ok ladies, i have a really stupid question. they gave me an estimated due date of july 3. So, when you say you are 5 weeks, are you technically done with the 5th week or beginning the 5th week?

If you are 5 weeks, 0 days prego than you have just finished your 5th week...right? My suggestion is to get a ticker and let that thing do the math for you! ha! : )

Josie-My miscarriages were a result of a genetic mutation I have (MTHFR). I do not absorb folic acid and b6 and 12 properly so that leads to blood clots. Please try not to stress yourself out over the possibility of a miscarriage. Your numbers look great so try and enjoy yourself! Also, you can eat seafood but you would want to stay away from those fish high in mercury (i.e. swordfish). You can easily google it and find out which one's you should avoid. There are more you can eat than you can't. But I still wouldn't eat seafood everyday as most fish have some mercury content.

Ibzg-Congratulations!!!! When they say you are 5 weeks that is the beginning. So if you are 5 weeks today tomorrow you would be 5 weeks 1 day and so on and so forth.

Dawners - Thanks for the reassurance! I keep waiting for the phone call that says this is all just a joke and my dreams aren't really coming true, you know? Now that you are under the care of an RE, is the RE taking action to make sure you get the B-Vitamins that you need? How did you get diagnosed with this condition? I have actually never heard of it before...

Josie-After the two losses I went in and got an RPL (recurrent pregnancy loss) workup and it was one of the blood tests they did. Since I've been diagnosed (May 09) I take a MEGA dose of folic acid (the norm is 400mcg and I take 5mg) and B vitamins as well as baby aspirin. I have also been doing acupuncture and herbs since May too. Hoping all of this helps us carry this one to term.

Ryles - Hang in there. The tww is the most difficult part of the journey. I had to poas... 3 times! I figured if it came out positive then I could breath a little easier untill beta time and if it was negative then I would be prepared for the news. I know I'm way ahead of this group but I like reading around the forums and thought I could give an encouraging word. Good Luck!

Congrats on twins. I cant believe there's a July due date buddies now. I love seeing each new month pop up. I think a lot of the girls in my month saw heartbeats about 7 weeks or so. I dont know if you can hear them on the u/s machine if it has speakers or what. I heard my baby's HB for the first time at 12 weeks. Good luck with ur pregnancy.

Hey there ladies! I just got a call from my RE to confirm that we are pregnant! DP and I so very excited. We are still waiting to have the next two blood draws (11/2 and 11/4) to make sure the numbers are climbing, but I thought I would join this thread in the mean time. We have 9 more months of things to talk about, and who better to discuss them with than someone who is going through them too!

Josie - Hi ya girl! You are right, it is cool to be getting in on the beginning of a new thread! I still have 4 pages of reading to do though!
