Is it snowing where anyone else is ? Im in Iowa and we are expected to get 3 - 5 inches .... So far we have about 2 on the ground. I love snow - I just hate driving in it !!!

Klayton was born at 4:35 pm, 6.1 lbs, 19" Carter was born at 4:36pm, 4.9lbs, 17" Both healthy as can be !!  EDD 08/04/09

Jen: How are you doing today? I hope you are well.
Daria: Can't wait to hear your results. I hope you don't have to wait much longer. I don't have an u/s schuduled yet. I got in for a 4th beta on Monday and then I see my RE on Wednesday. The paper that he gave me when I left had Obstetical sonogram checked, not ultrasound. Does anyone know the difference? Just wondering...

An ultrasound and sonogram are the exact same thing - Sonogram's are what they used to call ultrasound ... just a more outdated term I guess

Hi!! Can I join?? I recognize a few of your names from the Nov. IUI board.
I was wondering at what week most of you were having your u/s ? My Re released me after 2 beta's but OB won't see me until 8 weeks! that is 3.5 weeks away, I am going to go crazy! Does this seem right? My betas also seem really high to me, so i am so curious if their could be more than one!! Congrats to everyone!!

Hi Lauren - Welcome! So glad to see you here with us. I wonder if there are more than one in there for you as well. I have an u/s with my RE on the 19th so that would be week 7 for me and if everything is ok, they will release me to my OB.
Roni - do you know why your RE is having you go in for so many betas? I guess thats another thing that each RE does differently.

Lauren, Congrat's on your BFP !!!
 The wait for the US is horrible ! .. Mine isnt for another 2 week's. Our RE releases us after two beta's and an ultrasound. That does seem strange they would release you before an u/s ! We'll just have to do a lot of talking about the weather and other thing's to keep our mind busy until then !!

Thanks for the welcom Kelli and msnoonoo!! yeah, I think most re's do an u/s before releasing you, but my re says they don't do that for natural and clomid IUI's.
Yes we are definitely going to have distract each other, bc the wait is going to be SO hard!!

They gave me my EDD as 08/04/09 ... Does that change after an ultrasound ?
& you should do a bean check date as we have a lot of high beta's going on

NooNoo: I have no idea why my RE is having me do 4 betas. That seems like alot right? I just do what i'm told! If next Wednesday is a sonogram do you think that is too early to see a heartbeat? I am confused.

omg so they just finally called me and it is 180 so I more than doubled. thank god. My husband and I are soo Happy. Now I have my first ultra sound on the 17th. I feel so much better now. and my due date is 8/8/2008.
