hi ladies!

Not much to update here...I'm between my last beta (8/7) and my first u/s (8/20) and have to say, the waiting is awful! I am such a worrier!!

Initially I had some cramping and abdominal soreness like everything was moving around to make room in there, but that seems to have gone away. I have some breast tenderness (notice it more when I'm sleeping braless), and am tired. A small amount of nausea that comes and goes. Other than that I do not feel PG!! Hoping for great news next Thursday!

I had a few things to say but can't remember them! be right back w/more comments!

I just got my beta back today & am pregnant again (3rd time in 6months). I am praying for a healthy pregnancy this time. I have so many emotions running through me now & I so hope this turns out well. I was so gearing up to go ahead with IVF & PGD (my dh & I were about to sign all the releases & get the ball rolling when I found out I was pregnant). I am so nervous that this is going to end in a m/c. I don't know if I can be happy. I haven't had any pregnancy symptoms either, so I don't know. But saying that with the other pregnancies I've never had any symptons either. I guess I have to just HOPE & PRAY.

Will be sending positive thoughts & prayers to ya Sherry! When is your next appt?

good luck with the rest of your pg. I hear ya on the worry...and congrats on the boy and girl!!!

Mary-yes the waiting can be brutual, i highly suggest a sleep bra, being awake because your boobs hurt is never a good thing. No worries about the symptoms they will come and go. I got hit hard with ms the 6th/7th week untill about 13/14th weeks and then nothing until i felt some movement. As a fertility person you get so many more u/s than if you just got pregnant. Most ob's don't do u/s until week 12, i got my first one 6 weeks 3 days. feel good!

Me-we have a photoshoot day planned. dh does photography on the side and we offered to shoot my close friend's mother who is turning 100 in october for her invitations and a friend of my mom's who needs to get some dates. He shot some b/w's of me and my belly last night. We will do some more when the belly gets bigger but here goes for now.

Heart

Hallie - These pix are beautiful. I do photography on the side as a hobby, but obviously can't photograph myself! Giggle. I did research a photographer in town who specializes in pregnancy photography and we plan to get them taken in the 7th month. Your DH is VERY talented and you are so beautiful!!

Schumach - Bless your heart. You are such a strong woman and a trooper. As I said before, you are a determined mommy and literally have "willed" your babies into your life! I am so proud of you and hope your pg goes well and am praying for you to be as healthy as you can be. Have a great weekend!

Marymary - Symptoms come and go from day to day, so don't worry about it. You are fine!!!

Highhopes - How are you doing?? What is the latest? So glad you joined us.

Not much with me. With DH and we are running around. Went to the Gap. They are having a sale on their summer items and they are perfect (dresses, travel wear, tshirts, etc.) for me to wear during pregnancy through November. Hot here in Texas until then, so better to buy cheaper clothes that will keep me cool. Even found some 38DD bras on sale! DH was so patient in helping me buy things and has been helping me in and out of the car. Such a good man.

Love you girls! Will write more Sunday.... !

Just a quick pic of the boy at his first b-day party. Soon, you too will be learning how to get frosting out of hair!

Hi everyone - thanks for the welcome and all the support. As far as my update goes.....I had my beta done on Weds & it was 145 & Fri it was 663, which is good news. However, the beta numbers have never been my problem, it's been making sure there is a h/b and it stays there. I have to make an appointment for an u/s the week of Aug 24th & I guess I'll find out then. although since we don't know when I ovulated I have a feeling like last time we won't really see anything until the 2nd u/s. So now I just wait & pray

kblythe-cute pic

high hopes-okay so we keep on for a hb.

me-I got my hair colored today to become a brunette. I've been blonde since 16 and I've wanted to do this for a while. I debated about the health risks and what not but figured that tons of women do it and their babies are fine. Also got our stroller today and will regisitar next weekend. Pooped now so hopefully i will be able to sleep tonight.

Hallie, I had my hair done throughout my pregnancy. (Also going from light blonde to dark blonde for ease of maintenance!) I'm fine. I did minimal research, and it seems the danger comes if you work in the hair care industry while pregnant and are constantly exposed.

great photos, ladies!

continuing positive thoughts and prayers for ya, Highhopes!

hallie & kblythe, I'm glad to hear the updates about hair coloring. I have some serious gray going on that needs to be fixed. Will probably wait as long as I possibly can...and my hairdresser gave me some semi-permanent that should be safe, too!

hallie, good for you on the name change. I also got married in Sept of 2008, but got all my name change stuff done back then. SSA wasn't too bad for me, hopefully it won't be bad for you either.

AFM, not much going on. Had some nausea this morning, can't seem to settle on a good breakfast food. My Lean Cuisine I had for lunch was icky so I had a big salad from the cafeteria instead. 2 more days in the office til my u/s appt on Thursday.

That seemed to be my one pregnancy symptom. I wasn't really nauseous, exactly, but nothing really sounded good to eat ... not even some of my old stand-bys. I remember having an epiphany that the best thing for dinner would be tater tots and a caprese salad? Tater tots? For real? I hadn't eaten them in 15 years? And with a caprese salad? Pregnancy certainly had its bizarre moments.

I developed a sudden need for Spaghetti-os. Yes, pasta from a can. Hadn't had any since I was maybe 10, like 30 years ago. And I swear they tasted awesome!! Pregnancy does do funny things
