 Congrats Krista on joining team pink!!!!! Well at 13w2d last night I had a spotting scare. It was not a lot just a pink streak on the tp and then dots of red after that but I was completly freaked out. I called the RE on call since they told me to call if I have any concerns before I get in with OB. He told me to come in this morning for an u/s. I had already checked the heartbeat with doppler (didn't tell RE though) and it was strong but still wanted to go in to be sure. Well about an hour after the spotting I passed a big stone not just a partical. Holy cow!!!! I could not believe my eyes. So this morning on u/s everything was fine so we suspect the spotting was due to the stone. My only concern with baby (we got the cutest profile with a button nose that I am going to take credit for  ) was that Wednesday herm was measuring 13w4d (I was 12w6d) and today 4 days later herm was measuring 13w6d (2 days of growth). This Re who was not my regular said at this point their growth is not linear and a certain amount each day but that they grow in spurts like other children. I am still measuring 3 days ahead from my original due date so I hope that means everything is okay. I hope the OB does a scan Wednesday if not I am going to ask for one. Sorry girls dont mean to focus so much on my worries. I am trying. Has anyone bought anything for baby yet? I am on my way to get more maternity clothes. Happy Sunday!!!!!

The OB said that the cervix can be very fragile, and if you push hard with a ** or anything is can cause you to bleed. She wasn't too concerned unless is gets really heavy for a prolonged amount of time. Its always good to get it checked out though. My little one was also measuring ahead of schedule by 2 days this weekend. I was 13w5d and she was measuring 14w. I can't imagine how much it must hurt to pass a kidney stone...you are a strong woman. Hope you don't have anymore to deal with.

I had a fun filled day for my first day of spring break! I had to go in for a coposcopy because some of my cells came back abnormal from my 8 week pap. The cells haven't changed, which is good. After the baby I have to go every 6 months for a Pap test. Got to hear the heart beat....145. Then I had to go in to get a "suspicious" mole removed from my butt! I have 6 stiches.

KT- I hope you are not too sore from the procedures. I am glad the cells have not changed since last time.
Anyone else still using the doppler? Again just when I got used to finding the heartbeat in a certain spot it changes. With a full bladder I could find it right away and would listen for about 10 seconds and be done. Well now even with a full bladder it is difficult to find and once I find it I cant hold it in place. It is like the little booger is swimming away from me, lol. Did anyone else have this happen? I completly cleaned out my closet and dresser today. I got rid of pre-pregnancy clothes I have not worn in years. Switched the clothes I dont fit into now but hope to next year in the spare closet and put the winter clothes in the spare closet. Dh and I went to an old navy with a maternity section yesterday. It was such a dissapointment. We drove 45 minutes out of the way and they had one maternity wall. And there was this lady with a perfect basket ball belly and I am standing there with my "looks like a beer gut" belly. I really want my big baby belly!!!!! I always feel so intimidated shopping in maternity stores or babies r us with all the really pregnant ladies. Anyay I shopped online todya instead. So I ordered a bunch of stuff from their website today so I will just have to try it when it comes. I really should clean our bathroom but I am thinking of skipping out and buying new tennis shoes and a purse. How is everyone today? I have to fill out a birth plan for my first OB appointment Weds. Anyone else do this yet? Can you share what you are planning on doing? Dh and i are currently looking into the Bradley Method.

Hey ladies!! Just thought I would update with my info...we had our appt today 15w3d. Everything went well, we were able to listan to the heartbeat, which was in the 150's. We scheduled our anatomy scan for April 20th. I was a little dissapointed as I was told at my last appt it would be at 18 weeks, and now I have to wait until 20, but I guess the waiting will be worth it....grrr....lol. So April 20th it is! I was scolded for losing weight again. Im down 4 pounds from my last appt. I am trying to do everything I can to gain weight, but its not happening. Im worrying that my baby isnt getting everything that it needs. I dont know what to do. The doc scolded me, but also said he wasnt to concerned that its about a pound a week, but would like to see that turn around by my next appt. I dont know what to do!

However I did gain back all the weight I lost from the MS. So my ob was satisfied with that. Needless to say I did mention to him my concern of how much weight I should gain during the pregnancy. Even with me being "fluffy" (20 pounds over weight) he still suggested I gain 25-30lbs. And because I was getting weekly scans the baby was growing on track so he had no concerns. When you can eat just be sure to eat foods that are healthy. Besides being preggers only requires us to add 300 more calories to our diet a day. When you think about that's not much. 1 string cheese, an apple, and a yougart.

pray for me
Hi ladies,
Well, as you know I have been complaining about these headaches forever. Well, last week I noticed that when my head hurts I generally don't feel well. Something was telling this is not normal. As a medical manager I had one of my nurses check my blood pressure and it was higher than it has ever been. So I called the OB. He asked me a few questions and stated that I was "low risk" and that my BP's was moderately elavated, but for me to keep a daily log of my BP's. Well, to my surprise it has continued to rise! So today I was told to have my labs drawn and to do a 24 hour urine! I'm terrified! I'll know the blood results tomorrow but the urine wont be back until Wed. Just when I thought nothing else could go wrong now this. Please keep my little bean in your prayers. I just don't know what I'll do if I'm diagnosised with pregnancy induced hypertension this early in the game.

Mysis- you will definitely be in my prayers. I think I read on another thread where a lady had to take bp meds during her pregnancy. You have an awesome doc and I am sure he/she is going to get this under control so that your bean continues to stay healthy. Please let us know the results when you get them.

