Sorry I have not posted lately but I do read just about everyday Glad to see that everyone is getting along and figuring out how exactly this whole parenting thing works.

As for the reflux meds, they are a Godsend to us. Knock on wood, Garrett is almost 3 weeks now without any apnec spells....no turning blue for little man!! I find he is spitting up more and that makes me happy as I know he is not choking on it...whew. Oh, the pediatritian told us that reflux reaches its peak at 4 months so hang in there ladies, we are halfway there!! (Or at least almost). Oh, Garrett also sleeps at a 30 degree angle and we hold him upright for for 30 min after feedings.

How do you know how much fenugreek to take? I want to go buy some. I am getting enough milk to feed Garrett but I would like to be getting extra for freezing. I am kinda in competition with myself to see how much extra I get a day!!

Garrett is still swaddled although its not as tight as we used to do it...he likes to kick his legs and move his arms so we don't restrict him too much.

Well, we have a doctors appt. to get to...anxious to see how much my little Pork Chop weighs!!

So happy to hear that the meds are working for him. Turning blue would just freak me out.

I am in the same boat...trying to stock up on some milk so that someone else...anyone else...lol...can feed her and I can go out...or just sleep once in a while. My friend brought me some Mother's Milk tea...it has fenugreek in it...and she said it helped her and I should see more milk production in 2-3 days. I just started it yesterday so I will let you know. It does not taste too bad either. I am not sure how much to take of the pill form.

What time do you pump? Do you pump after a feeding?

I have been pumping around 7am when Olivia sleeps later, and I usually get about 3 oz wich is just one feeding that DH gives her at night time. Now I need to figure out another time to pump to freeze and get a supply going. I am just not sure when to do it, as I don't want to pump out her next meal.

Who the heck ever said BF'ing was easy? It sure is complicated to me!

Hi girls!!

I am soooo sorry it has taken me soooo long to post! I have not gotten a chance to catch up on everybody, but just wanted to let you know that we are great! We had a daughter, Lilia Shirazeh finally on 7/17. She will be 8 weeks old this Friday! I am finally feeling 100%! I won't bore you with the details, but we ended up having to have a c-section, and I am currently recovering from mastitis! Finishing up my second round of antibiotics and haven't had a fever in almost a week!

I just wanted to let you all know, I have thought about each and everyone of you every day and pray for all of you. I will go back when I get a few and check the boards to catch up on all your lives. It is wonderful to read and to catch up on your lives via facebook, too. I am a horrible poster, and I am horrible with updating facebook, but sure enjoy catching up with everyone else. It is so hard to read the forum on my i phone, wish they had an app for it, so I finally have a laptop in my lap and not a baby I will try to catch up this week.

Love to all!!

Faith (Laila) and Lilia, we are also known as L^3, we are a family of L's...Lewis, Laila, and Lilia and our last name is also an L
