Hey ladies I wanted to join you. I am a little bit early I have my second beta tomorrow morning and I can't handle waiting. If I could do it myself I would. So how is everyone doing today? So far I haven't had any symptoms really, just tired and a little nauseous in the afternoons. What about you guys?

I agree...waiting for the second beta was giving me such anxiety!!! I could not wait for them to call. The 3rd one was easier. I wasn't as nervous...but still curious.

Daria: Nice to see you here! I am not feeling anything besides being REALLY tired. I sleep alot...any chance I can get! I am surprised that my BBS don't hurt yet. I always thought that was one of the most common symptoms.

Im so glad to have more ladies joining !! Now the wait for the first ultrasound is going to be stressful ... Hopefully after that we can really relax and enjoy the pregnancy !!!

Congrats on the recent ! I just had to say, I noticed your Beta and progesterone levels. I would say expect more than 1. My progesterone was in the 200's and before my u/s they were concerned that their might be triplets. We are having twins, but just a heads up!

The nurse called and my beta was well over 1,000. I dont remember the exact number because I was like wow and then she hit me with a high risk ultrasound. I was like huh? She said since my numbers went up so fast it could be in my tube but they want to rule that out so I have to go in on Thursday (the wait is already killing me) to see if it is in my uterus. let it be good news. I have already had my cry, I just hope everything is ok. Has anyone else had this experience or heard of something like it. I am assuming they are giving me worse case scenario. She said if I have severe pain or bleed between now and then then to go to the ER. She has really scared the you know what out of me, but I am trying really hard to think positive. let everything be OK.

Kelli - I wasn't going to say anything, but now that it has been brought up, I was wondering if there might be more than one in there. Now another 2ww for our ultrasounds. The worrying never ends, does it?

Jen - I pray that everything goes ok for you on Thursday. I would be scared out of my mind as well. Is there any way they could get you in there earlier?

Noonoo - they said that was their only appointment. I am not very happy about it at all.

I thought the chances of twins would be very slim since I did an unmedicated IUI. On my first beta my RE was concerned that my progesterone was a bit low. It was 14.7 and he likes to see anything over 15. So he put me on Endometrin progesterone inserts three times a day. Well..they are definitely working. I think that might be why my prog numbers are so high.

Jen: The worries never end! I am so sorry that you have to wait until Thursday. I hate when they drop something on you like that and then expect you to relax until then. I pray that everything goes well and will be thinking about you. Maybe you should just take things easy for the next few days.

Hello ladies I'm here to join you. Hello Missnoonoo glad to see you here I hope the rest of the girls in the other thread get to join us as well.

I'm a bit worried reading your posts here bc I only had 1 Beta I was 3 weeks at the time, and I was sent to the OB right after that and I see you've had a couple. Yesterday was the first apointment and they just did a urine pregnancy test as a first pregnancy apointment routine, they also did a full fisical and a pap smear, but no mention of another beta. My number at 3 weeks was 49, should I be worried about the number and the fact that they only did the one beta? I have another appointment in 2 weeks or a w/s and blood works I think I'll ask my OB about that....

49 sounds like a good number at 3 weeks .. I would have your curiousity as well. I guess if you think about it though, when you concieve naturally - You only have one pregnancy test .. So they must be treating you that way

Jen - I know its going to be hard, but try your best to take it easy until Thursday. Is the appointment early in the day at least?

Yolyvette - glad to see you hear as well. I have no clue as to why they didn't have you go in for a second beta. All doctors do things differently, so yours might have a reason for sending you to an OB right away.

For you other ladies who have your u/s scheduled, is it with your RE or with an OB? Mine is with my RE. My orginal appt was going to be Monday the 22nd, but my RE was going to be out of town for Christmas, so they moved me up to the 19th. I'm glad they did because I don't know if I could have made it through that weekend.

By the way, does anyone know when morning sickness kicks in? I've been feeling sick to my stomach since Thanksgiving day and have been running to the bathroom a lot. It only happens in the afternoon to early evening. Being a little over 4 weeks, I didn't think morning sickness started so soon. I've also been super tired as well. I've been going to bed earlier than normal the past two nights.

The book's say MS typically kick's in around 5 to 8 week's - Im sure it can start whenever.

My first US is with the RE on the 16th - if everything checks out well, then I get to be released to a regular OB.

Thnx so much Kell that makes me feel better, I dont feel anything that makes me think there anything wrong but i was just curious of why you are having up to 3 betas and i only got one lol


I'll just wait or my first ultrasound in 2 weeks, and to be frank I was expecting one yesterday but the doctor told me about the posibility that at 5 weeks is hard to find the baby in there so he didnt want me to freak out if we couldn see anything, so we have to wait till week 7.
