all May Mommas!

I literally have no symptoms except very, very mild crampy feelings but I am SOOOOOO tired! I'm having a hard time getting home in the afternoon!

Good luck with all of the upcoming betas and u/s! I may check out for a while, I have a busy weekend coming.

Have a great labor day all!

Omg!!!

OMG, I can't believe I get to join! I am very barely pregnant. I will go for my second BETA tomorrow. My first one was only 50, I think. Should I be concerned? Still soooooooo happy to be joining you. Greg's Lady, we were in the July IUI thread together. Looks like our August ones were the trick!!!
Congrats to you all!

Carrieob,

to this thread, we will have lots to discuss as the time goes by.

Congratulations on your first Beta, sometimes the numbers skyrocket, let's for the best.

Neutronnancy, Good catch on age, by the time this thread grows I am sure we will have combination.

Well I got my second BETA results...116. My nurse practicioner said it is good. Still sounds low, but it more than doubled, and that's what she said is important.
Hope all is well with everyone and your pregnancies are going smoothly!

Yay Carrie...I'm so happy for you.

Kellly... wow, you've had 4 beta's? That's awesome. My RE only had me do 2 and then come in the end of next week for my first u/s. I wish I had another one in between so I would know what's going on. I guess I will just have to wait and see.

Hi Ladies,

May I join you? I am currently 6 weeks along. My due date is May 3rd. I had an ultra sound done a few days ago and I have one little yolk sac measuring right on target. I'll have another US done on the 14th to check for a heartbeat.
I may be the elder one here as I just turned 43 .

Even though I am a veteran of 4 pregnancies and deliveries this one has me worried the most as I am 43 years young.

It will be nice to keep up with everyones progress over the next 8 months and beyond!
I wish us all healthy pregnancies and babies

I will be doing more bloodwork on Wednesday, then bloodwork and ultrasound the following Wednesday, then bloodwork the Wednesday after that, then ultrasound the Wednesday after that. It sounded to me like they are waiting too long to do my first ultrasound. Shouldn't I be getting it this Wednesday?
As for symptoms, GOD YES!!! I have very tender breasts, and I pee every 45 minutes! They say it's from the hormones, and it will go away soon. I also feel pressure sometimes in my lower abdomen. Not exactly painful, but I can feel it.
Hope you all are feeling well.
Has anyone picked names this early?

to all the new ladies! I am having such a hard time keeping up!

We are all about to enter the barfing phase, at least that's what all of my friends with kids have been telling me. We went to a family function yesterday and the whole family knows. I was taken back by all of the people, who know what we have been through to get pregnant, are saying things like, "don't get too excited, you aren't far enough along yet." WHAT?!?! How inappropriate! You never ever say that to a woman who is pregnant! I was so upset! Then there was another family member, who shall remain nameless.. who was giving me crap about not drinking diet pop. Now, I am known for being the only person in the family who drinks diet pop. Well, I was drinking water and a discussion started about how our parents never watched what they ate and we turned out just fine. DH was no where to be found but he would have been just as p-o'ed! This person went on to say that we are too paranoid about pregnancy. I told HIM that it's not about being paranoid, it's about knowledge. We didn't have the knowledge back in the day to know that smoking and drinking martinis was bad during pregnancy. He scoffed and snickered and pretty much spent 10 minutes belittling the fact that I'm not eating soft cheese, lunchmeat, or sushi... And I asked him point blank how this effects him. How does this personally effect him and he just said because it's why kids are so spoiled....??? WHAT???
I left the room so as to not kick him in the shins!

So, I am chilling out at home with my phone off today.

I am glad dh doesn't think I'm crazy for taking care of myself while I'm pregnant!

Greg's Lady, I am sooo sorry. People can be so inconsiderate sometimes. Who the &%$$ does he think he is? That's hard to take, ESPECIALLY coming from a man. I mean seriously, WTF!?! DH and I have decided to follow all the books and magazine's suggestions on things to do and not to do. Like you said it's knowlege. I am about 110 lbs, never in my life have I ever worked out on a regular basis, I figured I didn't have to. But now I exercise 40 minutes each day at least, for the baby. I hate it, but will do what I feel is the best for my baby. We are mothers now, we don't have the luxery of being selfish and eating and doing whatever we want!

Kelly, I don't understand. You had pink what in what? I hope it's okay, whatever it is. I'm new to the pregnancy thing, so I guess I don't know all of the terms yet, but I willing to learn.
