Daney, CONGRATS!!! You are almost in 4th month. Time goes fast.
Shelly, I hope it's only expanding uterus, which sometimes can reffer pian to low back and create some cramps. that I'm right.
MIZAustin, some pregnancies can cause difficulties controling the urination. In my case it also happens but it's very minor problem and rare.
AFM, I wrote recently about my anxiety regarding long break since last RE visit till first OB visit, as well as about questionable blood work results. Then I was thinking to just arrange appoitment with RE but they really coudn't see me and I understood their explanation. Yesterday, I red about fetal heart doppler monitor and right away I decided to purchase it because it wasn't too expensive and cost me as much as going to ER. I got my monitor today, and both of us me and DH started to use it. It showed beautiful strong HR ranging from 176 to 180. I was relieved. I know it's probably not the best week to share happy news but I also hope that my result will give more hope that even when you don't have a symptoms you still might be pregnant. I just hope that I'm not too excited and I didn't get false result.
Does any of you had an experience with inaccurate home doppler reading?
Wish all of you healthy pregnancy and the ledies who lost their angels - please recover fast and realize you comming plans fast.

Ladies for those of you that purchased a fetal doppler where did you get them? I don't want to spend a fortune and it seems they have them from $20 up to $600. I am just past 9 weeks so I wonder if I will be able to hear my babies heartbeats. Any info from all of you would be so appreciated.

Leora...I am so sorry to hear that things did not work out for you. I was thinking about you all week praying that there would be good news but it just was not meant to be. I hope that you are finding peace somehow during these difficult days. I know the pain is raw right now but I promise you it will get better. When I lost my baby at 8 weeks I thought I would never get past it but with God's help the pain did lessen. You will be an absolutely wonderful mother be it biologically or thru adoption. Remember biology does not make a good mother and the child you and your husband adopt will be so very lucky. You will be in my prayers always.

TxTinkerbell, I purchased FDA APPROVED fetal heart doppler monitor and I'm happy with it. Check on the web sites and the reviews before you buy. There are few web sites they have them and the price ranges from 60 to 70 for 3 MHz. I know that there are some controversies regarding doppler use at home, so it's worth to read some info before buying. I'm happy I bought it because I had no problem finding heart beat (I'm 10weeks and 1 day) and recognizing it from other noises.

Rossmary, this is the perfect time to report happy news!!

I have an u/s on monday so I'm just taking it easy... and focused on staying positive till then... that's how I started this pregnancy, and if that's how the cookie crumbles, I'll end this pregnancy just as positive.

MIZAustin, it's a little too early to be amniotic fluid, so I wouldn't worry in that regard. It could very possibly have just been urine (happened to me with Little D, too... and I went to the hospital... boy, did I feel foolish when they told me I just peed myself.)... it could also have been discharge... you'll have lots and lots of that til June... *sigh* Isn't pregnancy just the sexiest time in a woman's life??

Tink - I bought a doppler last pregnancy for around $120... it was a Bebe... I loved it... just a great experience with it and I highly recommend it. Here's the link: Hi Bebe BT-200 Fetal Doppler / Heart Rate Monitor - FREE Shipping!

Daney - Happy 12th week!!

Leora~ I am praying for you to heal quickly. I am so sorry it wasn't better news. I am praying for a speedy adoption. You and your baby will be so blessed!

Shelly~ During this time the baby really starts to grow faster, I am hoping it is just your uterus stretching out a bit. I am so glad you are staying positive. I am anxious for your good news on Monday!

Daney~ 12 weeks!!! Yay!

MizAustin~ It was probably just some pee, or maybe it was discharge. Great sign you don't have any cramps! You are probably just fine. Weird stuff happens when you're pregnant!

12 weeks today!

First: For the ladies that have had bad news this past week, I am for a smooth recovery and I am so sorry for your losses.

AFM; I am 12 weeks today. I have an OB appointment on Tues. I am excited and nervous. It has been 4 weeks since my last appointment. DH has to work, so I am bringing my mom with me. I just didnt' want to go alone. My nausea has pretty much subsided, now the heartburn and indigestion has taken over. Anyone know of any remedies for those besides Tums? Tums doesn't seem to be working very well.

Leora-I just wanted to say how very sorry I am that THIS pregnancy didnt work for you. I emphasize THIS pregnancy because I know you will be a mother one day soon and you will be an amazing mother. I know we have all prayed for you and we will continue to do so. Please check in with us when you can, and let us know the progress with the adoption or IF process. Best of luck to you and your dh. I think everyone will agree with me--you are an inspiring woman and good things will come to you!

Daney and NTP-Congrats on 12 weeks thats amazing!! wooo hooo!

Tink-I have kosh's doppler and it is good. I found a 10% off coupon thru retailmenot.com Look there and see what you can find.
I bought it with my last pregnancy, but I dont remember when I heard the heartbeat. I tried last night and couldnt pick it up, but I did hear the placenta noises clear as day.

MizzAustin-Im not sure what you had but I bet it was either sometype of discharge (ick I really hate that word) or I agree a weird pee. We are producing some serious hormones and your body really does some weird things..let us know what your OB says. I always take a list of questions with me so I wont forget anything.

Ginger-It was me that mentioned the Green Tea. I learned it from my "well pregnancy" nurse that I get with my insurance company. Green Tea isnt bad for the baby, she just mentioned that it could negate your prenatal vitamins. She said to stay clear of products such as Green Tea and things labled "antioxidant". Dont worry too much. Im sure you have to drink alot of green tea to negate your vitamins!!

AFM-DH and I are going to the MFM tomorrow morning to check on baby "B". I pray all is ok with him/her. I feel dramatically different since we've lost the twin. My appetite has diminished drastically and I havent had even 1 day of nausea. Im just hoping that from now on it this will be a long and uneventful pregnancy like with my ds. I NEVER had any sickness with him, so I just hope all is well in there....I also havent had any bleeding whatsoever so I think that may be a good sign too. --It has to be, right??? I'll let you know what happens as soon as I get back.

For those of you that havent sent Kosh an email, please do! We want lots of secret santa participation!! I had a hard time with the questions, so I just told her a summertime footed pjs would be great. (I have all winter time baby clothes). Im grateful for anything to come in the mail! I just love packages! They are so much fun!!! Send Kosh an email!!!!
