paisley- Glad ur feeling better!! Mine ended up just being really bad allergies....I never had allergies b4 being pregnant but I sure do now!!!

Anyone having bad sciatic pain...omg.!!!!! After I did my last facial today I was cleaning the room up and went to shift my weight to my right leg and almost went down to the floor...I couldn't put any weight on my right leg at all for like 20 minutes!!! The pain went from my butt all the way to my toes!!!! Ugh!!!!

Having the glucose test done this Tuesday...anyone else doing this soon?

Andrea- I've been getting that bad sciatica pain since the first trimester! And yes sometimes it catches me off guard and I nearly fall down.

I have my glucose test on the 19th, so tell me how bad it is after Tuesday LOL.

Wow, I leave for a couple days and can barely catch up with you girls. It has been a crazy few days. Thursday was the rehersal dinner for my bff's wedding and yesterday was the wedding. I've barely slept and wanted to die last night. I managed to stay til midnight, but could hardly walk up the stairs to go to bed. I woke up this morning weighing 3 lbs more than I did yesterday morning. That's some serious water...grrrr. Anyway, I've had the linea nigra for awhile now. Started to notice it just after 12 weeks and it's gotten darker. It's not super dark though, so I don't mind it. As for when Jax is kicking, he LOVES hot chocolate. Last night at the wedding he "slept" most of the time, but today has been payback. He's been going crazy. I'm about ready for bed, at 7:00, since I haven't slept much and I'm getting sick. I've had a sore throat for days now, luckily I'm going to the Dr. on Thursday (also getting my GTT). Have a good night girls!

Andrea - I had crazy sciatic pain from week 9 to about week 13, but havent felt it much since. I'm going for my glucose tolerance test and all that fun stuff on the 13th. Please, God, let me pass the 1 hour. I really don't want to go thru the 3-hour!!

AFM - Yesterday was supposed to (ha!) be the day my cousin moved out, so I was all super-motivated to get into the spare room and start getting Marius' stuff in order in there. My cousin was supposed to take several pieces of furniture and all he took was a frickin' DRESSER! A small dresser, at that. I seriously only gained about 5 sq feet in that room! Ugggh! He decided he's not taking the bookcase, even though it's his. And he's not taking the display case, even though it's his. And he didn't even bother taking his PS2 or his stereo or ANYTHING off the bookcase. And his mother was just like, "Well, he doesn't want to start off with his apartment all cluttered." Tough $hit! So he gets to clutter this place up too, just like his sister did who moved out over a YEAR ago! All her $hit is sitting in boxes in the family room downstairs. If he doesn't want the stuff in his apartment, that's fine, but it's HIS stuff, and he should be responsible for finding an alternate place to put it. Both me and my mom were under the impression that it was his moving day yesterday. Instead, he called a friend over, moved ONE LITTLE DRESSER, and then went hunting. All day. And his mom was fine with that. WTF?? I hate them.

Ok that was my b!tch for the day. lol I did get some stuff done yesterday. I got Marius' dresser in the other room at least (swapped it out for a dresser in the spare room) so now I can go thru all the clothes I have for him and sort them. I'm gonna pull all the newborn and 0-3mo clothes out and put them in the dresser, then rearrange the underbed stoage bins according to size, so when he grows out of the 0-3 I can just pull out the 3-6mo bin and swap the clothes out. Got all my clothes transferred to the dresser I brought in my room, and went thru a lot of $hit. I have 3 trash bags full of clothes to send to the Salvation Army or wherever. All in all, after all the stress, it was still a productive day and I was asleep by 8:00. lol

More cleaning/organizing to do today! I'll catch up with you ladies later!


Oh, and I hit 6 months today! I've been pg since May 8!

Amber - I would put his stuff right outside for the trash men to take. I would dare him to say something also and if he did I would say "Well you didnt want it and neither did I so.........." Ok I am guessing that 2 pg women comng up with a solution to this problem is not good....haha

afm - well the planning of my shower is a hot mess!!! My bff is learning how controlling my MIL is and my bff is so annoyed. My MIL wants to have my shower Dec 13 (basically next week) but that seems rather early and with the holiday coming it doesnt seem a good finanical move. My bff also told everyone that she would do the invites but guess who wants to do them? My MIL. My MIL sent my bff 5 emails back to back about the shower on friday night after my bff basically said that the shower should be in Jan and the reasons why. Oh my MIL didnt like that. During all of this my mom hasnt said a word. I told my bff that my mom wouldnt b/c for one she cant stand my MIL, two she knows how controlling she is, three my mom nows if she says anything it wont be nice. So my mom called me and told me that she would call my bff on Monday to talk about everything. Man my MIL is a trip!!!

Amber your cousins suck! I think you either need to hire someone to come take the furniture away or get DH to haul it somewhere. If they are gonna be disrespectful to you like that then you have no obligation whatsoever to keep their sh@t!

Now how is it possible you are 6 months when I hit 6 months yesterday? I'm behind you! I'm counting every 4 weeks and now I am 24 weeks. Am I wrong?

