He did this, but when I went outside to let the dogs out, he had thrown the poo and the paper towel he used to clean it up, right out the back door! OMG Uh hello... brainiac... where would this be acceptable? Just wondering if this is a normal thing. I remember my brothers had some thought issues, but I usually took care of things so we wouldn't get in trouble. I just pray that his brain will become attached again soon.

BUT, in December while my husband was in the hospital and I was staying with him. Zack had to take care of the house and barn and all the animals and for the most part he did a very fine job. So I know the brain is still hanging around just perhaps only functions under stressful situations.

i am very sorry to inform you that no your teenagers brain will not reattach itself...impossible...

my son who has a problem smoking things he shouldn't smoke wants to join the army, well he has been joining the army for wks now..why??? because he keeps getting tested and it keeps coming back dirty..of course he hasn't quit smoking the things he shouldn't be smoking....he's 20 and does not listen to me...about anything, once he turned 13 i truly truly believe he received a pamphlet in the mail that said "now piss off your momma" and that was that...i love him dearly but geesh he can be trying at times, good luck.

Jessie -- What does your doc say about your weight loss? If he/she isn't worried, it is probably fine. Are you eating? I have lost a little weight, too, but only about 7 pounds still. I haven't had any nausea or vomiting and I really think my weight loss is just because of changing my eating habits. And, I was (& still am) fluffy. I do remember from nursing school that too much weight loss could be somewhat concerning during pregnancy because of the ketones released... If there's any way you can slow down your weight loss, that might be helpful, but I don't know if that's possible for you. I'm sure your baby will be fine, but I would definitely want to talk to the doctor...

Ponygirl -- I'm so sorry about your father. What a difficult time this must be... I'm glad that he gets to be at home, if that is his wish, at the end. I hope you can be there, but know he would understand if you can't.
As for your emotional state -- I definitely feel your pain. The other day I was listening to a morning radio program and a woman was talking about her friend, who is 6-7 months pregnant, calling her bawling. Her just saying that was enough to make me tear up!!! Generally, I cry at life stuff (when I'm sad or very, very angry), but I never cry at movies or TV shows or whatever. Lately, though, I have been tearing up over nothing -- just passing stuff on TV. Ridiculous!

My oldest brother got his brain back in his early 20's, so did my middle brother (both now have successful businesses... very successful) but the younger one of my brothers is still thinking the world owes him something. He has a good heart though. So I'm holding out hope that at least he'll turn out to be a great adult. Yours will too. If he can stay clean for the p-test, the Army really does a wonderful job of getting the guys to shape up and buck up. Both of my husbands were in the Army. The one brother who is still having issues at 39 was in the Marines. ROFL

As for my dad, thanks for all your thoughts, it really means a lot. I've decided to drive up tomorrow morning, my son will go with me. Doc said it was ok but drink lots and stop to stretch a lot... I said I will have to stop and stretch a lot if I'm drinking a lot cuz I will be running to the potty! Husband is ok with me driving but is the one who suggested I take Zack just to be safe. If something happens, even though he's 13 he could drive the car. Nothing is going to happen though. I was speaking to my mom on the phone just a minute ago and she picked up the other line and it was Dad. He thought he had come home yesterday and didn't know where he was and what was going on. Then he hung up on her. LOL I guess he didnt like what she said.

we'll see, he is always hangin with this girl that gives him pot to help her out, she's not so secretly in love with him, his g/f is having a fit...hopefully he'll straighten out his act and go into the army and find some discipline and guidance...i know i've done all i can for him...

see dad's fine, he knew when to hang up..lol best wishes for your family...

Oh, there is so much to read today.... Ponygirl you make me laugh so hard. melting brains out of ears???

Quote:

AFM-well I have officially turned PSYCHOTIC ! I am obsessed with running to the bathroom to check the TP! I hate that I have such a challenging pregnancy ALREADY! I'm scared to do anything. Tomorrow is my girls bday party..its at Putt Putt Golf b/c I knew I was going to need an easy breezy party. I have been ok'd to go, but all I can do is sit there...which is fine by me! The only other thing I can do is take the girls to and from school! I am at the point where, whatever it takes I am willing to do! Its just a little overwhelming to think I have 9 MORE WEEKS until these little ones are BARELY VIABLE in the outside world! I also have a lot of pulling in my abdomen anytime I lay on my back. I am thinking it might be scar tissue from my last c-section...but who knows! On the bright side I have gotten really good at Sudoku!!! ha ha

Lori - I am with ya, finally my spotting stopped but I still go to the bathroom every two hours to check. And today for the first time I felt like I can go out to grocery shopping and my mom didn't let me, huh. She has been taking care of the house since the big bang and been thru hell so she told me not to jump out of bed in my first opportunity. I am 34 and still cannot say no to her.

