Hello ladies. Let me provide the updated list. I'll try and keep up; however, we may do better if everyone copies and updates so we make sure we have everything.

I have been really tired and a bit evil (lol). I'm excited though because my scheduled 1st Beta should be pretty high since it was 94 and 4 days early. It's gotta be more than 1, but I'm still gonna remain calm until we find out for sure. Hope everyone is having a nice weekend.

Hi ladies, firstly congratulations on your BFP's.

I've benn follwoing this thread but i'm scared to join in. The due date calculator shows May 16 for EDD. This whole BFP is so surreal to as up until now i don't have any pregancy s/m. I've been scarrying by reasearching on the web and was stressed. I decided to go for another Beta test on Monday morning to ease my frustrations. It still doesn't make it better but at least I'll be feeling differently by Tuesday. I thought 2ww was the worst wait ever but this is much more, the thing is now you know you're pregnant but it still has to be confirmed.

I guess it helps to chart with other on the same boat & will be cheering up for those whose 1st u/s are close by. Mine is on the 19/09 .

My first beta was on 11dp5ft at 1273 and the 2nd on 13dp5dft was in the 3000's. I need to estimate where it would be on Monday. I that everything is going well.

All the best to all you.

Livebait - I have not gotten my thyroid checked since I've gotten my BFP. I'm glad you asked though because I do have a call in to my family doctor to see when I need to get it checked. I guess my RE is not going to follow my thyroid issue so I will have to do it through my Family doctor or OB.

Ballerinagirl - Holy Cow! I think that is the highest beta I've ever seen! Congrats...definitely must be several little babies in there!

Journey - Thanks for making the list.

Chima - I understand what you mean about being scared to join the due date thread. I feel the same way...like I don't want to jinx myself by joining. I really don't have many symptoms myself. Just sore boobs, some crampiness (but this has pretty much gone away), and today I think the fatigue may be starting to hit me. It's just hard to believe after all this time, I am finally pregnant. I guess it takes a while to sink in. There are so many things out there that are scary if you do research...I swear, I feel like I can't eat anything because it's harmful to the baby!

As for me, not much else new hear. I've been trying to read some pregnany books to learn about what's going on inside my body. I read part of "What to Expect While You're Expecting" and "The Pregnancy Bible." My first ultrasound is this Thursday.

Thanks ladybug, this can be stressful, it's like i'm in the 2nd 2ww. I'm so scared to be excited but i went to do another beta test today and I'm that it is still rising. I might as well do another one on Wed, i think this will be the only way to keep my self sane.

I'm impatient by nature and sometime like to think the worst just to prepare myself in case it happens.

All the best on your 1st u/s this Thursday. I wish i could have mine sooner but ER does it on week 6 or 7.

Hi Ladybug,

I'd definitely recommend that you get your thyroid levels checked. I am 5 weeks pregnant and based on my 2nd BETA blood draw I was already in the hypothyroid state. They had to increase my meds. I started getting tired last week. I am not sure if it is pregnancy fatigue or because of my thyroid or both. My endicrinologist wants me to have my blood drawn every 3 weeks during the 1st trimester to make sure my levels stay in check. I guess the 1st trimester is the most critical. I didn't realize this, but he said the HCG hormone is what is causing havoc with the TSH.

Congratulations Chima!! You have strong BETA #s. I think all of us can empathize with your nervousness.

Looking forward to hearing about everyone's U/S results for this week. How exciting!!!

Heather

Good luck with your betas today ladies!

Mel, I'm EXTREMELY bloated. I look at least 4 or 5 months pregnant already! I'm thinking maybe it's the progesterone causing this bloat.

I mean I had noticed myself but my MIL told me yesterday that I was looking extra pudgy in the mid-section. YIKES!!! Anyway, yes def bloating... I bought that book What to Expect when you're Expecting and it did say something about the hormones causing bloating and that it's not the uterus or baby at this point of course. But I was curious if I was the only one noticing this.

You have an u/s tomorrow!! GL!!! can't wait to hear about it.

I have felt bloated the entire time I have been in the fertility treatment. It seems like it has never gone away. Uggh! I never had a 6 pack, but I'd like my relatively flat stomach back.

My doc told me that the Progestrone is what causes the bloating.. so about the time you start showing the bloating goes away

Heart DeAnne and Shirley Good Luck Today

Hope you have high beta, they say its not the number as long as it rises appropriately. I do feel bloated as well but only after I eat something. I am trying so hard to keep this nausea at bay but its hard. When the kids come home from school I fall apart. I think I need to eat every 2 hours but I'm not really that hungry and have never really been a snacker. I like to munch at night but by than I'm miserably tired. I will try to find what works and stick with it. I woke at 6am and made toast with peanut butter and that held me away from losing it. I don't want to jinx myself either its taken a long time to get here. Gosh I hope to see just one or two beans this week.

Have any of you told anyone yet? I told my best friend and husband of course and thats it.
