You're welcome!! I think sometimes we all get a lil absorbed in our own stuff (I feel like I have been since all of this craziness started 3 weeks ago)....but we all also support eachother too....sometimes it just helps to vent and know someone somewhere will be there for you to sound off to...and that is always ok here ...it's normal to complain....pregnancy does all sorts of crazy things to our bodies...we all have earned that right...and it does not change how much we value our pregnancy or the fact that we all know how blessed we are...God knows we all appreciate the special gifts we have been given!!!

I just want to wish you all the best when your lil ones arrive!!! I that everything will work out for your son!! He is in my prayers (as are many others at this point)....I think you are already a great Mommy for doing what you have done!!

Bunnis wife--You're almost there. Your down to counting days before the twins come. We are still counting weeks/months and the unknown. I think we all have the same aches and pains. It's oK to vent here and it will be over with soon. I too am trying to remember this is my last pregnancy even though I obsess over every thing all day long. I feel like sometimes I need to say something positive and not complain about my back etc.. to DH when he gets home from work. I am reading the book "Juggling Twins" and it has some great advice with a sense of humor. The author had one previous child like us and then twins. I try to point out some of the humor to DH but when I 'm done reading it I'm passing it along to him to read in his spare time.lol. We are still stuck trying to figure out a middle name for one of the girls so I am trying to talk about that once per day just to force myself just talking about all my preg symptoms. Also, remember you'll be sweating and peeing like crazy after these babies are born so you'll start seeing some relief from the swelling days after delivery.


Jessica--We are being blessed with meals coming 2x per week starting next week by our neighbors. I am glad so DH can get a little break. I am anxious to go to the OB on Tues--glucose test, anemia test,growth scan and regular visit. Plus I'll be able to get out of the house. MyOB visits are now going to be the light of my life.


I just ordered some undies online last night since I have gone up 4 sizes in regular underwear. Everything is so tight now I can't stand it. I HOPE they fit..

Emilysmom- Good Luck with the undies!! I thankfully had just bought some new ones right before bedrest...lol...you are very lucky to have your neighbors bring meals 2x a week!! That is so very nice of them all!! I am sure your DH will appreciate that!!

I also look forward to my OB and MFM appts...I have one on 11/13 with MFM and then one on 11/17 with my OB and I am looking forward to both of them...lol....crazy right??

It's another rainy, crappy day here...yuck!! The leaves are falling off my trees so fast they will be bare in no time...that means winter is coming and the cold weather is on it's way....yuck!!

Jessica - I know what you mean about the weather and winter coming...It's always a little depressing for me. I feel like it's dark when I wake up in the morning and then dark when I drive home from work in the afternoon. Of course, winter is a great time to relax on the couch and watch tv!

Hello ladies, thank you so much for your and encouragement for my babies to grow. Well I had my last shower today, it was kind of sad to know that this is my last one but then again it's exciting b/c my babies will be here before I know it . Anyway, I hope everyone is having a great weekend .

Bunniswife you must be so excited to know that your babies are almost here!! and you get rid of all the heartburn and wonderful stuff that goes with pregnancy . I understand about being nervous too . Just hang in their it will be over before you know it. In the mean time take care of yourself!!

Jessica you are so right I am so glad that I am not on strict bedrest I think I would go crazy lol. But I bet before it is over I will be on strict bedrest, and I am soooooooooooo not looking foward to that.

I am expecting twins and just completed catching up on your thread, which I must say has been a good read. I just realized there was a Twin Mommies & Daddies last week and I was so excited. I am almost 26 wks and see my MFM weekly since October when we found that our little boy is 2 wks behind in growth. We went through all the tests and they came back negative, which was a huge relief. We found he has low amiotic fluid and a kinked cord due to placement in the placenta. Now he is monitored weekly and we have been seeing an increase in fluid, however my Dr is still "cautiously optimistic." I am curentely seeing my acupuncturist 2x a week and I feel good, but adjusting to my growth as I am only
5 ft and the belly is getting BIG. Our next milestone is 28 wks and then we will see what is next for our little ones.

My DH has insisted that I go on maternity leave for the sake of the babies and enjoy the remainder of my pregnancy. I have finally conceeded and the 21st will be my last day. I am actaully looking forward to it. This entire pregnancy has been so surreal since we have been trying for a family for over 5 yrs with many disapointments. So now that reality has set in we are trying to get our nursery in order before the end of the month. This is my story and I look forward to participating with you all and you on towards the delivery of your twins!

Is anyone else feeling very hormonal lately? I just have not been feeling like myself for a little while now and I'm assuming it's the pregnancy hormones. I go to work, come home and make dinner, then sit on the couch until I fall asleep by like 9:00 pm or so. I am so tired of sitting around, but then I just don't feel like doing anything. The other day I wanted to make some apple crisp for dinner...I swear I had bought oatmeal but couldn't find it anywhere. I was almost in tears because I didn't have oatmeal to make the apple crisp. What's up with this??? Also, I feel like I'm getting fat and gaining weight but I just don't think I look pregnant...everyone else is talking about how their belly's are popping out and I just don't think mine is. Ok...done venting now! I hope this is just the hormones!!!
