Hey all mind if I join in?! Had a little spotting scare this morning (bright red blood), but it has stopped and my beta number came back great today, so it looks like we are still rollin'!

go back Friday for another beta and then u/s on monday!!!! I can't wait!!

I added the missing names. I listed everyone in chronological order according to their due dates. U/S and Dr. appt. will change for all of us from week to week so I figured there wasn't really a good way to put us in order by what is happening next. For those of us who have already had U/S I also added how many babies we are expecting. The rest we can fill in as people have their U/S.



April- I am that you have a good beta number but don/t forget that doubling time slows down even more once you hit the thousands it can take up to 4 days to double. So don't stress out if your numbers aren't as high as you think they should be.

Mind me joining you? Just confirmed with my nurse that I am indeed Because I had a miscarrige before, I am supre nervous now. I am at 4 weeks now, and hope the rest of the 36 weeks are boring.

Okay so I thought my beta should be 2500-2600 based on the fact it was 636 on 8/3. The nurse just called and said it came back only 1515. She would not tell me whether I should worry only that it may be the difference in lab calculations or that I am losing a twin despite the bleeding stopped and my numbers were dead on average for singleton. You ladies are my friends....Be honest with me please and tell me if you think there is still realistic hope. I go back Thursday morning for another beta to compare and be sure it is rising.

April...did you get this beta done at the ob that did your "cheat" beta or at the RE that did the original first two?? Maybe a difference in machines is right. Do I think there is realistic hope? Yes, as long as the numbers are going up then yes!! You just can't know what is going on in there until the U/S.

My first 2 betas were done at labcorp the 3rd one was done at obgyn's office but they use labcorp. This one was done at the actual RE's office. I am worried but nothing I can do until Thursday go in first thing and pray that it is rising still. Ultrasound wont be until 8/20/09 but hope to see a significant rise from now to Thursday

It aint over till the fat lady sings and I don't feel like singing!!! It is still rising so that is a good sign! I obsessed over my really low numbers at first and everything is working itself out fine now. Good luck we are all pulling for you!!!

Have you passed any tissue or clots? I miscarried at almost 5 weeks last time I was pregnant and I only spotted a little but had passed tissue many times and a few small clots (TMI sorry). If you haven't passed tissue or clots, then that is a good sign.

Mary I have been on crinone since my transfer along with oral prometrium and have had no problems other than the occasional discharge on the pantyliner.

No clots and no tissue just some bright fresh blood that one time and none since. i have had some crinone clumps since that were like specks of sand dark brown in color but no more blood. The bleeding is not scaring me so much since I heard could be from crinone applicator and I did try this am to get it in farther to be sure was getting enough so am hopeful my cervix was just irritated but am worried about beta rising at a poor rate. Will be rough but just have to wait til Thursday and hope its just the difference in lab calibration and all will be great

April I'm so sorry you are going through all this stress with your beta and the bleeding. This whole experience is tough enough with all these other issues on top of it. I hate to say this but it's in God's hands now and there is nothing that you can do but try to take it easy and rest up. Your u/s will hopefully put your mind at ease. I'm for good things for you and that your numbers increase on Thursday. Oh and can I just comment on the comment that your nurse made...what was it something along the lines of "I bet your nervous now". I would have punched her in the mouth. Sometimes people say the most obnoxious things.

Stephanie thanks for putting together the list. That is great. I guess we are do on April Fools Day. I forgot about that. LOL

Maria my DH is a pro at the PIO shots as well. He only hit a vein once and left a huge bruise. Thank goodness my doctor just weaned me off of them. I'm still on endometrim 3x day.

So I haven't had any throwing up, I'm just constantly nauseous. I'm hungry and nauseous at the same time so I don't eat. Is anyone else having similar feelings? I can't take it. I also get food and then don't want it after I start to eat it. I guess everything is changing.

No clots or tissue is a good sign, and if you are no longer bleeding and no cramps then those are all good signs. Once you reach a certain point, your beta will take longer to double so don't put too much focus on that, it looks like it is going up and that is great! A lady in another forum also had bleeding and it turned out to be a disappearing twin and she has another healthy baby in there so hold out hope. While losing any is hard, having one is a huge blessing.
I have also heard about the side effects of crinone and the bleeding that can occur because of irritation; it may be that too. Even though my progesterone suppositories are irritating me, I am going to fight through it because I am scared of using crinone just because of the scare it can cause.
