Also, regarding taking baths, I have to disagree... I honestly don't think there's anything wrong with it. I don't see how you could get any kind of infection, unless you don't dry off properly and it remains too moist down there. Then you might get a yeast infection. Can you ask an RE or nurse for their opinion?

Seriously? they were great, but it's a bit of a shock after being so monitored, so closely watched, to be let go like that...what..no more needles? no more counts? ivf is over?
still in disbelief and I am 7 weeks preggo today!!
with no symptoms, except for a strong heartbeat we saw on Tuesday................like a starbust on the screen........kept waiting, expecting t osee 2 or 3....so prepared with transferring 3 to see more....
lots of emotions.........look forward to this journey with all of you!!

if you rub your but for a bit after the shot you will not get the bumps.....I have 3 more weeks of these **** shots....until 10weeks, my husband has become a pro, we icepack for 20min until numb, then he sticks me, can;t feel it at all, have you tried ice packs yet?

My doc told me to be cautiously optomistic at the sono....it was very disturbing to hear that. Based upon my history and my age that is what she said. Medically speaking, if you have a HB over 100 at 5-6 weeks GESTATIONAL age then you are most likely going to make it. I am at 4 weeks and 3 days gestationally, and I have a heartbeat. It just wasn't as fast as she thought it should be yet she also stated it may have just started beating so it wasn't going fast yet. Maybe there was more she wasn't telling me. Dunno.

Isn't it great when you go to your doc for reassurance, and they make you even more paranoind than you already are? your little bean's heartbeat gets stronger every day!

I hope I get to see something a little more than the two sacs. But I will only be 5 weeks 2 days at my next u/s.

Kelly-I hope everything is ok. How are you feeling? It is scary when that happens, but hopefully it's just the normal aches and pains.

Renni-Don't be too worried. I think all the techs/docs tend to be over cautious. My DS's hb was only 80 at 6 weeks (I think that's 4 weeks gestational) and I was told that was borderline, which freaked me out and had me on the internet for a week! He turned out great, no issues, so please don't get too concerned.
