Not sure when the u/s is. Guess they will tell me Thursday. I know they wanted me at at least 6 weeks.

Hi Amy you sound alot like me. I have to poas every morning to be sure its still true since no symptoms lol. So far is slightly darker each day but still not as dark as the control line yet. My first beta was 151 at 10p5dt and 2nd was 391 at 13dp5dt. I cheated and got another from my obgyn which was 636 at 15dp5dt so #3 didnt double. I am not doing anymore and will wait for my ultrasound on 8/20/09. Wish you luck

sounds like a few of us are in a holding pattern until next week, huh? I am not enjoying the waiting, but trying to stay positive and not worry.

Good luck at U/S April. Glad I am not the only one still POASing. I would not worry about the "cheat" beta not doubling. There are so many factors (mainly different lab/equipment as well as different times of day) I think you are just fine!!

Hi Ladies I would love to join this thread. I am 6w4d along. I haven't really joined any boards about being pregnant since I was being extremely cautious. I had a non-viable pregnancy my last time out so I refused to get excited this time around. I feel better today since we went in for another u/s and we heard the heartbeat. We are so excited. The last time I heard a hb it was an ectopic pregnancy but this time everything is in the right place and we saw what they tell me is the little sprout. I go back for another u/s next week. So far everything is measuring perfectly.

It will be good to have other people going through the same experiences to share with.

April - I don't have any other symptoms yet. I heard that we should get it by 6-7 weeks which in our case is pretty close. I get some dizzy spell once in awhile but that's about all. Ofcourse the bbs always there... Are you still POAS after your last 636? you need to stop torturing yourself with that POAS Good Luck on your US !

Jnails we hope we can be some assistance to you! Can't wait for my next US so I can hear my baby's heartbeat too.

Mwalls- lol the poas is the only thing keeping me sane every day. When I get up in the morning and see it is a little darker each morning I can feel secure all day and not worry about it. I figure if the baby wasnt doing well it would get lighter so makes me feel good although you would think it should be high enough by now to be as dark as the control

Hhaha... does the line for the pregnant part comes before the control now? If you are worried can't you get another beta drawn? My nurse wouldn't want to get my blood anymore, both of my arms has knot on it where she sticks me 2-3 times whenever she can't get blood in the morning so when RE said no more blood she was happier than me! LOL. Good Luck hun, I might POAS again, but my HCG has been really high from the start hopefully if my calculation is right, I will have 16,000 today. Take care! I will come and see you later.

No the control is still coming up first. Am a little concerned but not stressing over it am trying to leave it as "it is what it is". Finding out sooner won't change the facts if it is not good. I wont ask my doc for a bloodtest because re I dont think would do it and my obgyn's nurse was kinda snotty when she found out the 8/5 wasn't my first beta and asked why I came in then. When I told her I was worried and wanted a two day comparison she said well you are really worried now aren't you(I was upset that it didnt double). No more blood for me unless RE recommends it.

It looks like we are at the exact same place. I am 6w5d today and had an ultrasound yesterday with the baby measuring 6w1d with a HB of 126 bpm. I am quessing that your due date is April Fools Day? We go back for another ultrasound again next week too. They want to check and see if there has been any more progress with the second sac and to make sure there hasn't been any change with my subchorionic bleed. I hate being on bedrest!

HI ladies I would love to join this group. I was origionally on the March due date thread before this one started because I thought my due date would be around March 30th but my RE and my OBGYN dated me at April 1st so here I am.

I look forward to getting to know you guys over the next 7 or 8 months so we can all compare notes and prepare for our spring babies!

A website you might be interested in is babymed.com/tools/pregnancy/hcg/Default.aspx it is an HCG calculator that you can enter your numbers in to see if they are rising enough. They don't need to double every 48 hours but every 72 hours, they do like to see a 60% rise every 48 hours. Your last number passed the 60% and mark and you are still falling a little above average for your dpo (dpiui or dp er). I would try to relax because it seems like you have a healthy baby growing in there.

I am freaking out. I just went to the bathroom and there was lots of blood all over when I wiped. Fresh red blood. I have already called my re and am waiting for them to call me back.
