Thanks for the great information on the pack and play.

I have a question for those of you that have already given birth or getting close to it. Were you put on bedrest at a certain point and if so when? I'm pretty early in pregnancy and I'm just trying to think ahead and prepare for what is to come!

I was never put on any kind of bedrest, I was induced at 38 weeks due to preeclampsia, even thou the doctor thought for sure I would end up on bedrest.
(I started to have contractions at 22 weeks so I would have to take medication to stop them) You just never know what will happen so stay positive and keep praying.

Hi ladies,

I was put on bed rest at around 8 weeks for some spotting. I stayed on until about the 12 week mark which is when my RE said the danger of m/c drops some. After that I had a pretty normal pregnancy until I hit 32 weeks. I had some bleeding and went into L&D, I ended up being admitted as I was dilating and they didn't know how fast I'd go. I was there for 4 days when my babies decided it was time. I would have stayed on hospital bed rest until they were born I guess. So my advice, any bleeding or spotting, call your doctor.

Good luck ladies, it is wonderful and exhusting all at once.

Hugs,

Hi all, I unexpectedly joined your ranks yesterday when Baby B turned out to just be playing possum. I'm attempting to get my head around it! (DH is having a lot of trouble adjusting but I posted about that elsewhere.) I didn't want multiples because I wanted to be able to focus my attention completely on one baby, but I guess I'm being taught early on that I have little control over what my babies do.

I am so glad irena that you posted here. I hope that thre is lots of advice. But from my client who has spontaneous twins, "just love the time you get now and live it one day at a time" Ok cheezy, but i think she meant to savor them b/c hers are 7 and growing so much.

Nurse,Hopeless, Docshoney,Heather- Thank you all for the info and recommendations about pack and plays and space saver high chairs. It's nice to have people to turn to for advice on the twin experience

Passionscientist congratulations on the identicals
Irena- I know twins are a shock for you, but just give yourself sometime. It is a bit overwhelming, but it will all be worth it.
