It's probably hard to tell with the colic though. They tend to be fussy until they get over it. Good luck! Mette- Felix is adorable and shares a birthday with Blaine!

one flickering heartbeat - so sweet! 8/14/08 Beta just over 13,000 progesturone dropped a bit but still in the 160's u/s 8/21 one baby confirmed 9/4 first ob/gyn appointment everything looks good! 9/25 last day for this icky prometrium! 10/21 amnio due to wonky nt results 10/22 amnio (fish results) came back, all is well!! It's a boy!! 10/24 regular appointment 11/20 level 2 ultrasound confirmed gestastional diabetes 1/22 going twice a week for check ups bedrest since week 32 in and out of the hospital since week 32 early labor week 36, c-section Tyler 5lbs 8oz