Paisley - I've been pregnant since May 8. I didn't count by wks, I counted like May 8 to June 8, June 8 to July 8. That kind of thing. lol

I wish I could just put his crap on the curb, but his mom would have a fit. She and my mom bought this house together, but apparently she thinks it's just HER house. She has the biggest bedroom (converted garage) downstairs. There's a family room downstairs. She has a ton of storage in her bedroom and puts her crap in the downstairs family room too. But she spends all her time in the upstairs living room, and if anyone (aka me, my mom, or DH, not her precious children) leaves anything in a common area upstairs, she has a problem with it. We have no storage up here whatsoever, and we're doing the best we can with the space we have. My mom's room is like, overflowing with crap that can't stay in the common area. And some of it is my aunt's! My aunt leaves her crap in the upstairs common area all she wants. And then when company comes over, where does it all go? It gets piled in what is supposed to be Marius' space. She'll even mover everyone's mail because it's "cluttering" up the kitchen table or whatever, so when we go to look for something we can't find it, but guess who's mail is sitting smack dab in the middle of the table? Hers. It's ridiculous. I can't wait to get out of here. There have seriously been times where I have been close to physically assaulting her, which is unwise because she's like 5'8", 300+ lazy a$$ pounds, and I'm afraid of being crushed to death. lol

Ablessing- Sorry about the baby shower war between your BFF and your MIL, it reminds me of my wedding LOL. A war between my MIL (who was paying for it) and my Mom (who thought she should get to pick everything even though she wasn't contributing). I hope your BFF wins and you get to have a nice relaxing shower. But either way at least Kennedy will get some nice stuff!

Paisley- I count myself as 6 months as well, but Amber is may mean that she's at the end of her sixth month? I'm going by What to expect and the 6th month is from 23 wks-27 wks. So in 5 days Amber will start her 7th month? I dunno. I don't want to be 5 months any longer, so I tell people I'm 6 months LOL.

Well we're almost in the last trimester ladies! So exciting to be in the home stretch! I am having a b!tchy day with DH. I woke him this morning at 8:30 and asked him when he was gonna start working on the renos toady, and he informed that he was going to work to do all the stuff he hadn't done all week while he's been hunting! UGH! I am so angry, I want to see something get finished around here! He always starts stuff and either loses interest or chooses to do other things instead.

I feel like choosing not to do his laundry or cook for him and see how he likes it. Also I'm grumpy because, when do I ever get to shirk my family duties and go play with friends for a whole week? I wish I knew someone who was handy, I'd offer them a job here doing the baby's room. But I'm too afraid to actually hire someone, A) I don't want to pay thru the nose B) I'm not the handiest person so I won't know if they are doing things right.

Jeez all the baby's room needs is 2 sheets of drywall, 1 wall of trim, and a closet door. It seems to me it could be practically done in a day if SOMEONE got his butt motivated.

Well there's my rant for the day! Oh and me and DD are having a miserable day together, which usually happens when she goes thru "Daddy Withdrawl".

Emmysmom I feel your pain. I dont know why dh's take so long to do stuff. When my dh starts to do that I usually just start doing what I asked him to do. When he sees me doing it he usually jumps up and starts it. So start attempting to put the drywall up and see what hubby does. Dont lift the drywall though but turn the tools on etc to make it llok like your about to do something. Hopefully he wont just sit there and watch you do it but take it as a hint. This is the only way I can get dh moving sometimes.

I wish that would work Ablessing, but he's not even here So unless he comes home to me demoing the room, I doubt he'll get motivated.

Normally I would do that, but this time it's kinda hard to.

Where to start...he's moving the main floor laundry to the bsmt, because it's just in a back hallway right now, and trying to do laundry in a narrow space where we put all our boots and coats is not working. So he needs to finish that. To do the baby's room, I have to move all DD's toys to the computer room, because right now the nursery is a toyroom. The computer needs to be relocated so that toys will fit...see it's a trickle down effect. UGH! I don't want to move DD's toys unless I know he's gonna do the work. The computer and office furniture is supposed to go downstairs but I'll probably have to find somewhere up here for it, as the bsmt is no where near being finished. Not the best list of stuff to do for a serial procrastinator (DH).

I'm just cleaning today and trying to be productive, but I still haven't done his laundry yet ...I'm still deciding whether or not I like him that much

IDK if you could find a different background/slider combo that would make it look a little farther ahead. I mean, that elephant has to be like, the biggest slider on there. Maybe it's the bigger background that you have? *shrugs*

Emmysmom - Men! Sheesh! I would be mad, too. The idea of shirking your household duties is appealing. Especially if you don't cook for him and disable the microwave But it'll probably just cause more work for you in the long run, trying to catch up on stuff. lol I agree with ablessing - make it look like you're about to start on it, and he'll probably jump right in. Especially since you'd probably be doing it all wrong lol, so if he wants it done right, he's gotta do it himself! lol

I don't have a What to Expect book, so I didn't know they gave you a little timeframe. I have a Week By Week, but haven't read it in weeks and just found it under Marius' dresser when we moved it yesterday lol I mean, going by the way I'm counting (May 8-June 8 is 1 month, June 8-July 8 is 2 months), 9 months would fall on Feb 8, and I'm due the 12, so it all evens out, right? *shrugs* I'm expending too many brain cells trying to think about this right now. I'm hungry and my mitochondria are screaming for some fuel. lol
