My turn for the third and final beta test today, but we won't have results until tomorrow.

No one ever told me there was an unofficial "2nd 2ww"! I've been on pins and needles since finding out the initial BFP... now I worry about numbers and I'm ticking down the days until I get an ultrasound. Yikes!

There are TOO many 2ww in this whole process, I assure you! LOL

I went for another beta today. I get the results on Thursday. I just keep praying, Please God let this be the one. I don't think I can go through another loss and come out the other side ready to try again.

You know, this is going to be so much easier when we're a few months farther along. At least that's what I keep telling myself. HA!

Well ladies, I have been scared to post on this thread but I am going to quit being such a worry wart and get in line with the power of positive thinking!

Had a bleeding scare this weekend but my BETA today was good so I am so thankful. Will have an ultrasound next Thursday to count and hopefully see the heartbeat. Can't wait!

Barbara -- Go us!! It's nice to meet someone else here with a much older child. My oldest will be (gulp!) 26 in the end of September... and you're right: It seems like yesterday that they were squirmy little bundles wrapped in a blanket.

And for all you little whippersnappers on this thread who are techinically young enough to be my child, let me tell you right up front that you will probably NEVER feel too old to be a new mom, and if that's how you feel... don't let a "number" stop you from going after your heart's desires. (I still only feel about 25 years old most days)

Russelle -- It's good to see you HERE! I've been following your thread in the IVF section. Yes, positive thinking definitely, and a step of faith... Which rightly says you belong here. Prayers for everything to go well for you from here on out.

Hi guys! I had my bean count today. We got to see one little bean with a healthy heartbeat! I am so happy. I am really going to try to relax a little now. I keep looking at my picture! I go in for another ultrasound on the 26th, then I'm released to my OB! I'm actually going to call and set up my appointment with my OB tomorrow!

Russel, I'm so glad to see that things are ok! Welcome to this side!

Barbara -- I definitely hear that! I remember the first time an RE said my FSH was too high, (read: menopause), and I thought, "Are you kidding me? Do you have any idea what sort of life I have? I could run circles around most 20 year olds, I'm active, I have a young heart... What's this AMA stuff you're talking about?"

Angela -- Congratulations on your baby bean! I can't wait to be released to an ordinary OB.

Okay, ladies, question of the day: When the time comes that you can actually find out the sex of your babies... Will you find out, or do you prefer to not know? Pros and cons and your personal reasons, please. (We will call this the "Question of the Day" portion of our regularly scheduled program).