Happy weekend everyone.

Cool How r u doing Hope??

You hanging in over there! I think I'm turning in to an old lady over here! Anytime I get out of bed I get real dizzy, and forget taking a shower for longer than 5 minutes (it usually takes me 15-20)! I'm having DH get me a shower chair....haha, ROFL!! I'll have some stories to tell these girls, as long as I can get them here safe and sound!

My MIL and dh are finally cleaning up this house today, after the girls bday party! Say a prayer that I have no drama while I'm there! I'm going in, sitting in a chair, and THATS IT!! Their bday party last year was at the house, we had a huge bar-b-que with a water slide, and there were 50+ kids at our house, this will be SO MUCH NICER!!!

Hope everyone has a great weekend! No drama!!!

Smile youtube

I'm making SO many new friends...youtube, the tv, etc. But at the end of this road I am so thankful to the Lord above for blessing me with 2 more of his children...I know we all feel this way. I saw this on youtube today!

YouTube - I Would Die For That

It reminds me of where I've been, where I'm going, and how many others out there are going thru this as I write this. Enjoy.

lovinlife-

I am doing okay. I ventured out to my DH grandmother's 91st birthday lunch today. I didn't want to miss it because I cherish every day we still have her here. It was great to be out and around people but I just sat and let my DH cater to me.
I stopped bleeding 2 days ago and now it is just tinges of brown blood in my discharge. My recheck appointment is in the morning at 9:30. I am so ready to hear that me and baby are okay and that life can resume as usual. I am wondering what else is tomorrow because this was my original appointment and last time they did blood work and she said that she would do more at this appointment. I suppose it will be a pretty eventful visit. I am hoping I will get to see my precious little angel. I will let you know tomorrow what she says. that every thing is okay!!

Oh yeah, and my DH put a plastic lawn chair in the shower for me to sit in It worked though....

Hi Ladies,

I'm in New York now. My dad is going to be able to come home from the hospital today after Hospice comes and sets up a Cpap machine for him. He's mentally with it for the most part and very worried about me and the baby. Funny thing, he was fussing at my mom for something and shaking his finger at her saying that she's pregnant and not going to lose the baby... Mom said "I'm not pregnant .. she is" then Dad switched to me shaking his finger. The whole time he had a glint in his eye so I knew he knew what he was doing.

We're not expecting him to last very long at all, but all the kids will be here with him during this transition. I'll update all of you when there is something to update.

On another note, I had to go to the ER (in the same hospital as Dad) for a migraine. They didn't give me any good stuff, but I'm starting to feel a little better. I asked if they would Doppler the little one, so they did. I just wanted to make sure she was ok. The heartbeat was 160 and pretty strong and the lady who was doing it said that she sounded like a girl! Heehee I can't wait to find out for sure, but thought it was great that she said that and I heard the little one.

Miss all of our conversations, hope everyone is doing well.

So good to hear things are going as good as they can...nice news on the heartbeat..before we all know it we will have it confirmed what we're having...i think all of us are stressing about it..dyin to know...it's nerve wracking have a safe trip

Wow!!

Hi ladies,

Boy, this is a very active board...been gone for a few days and a lot has happened.

Ponygirl - I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. I am glad that you made it there safely and that things are going ok for now and that he gets to go home. You and your family are in my prayers!

Loveinlife - I have to say that I have been an emotional wreck lately...crying over every little thing. That video and song that you posted are beautiful, but I was sitting here bawling because it hit so close to home. Thanks for sharing and I'm glad to hear that you and Hope1779 are hanging in there.

Everyone Else - I hope all is going well with you and a belated welcome to anyone that joined recently.

AFM, leaving for vacation on Sunday and trying to get things handled at work before I go. Also had to go buy some new clothes since my don't fit anymore...yeah, finally starting to show, but boo because I am feeling fat.

Wishing DH would change his mind about finding out what we are having. He wants it to be a surprise. I know if I find out, I am going to slip, so I guess we have to wait...ugh! Kimbev is right, it's VERY nerve wracking.

Sooo, I had someone at work tell me the other day that I was looking very maternal (which I took as a compliment) and that my a** is getting big too I could not believe the nerve of this person...who incidentally, I am not really friendly with to begin with. How could she say something like that to a person...let alone a prenant woman? I tell you, the nerve of some people.
