Good morning ladies!

Not sure if i have heartburn or indigestion, think it is indigestion but i just comment that it is the joys of pregnancy. Wrapped the inlaws/sil/bil niece and nephew's gifts of dh's to give them on sat at the shower. Even if they come for the birth, i don't want to deal with thinking about christmas. For my mom/dad i am going to go to a pottery place and paint pic frames and get a pic of them each seperatly for the frames, have my niece/nephew taken care off as well. Chankaha is Dec 11 so that will be right after the baby is born. I will send out niece/nephew's stuff soon, just got them gift cards.

We of course have the shower this weekend and dh got motivated and wants to take belly shots as well. He asked me to go out and buy props so it should be interesting to say the least. Going to treat my mom and myself to a man/ped tomm. Don't know about you ladies but all I can wear is flipflops these days with my swollen feet, so i will wear a dress and flipflops to my party on sat. should be fun!

had one prediction thing say boy/one said girl but we know we are having a girl.

wtn-shower is on sat as well, will get my butt in gear after that to get the rest of the stuff that i need. Have you dropped? I haven't yet so not so hungry but tired and lazy which is so not me.

funny story-dh is going to take belly shots this weekend and wants me to get props and stuff. well told my mom that we need to go shopping tomm for props and she thought i was talking about shower and people taking shots off my belly. Her mind is in the gutter

Funny...I got Boy but I feel Girl. Guess I gotta wait to see who is right.

Hungry...no more than usual...in fact I am still down 3 lbs from pre-pregnancy weight. My belly is bigger but still very high.

Tired...Yup all the time. I nap almost everyday with Tristan.

Hey ladies! Trying to catch up on all of your posts this week! Question for ya...I just had an ultrasound today at 34.5 weeks. Measurements showed her to weigh 4lbs 8oz. I am not sure what percentile she is in, but does this sound normal? Too small? Help! I'm nervous...I want her to be fat and healthy!!!!

lucy-i don't think that's too small at all...probably on the slightly smaller side but not teeny! you have a bunch of weeks for her to get chubbier!

i had my 36 week OB visit on wed...everything went well...no "dropping" or changes in my cervix...that was slightly disappointing...not that they expect it necessarily but it would have been a very positive indicator of having a successful VBAC. my OB is less optimistic that i will ever "drop" and have the baby's head engage since it hasn't started to and that's exactly what happened with my son. i am all over the place emotionally as i am really really wanting a VBAC but don't know that it will happen. she decided to let me go full term so my c-section won't be scheduled until the actual due date...i wanted it that way so i can have as much time as possible to let my body try for a vaginal delivery but only time will tell. so, i am carrying higher and not so hungry with lots of indigestion if i eat too much at once but hanging in there hoping for a big DROP of this baby soon!!!

Lucy-the weight can be all over the place. We actually asked the estimated weight of delivery based on the weight at that appt and they can do that, but no worries, just enjoyment that your babe is growing and is almost there.

eac-gosh, so sorry to hear that your ob gave you such news. I am 36 and 2 days and haven't dropped yet but our girl is in the head down position. Have you thought about natural things such as acupressure or acupunture to help with this, my cousin's baby was breach and she went and got acupunture and it moved her body around no problem. She also got preggo massage from the same acupunture place. We have this great place where we live called amazing births.

me-well i can officially get excited about the shower! My dh rocks, i was lumping my shower with started to freak out about getting everything done and he put it in place for me. It is just a day to enjoy family and close friends to celebrate the entrance for our little girl. We will wake up on saturday and have a great day and wake up on sunday and have a great day! He is right of course, but i kept on telling myself that after the shower its crunch time for us but for real we could have our baby and without me doing anything else we will be fine.

i do feel more hungry. i even gained 7 lbs in a week UGH! but im still doing good with the weight gain. ive gained about 18-20 lbs which is good. tired MOST DEF!!!!! i go to sleep everyday at about 8pm and wake up for work at 7am but im in bed as soon as i get home. i dont cook my bf does (idk how to cook.. i know i know lol) so i get home shower and str8 to bed.. aahh the life!!! lol

had my appt this past wed and i feel like im so out of the loop. u girls all know how much ur baby is measuring and their weight and im like up in the air. this **** doctor doesnt tell me sh!t!!!! i asked him if he can tell me what her weight is and he says well ur 34 weeks so shes about 5 lbs or almost 5 lbs.. im like hello can u freakin check!?!? like wtf is it so hard for him to check. jesus christ. hes getting on my last **** nerve! blah! sorry for the vent but ****. i feel as if i know nothing on my own daughter.

i keep having dreams that i had the baby etc etc.. last nights dream was we had the baby and went somewhere and i 4 got to feed her all day and when i remembered she was sleeping and i didnt wanna wake her up.. strange i know.. any of u having dreams that the baby is here?

mimia-they don't tell me the weight unless we ask. DH happened to ask last time and asked about predicted weight for delivery. He goes to all the appts and usually asked the questions that i don't. Don't get frustrated, be pushy. No dreams about the babe, unfortunely i'm not making it to REM to have dreams right now. I am sleeping but waking up every 2 hours or so to pee and sometimes I walk around.

hallie- we always ask and never get an answer so imagine.. i mean besides not giving us info he is a good doctor but ****nnn!! lol

yea im the same way.. im up every night like 7 or 8 times.. theres times i go pee and i swear i havent fallen back to sleep and i get up again to pee lol

I do dream at night and boy does it some times drive me crazy, it seems that I can be stuck with the same dream repeating and repeating it, so I wake up and there it is again weird..

I feel that my doctor does not say much either. They usually ask me if I have any questions. Next wk I go to see doc, will ask if there is going to be another u/s to determine weight. I can always go to the 3d place and get a free u/s and check for weight.

In the begining I did the Chinese predictor and it said I was having a girl, they were wrong. I did 2 other predictors and they were right..

yami- i think thats what i will do. go to the 3D place. i actually had an appt wed at 8pm but because the yankees were playing i didnt go lol.. yea i know stupid idea since i didnt even watch the game. i was knocked out before it even started. im going to call now and see if theres an open spot for tonight!

Hallie- I was feeling the same way about having our shower. But I've had a distraction...
basically we found two 3-4 week old kittens and when we questioned our neighbors about them (they have 10 unspayed/unneutered cats-across the street) they said "their cat dropped a litter somewhere" but these were not her kittens. They may have been correct but still a crazy answer by taking no responsibility. So I've contacted everyone/all animal groups to take these little kittens and after nursing them for two days (hoping the mother might return), one died, we took the other to the local animal shelter. So I've been unhappy about the whole situation to say the least. My dh and I are animal lovers and so this was not easy.

On a brighter note: I'm doing slightly better with heartburn when I eat tiny meals but I still love and what maybe my only craving are for eggcreams (choc milk w/ selter) and they fill you up quick.

And my dreams have been alot of fun lately. We've been watching netflix play it now, old episodes of the Rockford Files and I've been helping solve a few cases in my dreams.

I have an exciting day lined up
Buy some new bedsheets
make and freeze cookie dough for post baby cookie emergencies.
make a yucatan chicken and lime soup for dinner.
I may have to stop right now though and have a 2nd breakfast.
