Lilac~ I pray for some answers for you and a speedy recovery!

AFM~ I had my appt with my midwife, couldn't find the heartbeat with the doppler, but she said that is fine because my uterus is one of the most completely tipped she has come across so it is deep in my backside I guess... I just saw the baby on Tuesday so I am not worried. I really liked her though. So that was good, my husband thought she was really nice as well. Hope things start to look up. I am still cheering everyone on!

kokasmom - I'm thinking that maybe you have an early riser and a late sleeper. What time was your appointment?

Rashida - I can't imagine what you are feeling right now, probably sadness mixed with relief. Somehow your body and your little ones knew what you could physically handle and have made it easier for you. I hope everything from hereon out will be perfect!

First of all, thanks again for all the kind words, and prayers, and thoughts sent my way over the last few days and weeks. It has been really heart-warming, and makes me cry, that you all care so much about me, even though you don't know me.

I wish I could have brought you good, inspirational news. Unfortunately, the news is not good. I started mis-carrying earlier this week, and waited for my OB appt on Thursday to find out where we stood. On the plus side (and maybe you won't think this is a plus), I got to see my baby for the first time, not just an empty sac like before. It had grown to 6w6d and then stopped. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, since my RE had been unable to find anything before. But even having never seen the heartbeat, I was somehow inspired by the sight of my baby, that maybe anything is possible, that maybe one day I'll get to see that again, and this time all will be well. It was definitely the right choice for me to wait it out, even though the outcome was the same. At least I have peace of mind. My DH and I decided that I should do the D&C in order to spare myself any more paint (the miscarriage was very unpleasant, and would apparently get worse) and my OB fit me in within 1/2 an hour. The only thing I'm upset about is that I didn't think to ask, and they didn't suggest, getting the tissue tested for abnormalities. I left a message with the OB within 1/2 of hour of leaving and never heard back. I'm sure it's too late now, and I'm very upset about it. Anyway, I guess I just need to move on.

I'll keep popping in to see how you're all doing, although my posting will probably slow down. I hope you all understand. We are going to focus on completing an adoption within the next 6 months or so, and I'll keep you posted on our progress.

Leora, I feel so sorry you didn't see the heart beat but I'm happy you were able to see your little angel. It seems like your baby was also hoping and trying hard to grow.