Hello Ladies
Well, I go in tomorrow for my NT Scan and I am both excited and a little sad. My DH is going to be out of town so I will not get to share the u/s with him and I will get the results supposedly right after the scan. The positive side is I will not be going alone my Mom will get to share the experience with me and this is her first grandchild so she is thrilled. I just wish my DH could be there with me...
We are not planning on finding out the gender of the baby. So, you can update me with SURPRISE for the gender. Jo~ My doctor never talks about my weight. I started out over weight so I was told by my RE 20-25lbs and I have gained 5 lbs since December 25th (the day I started my stims meds) I am 13 weeks today. I do feel like I am showing but only when I am naked.. LOL otherwise I just look chubby. I think my weight is shifting and that works for me.. Mia~ I have a doppler but I don't use it every day. It is funny because I find the heart beat right away every time and it is always the same place. My OB said that is not possible because the baby moves all the time. I just think the baby sleeps in a certain spot because I do it in the evening at the same time and I always find the heartbeat. I did the cleaning of the closet last week and made room for materniy clothes and it was so nice not to have to look at all the clothes I will not be able to fit in for a while.. LOL.. I agree it is funny shopping next to women with big round baby bumps and I just feel flabby.. I want that shirt that says "Does this Baby make me look FAT?" I went for my first OB appointment and I was not asked about a birthing plan yet. I do have to go to a Perinatal Center for genetic counseling and I think they will talk about birthing plans at one of my weekly appointments. My DH has been out of town practically since we found out we were pregnant so we have not really had the opportunity to talk about it. KT09~ Sorry to hear about you butt  .. That must not be very comfortable. Are they going to test it to make sure everything is okay?

mysislogic....I will be thinking of you today. I'm sure everything will work out just fine, but I do know how scary every little thing can be. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Has anyone bought babyroom furniture? My DH and I have gone out the past few weekends. Last weekend we went to ByeBye Baby...and they said that some of their cribs take up to 20 weeks!!!!! I started freaking out. That almost takes us up to delivery. YIKES!!!! Luckily we didn't like any of those, but man...I hope they don't all take that long. While we were there we checked out the clearance section. WOW....we got a few cute outfits for $2.50!!!! Plus a snowsuit for next winter for $5.00!!! Who can beat that?? I love it. Well I go back to the OB on Monday and I'm sure he will yell at me for not gaining enough weight as well. Last time I was there I hadn't gained a pound. Plus lately, I haven't been feeling the greatest and haven't been eating that regularly. We will see. Have a great Tuesday.

DH and I have gotten all of the main furniture, changing table, crib, and dressor, and it is going to take 3 to 4 months to come in, so yes most do take that long!! It is crazy how long it takes!! We ordered ours 2 weeks ago, so hopefully it will be in at plenty of time!! We did order it kinda early, but it is gender neutral. We just wanted to get the big stuff out of the way!! Jo~ So sorry your appt will be at 20 instead of 18! Grr. That must dissappointing I know. Everyone!~ So I just had a discovery that rocked my little world!! I have vericose veins on the back of my knee! I am only 24!! I know that it is bc of the pregnancy, but does anyone know what actually causes them? Staying on my feet too long? Im not sure, but as you can tell, I would like to prevent this as much as possible!! I figured it was way too early for them to start showing their ugly little face!! I am average weight and height, so all I can figure is that I have been on my feet and doing too much! I have felt horrible for about two days! The bottom of my uterus is gonna fall in the floor any time now I am sure of it!! The baby is for sure growing! I am having a hard time with classes, the university apparently didnt inverst any of my tuition into comfy seats or desks so I am sure I will be miserable for the next month until classes are out for the semester!! I had spring break last week and I went to classes yesterday and all of my classes were like dang, you are pregnant!! I am a sort of shy person and keep to myself in class, so I had not shared the news with anyone! It felt good for people to notice finally! As I said so a~mater~of~factly "why yes I am, I am due Sept. 5th!" with a big huge grin!! I should have thought on my feet and said, "oh crap, REALLY????" hehehe On a more positive note!!! I felt the baby kicking all around last night for sure!!! For about a week and a half, I have been feeling these little butterfly flutters every once in a while, but being a first time mom, I couldnt convince myself that is what it was, so I kept on my merry little way, but last night I was laying in bed on my right side and that baby was wiggling ALL around for about 20 minutes, my DH even could feel the little shock waves! I was definately convinced that this was the real thing!! hehe. Funny how I talk myself out of feeling stuff until I know for sure!! DH almost started crying and then we just layed there feeling our little bean until it desided to settle down! We were both jumping out of our skin with excitement!!! WOW sorry for the long post!! apparently I had alot to talk about!!

first, congrats on passing that kidney stone. that did not sound fun at all. but it's nice to know that ultrasounds have a +/- 7 days. it totally depends on the angle of the ultrasound. it's very possible to go in one morning and have the baby measure 13w4days and then go in the afternoon and have it measure either a few days before or later. so that is definitely something NOT to worry about I am returning my doppler today. It's bitter sweet...I will miss listening to my babies very much but it's nice not to feel like I have too. I do wish I would feel the babies move...I am encroaching 17 weeks...any day, right?

me, 27 yrs old - fine him, 29 yrs old- not so fine (low count, bad morphology) Married almost 3 wonderful years 10/12 started stims 10/24 ER @ 5:30am - 56 eggs, 40 mature, 24 embyos 10/28 ET @ 11am - Cancled, estrogen too high 12/16 FET - Transferred 3 embryos (1 good, 2 fair-good) 12/26 Beta - 254 12/30 Beta - 2,000 1/2 went to ER for bleeding - TWINS!!! 1/7 Beta 44,000 (tested out of paranoia) 1/13 - 2/9 4 perfect ultrasounds 2/23 NT Scan - good 3/17 - Baby B = Boy!!!!
