Jess ~ I think cramps are expected as long as no red blood accompanies them. Hope they go away.

Oh thank heavens!!! Im not losing my mind to old age just yet! Someone else with memory issues. It is really REALLY REALLY bad when a speech therapist has word finding difficulties. I find that the last 3 days I have had a lot of word finding issues. Makes work difficult. LOL!

1 Where do you live: Southern NJ
2 What do you do for a living: 5th grade Special Ed. Teacher
3 How long have you been married: It will be 5 years on June 20th
4. How long have you been trying for this miracle: TTC #2 since July 2007
5. I have a 4 yr. old son named Ashton who makes me smile every single day! (I added my own.... )

Jess ~ I read that you are moving to PA, do you mind if I ask where? We used to live in Lansdale, Montgomery County up until 3 years ago and my DH is from the Lehigh Valley area. Also, where in NJ does your DH teach? I teach in Deptford which is in Gloucester County.

LacyD ~ That is so cool that you are in Hollywood, I've always wanted to visit CA - just to say I've been there! How are the twins? Any symptoms yet?

As for my symptoms, other than the OHSS I feel fine. Maybe a little hungrier and more tired than usual, but other than that nothing. I didn't have any morning sickness or cramps with Ashton either so I'm hoping this pregnancy is the same! I can't wait until this OHSS goes away though - my stomach is huge and I have to struggle to find things to wear to hide it! Really attractive.....

So happy to be able to share these next 8 months with all of you!!!
~ Melissa

Thanks Lina. I don't know about the siggy thing. I go under user cp above and then edit signature. When you post make sure you don't have the hide signature box checked off.

Tami hehe....I'm glad I'm not the only one. I had a meeting Thursday (a friend of mine went in to labor early and her job was left w/o an accountant so she asked me if I would mind filling in for her till maternity leave is over) and we were talking about payroll and I completely forgot what I was trying to say. This is my first week and they much think I'm not too bright lol.

Melissa..we are looking in Lehigh Valley, Northhampton County. My hubby's family is from tunkhannock pa (don't worry no one has ever heard of it lol). He works at Columbia HS in Maplewood SD. We are excited to leave NY....after 30 years the city life is just too much for me (too much traffic, too many people, too many cars, etc lol).

So this Mother's day I didn't want a physical gift but I did give dh a list of things I would like done and one of them was to get my tires balanced and my a/c recharged...he just left with my car lol. He's also going to clean my bathroom :-)

Does anyone else have Mother's day plans??

Wow! It is a amazing to see so few of us are in this thread thus far, and yet so many of us are in the Special Education field.

Jess- What a great idea! I just might give my DH a list too! lol. Although, I havent really had to give him one just tell him at the time. When my in-laws were up (last week), they met my parents for the first time and we told both families together about their upcoming grandchild(ren). Anyways, while they were up, DH took us all out to dinner to celebrate.

Hmmm.. Im starting to wonder if I had OHSS too. First off, I was having those severe cramps that caused me to double over. Secondly, I cant walk around for long without feeling discomfort and needing to sit. Lastly, only like one pair of pants fit around the waist! I know that I am too early to start showing. So, I thought I was just getting fat from all the eating, and sleeping and lack of excersise. Granted only place I am "fatter" is around my tummy.
I dont know enough about OHSS. Either way, I have been doing a lot of relaxing. I go back to work on Monday. So up until then, I have just been eating, sleeping, resting, and being an overall bum! lol

I was going to post yesterday but I got so tired (again) and ended up napping for a long time. I can tell there are two little peanuts in here, sapping me of my energy. Another symptom is gnawing hunger but I don't know what I want to eat. Nothing really appeals to me right now except peanut butter on anything. I can eat peanut butter on cardboard and I'd be happy. I was doing really well with my pregnancy diet, too! Hopefully I'll enjoy all kinds of food again soon.

Tami- That's great that you're a speech therapist. That has always interested me which is partially why I got into early intervention. I had a speech therapist when I was 5 because I had a lisp and I loved going. It was fun coloring Sammy the Snake.

You're right, Tami, looks like we have another teacher in the Special Education field. Hi again, Melissa! You should totally visit Hollywood. I think everyone should see it at least once. I could show you the best view of the Hollywood sign since it's in my neighborhood.

Jessica- I'm so sorry you had that scare. I haven't had any cramps quite that bad but I was having period cramps at night for a few days. I was really worried. I told my RE and he asked if I got the cramps before or after taking the PIO and I told him after. He was a little concerned about that b/c the PIO is supposed to relax your uterus. So he said I should stop exercising and having sex. SEX? What is this "sex"? He said that would help. I wonder if you had a lot of activity that day? I'm glad it wasn't anything serious!

Speaking of memory, I can't remember if I posted that story before?? Yes, my mind is like a seive. Nothing stays there for long.

Wanessa- I think what is most important is if your numbers double, which yours did. So, congratulations!!

I hope everyone has a great Mother's Day! This will be my first as a Mom-to-Be. How exciting!

Okay, I'm going downstairs to see what I can submerge in peanut butter and eat. Hehe.

4. How long have you been trying for this miracle: TTC since May 2005

Hello all - I've been looking for a January 2010 thread to join and am glad to have found one. I was just reading about the symptoms everyone has been having and I too have had some cramping. However my cramps are mainly after dinner in the late evening and are more so in my stomach then similar to AF.

Hello- Congratulations to everyone who is pg! I got my very first BFP yesterday at 14dpiui. My due date is 1/21/2010. I took a hpt on Sunday (10dpiui) and it was BFN. I took a blood test at the RE's office yesterday - mostly to rule out pg and start planning the next cycle. I was stunned when they called to tell me it was BFP! My beta was only 40. But the RE said that is in the normal range and the important thing is that it rises enough when I go in on Monday for the next test. I am keeping my fingers crossed and saying lots of prayers that it does. So far, my only symptoms have been dull cramps for over a week and I'm more tired than usual.

Melissa- I live in Camden County - Voorhees. Do you mind if I ask who your ob\gyn is? I moved here about a year ago, saw 1 for my annual last Aug - did not like her at all. I've been seeing an RE for almost 5 months, but he doesn't see pt as an ob\gyn anymore.

Hello ladies!!!
Today I had my third Beta and I'm waiting for the results.
I can't wait to hear them and I'm that all is ok.
i've been feeling really tired latelly and I've been nauseous (not throwing up or anything). The only other symptom that I have is my sense of smell. It's been VERY strong for a while.....
Bbs are not too sore...but a little....
I'm still having some occasional lower back aches....they come and go nothing too bad.

Should I be worried about the lower back aches???

2 What do you do for a living: I work for a Company called Maple Leaf Farms, I'm a Live Production Clerk.....I handle all the paperwork.
3 How long have you been married: 5 years in August

Hi ladies and welcome to all the new girls! Sorry I haven't been posting much. I don't have any news, I'm just waiting a few more days till our first u/s. I cannot wait, b/c I feel like I shouldn't get too excited before then, and that is hard to do! Hope you are all doing well.
