I am a tad worried today. I got my third beta, which increased, but not in the 48-72 hour window of doubling time.... 73 hours to be exact. Betas every Wed. for the next 2 weeks, so hopefully increases will be seen again there like I would want.

Trying NOT to get too worked up about this, but you know.

I wouldn't worry yourself over it. That doesn't do you are the baby any good, but it is easier said than done right! I think that as long as the number is going up that is great news. With my DS my first beta was 148 and my second was 305 two days later. My point is you surpassed that with your results . Let us know how the next one goes. I will be for good numbers!!!

Welcome Praying2BMommy and Congrats. All we can do is hope and wait! Glad you are here... I think it helps pass the time!

I just got my 2nd beta's back and they did actually rise. From 72 on 13dpo to 182 on 16dpo. I guess that's good. I am celebrating this one step towards possibly healthy pregnany.

Renni: your on CD 30 and had 187? I am CD29 with 182. The doc's office said that was normal and "good", what do you think? Is that still considered low-ish or ok?

I'm just still so nervous, my 2nd m/c I had rising hcg levels for the first two and then we never checked again b/c we just didn't have a reason too....

I won't be checking the next two weeks either due to vacation (mental health vacation)! I have an u/s on Father's day @ 6w3days.....

I'll be on vacation but of coarse I'll have a laptop!

We did the same thing first pregnancy. 2 betas then did not check, by the time we did it was 500, down from 1300. Thats why I am doing it every week till the u/s. I feel better today about the doubling issue, everday is different, rising numbers are good.

Maggie May: the level could be anywhere between 5-500 so anything is "normal" BUT, I cannot say that we are right together any more because ....

Somehow I was told or thought I was told 187, but it was actually 287, so it is even higher which just makes me feel better! But, anything 5-500 is OK so nobody else stress about this!!

I will go back on Monday to get another check, which will be 7 days past the last one so my level should be at: 1148+ As long as it is over a thousand I will be feeling OK so *pray* for me!!!

Is anyone on prometrium? I was seeing the RE in Dallas and would have started taking it after ovulation, (when we were injecting) but since getting the BFP I started taking it as a precaution but wonder if it is the right thing to do. My doc extended my script (here in CA) until I get to my obgyn, so I guess it is OK. Would it be bad to take it if you did not need it??

I am on prometrium this time, one time a day (at night) 200mg, taken the fun way. LOL

My first progesterone was 42.5, but they put me on it anyway. Even though its pregnancy category B, the benefit does far outweigh any minimal risk. My cramping is alot less this time, I believe its the prometrium. It calms the uterus., helps your body not go all "auto immune" on the embryo for some.

What Re in Dallas did you go to? We are with Dr. Lee in Irving. Not too impressed, but insurance covers his clinic and only his clinic.

Hi ladies,
I am very nervous about posting here because of the RPL. I got my yesterday, 11 dpo and the beta was 47. I go again tomorrow, 14 dpo, for another one and everything is ok. I am nervous and excited at the same time. I am on progesterone gel twice a day and Metformin 2000 mg. I cannot get online at home but try to sneak in at work when I can.

Congrats to everyone and I am looking forward to sharing this wonderful expierence with all of you.

47 is good that early! I am a stressor about Betas but have learned to calm down about them. LOL

DRB-I was seeing Dr. Haas at ARC, I saw Dr. Le once, he also did my lap in November. I was happy with them, Dr. Haas isn't as nice as Dr. Le but I liked them both.

Congrats Airman, sorry I missed your post...we'll have a big group before you know it. I still cannot believe I am in a "due date buddy" group!!

Renni- I'm on prometrium at the moment. I started taking it the day after retrieval and have been using the inserts 2x/day since then. After my beta today, they said my progesterone was a little low, so now I have to take one orally and one, as DRB puts it, "the fun way" (LOL!) 2x/day. Next beta is scheduled for Monday.

Hello everyone! Congratulations!

We are crossing our fingers and toes that this one sticks! Just found out on Friday June 5 (14 days past ovulation) that we are pregnant again. We weren't even trying! We are the process of having a house built and we were just going to wait untill all of that settled down! And here we are. We are extreamly excited. So back on prometrium (200 mgs 3 times daily) YUCK! Had my first beta yesterday and it was 103. Seems kind of low? Back again tomorrow to see if it doubled. Will keep you all updated.
