Payton - I love those flowers. Those are perfect.

Kam - Yay! You are 28 weeks! Ok, two weeks ago you wrote that 28 weeks was your short-term goal. What's the next one - I want to cheer for you!

Janet - glad you had a good appt, but wow, I bet you are tired. Having full responsibility for a 2 year old at this stage? Hope you sleep well and rest up.

Elisabeth - I did mention restaurants. I was really not a fan of the food while in China (it's super duper greasy) and for non-Chinese you see Pizza Hut and KFC EVERYWHERE. So, anyway, I wanted something more upscale and this restaurant was nice. It is a beautiful restaurant and has a see-through roof where you can see the lights of Shanghai which is cool. Kathleen's5 Rooftop Restaurant &Bar It's also nice for afternoon cocktails in their lounge area. If he ends up in Beijing, I've got a really good one, just let me know!

AFM - Girls, I have so many exciting things to tell!

First of all, I just got back from dinner w/ my parents, my sis and BIL. And, at the toast, my sister announced that she is PREGNANT! I knew they were trying, but I laid off asking about it the past few weeks in case she had the same crappy infertile experience as me, but she didn't! She is just out and out pregnant naturally and I am just beyond thrilled. She's six weeks and nervous as all get out, but her first u/s is next week and then I think that she will feel better. I'm so excited!

Also, I had my u/s and my babes are excellent! B is in the 60th percentile and A is 53% and they're both just over 2 pounds. They said that since B is bigger I will only do a vaginal birth if they're both head down. Also, I passed glucose with flying colors. I was 104 and they look for 140 and over. They said I could have all the sugar I want (yay ice cream!). My iron is low of course and my dad was concerned, but I think I'm just fine. The only bad thing was that I gained 6 pounds since last Friday. That was NOT fun to hear.

The other piece of good news is that my glider is in my nursery and I am in LOVE. It is so fun! And my cribs came today and we're going to have a crib-putting-together-party on Saturday and then I will take pictures and show you guys what I have.

So, that's my info for the evening. If you can't tell, I'm just over the moon tonight! I'm sending happy thoughts to all of you tonight as well!

Becca- I need to post a picture of my garden. You gals will get a good laugh. Congrats to your sister; I hope it goes well. It would be neat to have cousins close in age. My 2 sisters have twins and a singleton within 2 yrs of my triplets and we always sat the Gang together at Thanksgiving etc. lol DD ended up making a round cake and adding rice crispies for head, top of body etc It wasn't much of a "party"; we just had Applebees Carside to go and 3 cakes. Chloe seemed confused about why we had cake after cake after cake! No jealousy at this age, of course.

Eliz- yeah on the practice breaths! Clearly it depends if the baby is in the mood to do it. I just get so nervous cause I could deliver any time now so Twin A needs to figure it out and do a bit more practicing! Clearly she isn't the one to sign up for piano lessons if she's going to procrastinate practicing like this.

Kam- 28 weeks is great! Now the big 3-0?! How are the contrax now?

Payton- Love, love, love the flowers! I can't wait to see your finished room! Your ER story sounded like mine a couple months ago - contrax stopped soon after arriving. My BP was still high so at least I felt validated! Oh, my biophysical yesterday was done by a first year resident (started in July)! The nurse was telling her what to do. Can you say guinea pig? I was the second set of twins she'd ever done. The nurse sometimes took the wand and showed her how to do it. I was glad it was only a non-invasive biophysical being done because it was Labor Day, not because there was a problem suspected. I just had a full u/s Monday so I'm not too worried.

Jody- Dove ice cream bars have a lot of fat and helped me gain weight for the triplets. I know what you mean about the one time in life people are telling you to eat and you can't. So TOTALLY can relate!

Amy- be sure to take a picture of the Belly right at the end! It will be all of our goals to match /beat it. Wonder who on this thread will beat your 37 week record? She's set the bar high ladies!

ok, need to try to get back to sleep. Another full day tomorrow with no teenage helpers available. DH should get back sooner than 9 pm though.

Hi ladies!

Jody, good idea about the ice cream/protein milkshakes. That is actually what I did in the first trimester when we still had both babies. It definitely helped me with the pound per week goal. In fact I am up 30 lbs at 25 weeks, ugh.

Janet, I'm glad I'm not the only one who had that experience with the contractions! You are a patient lady with your ultrasound yesterday! I am hopeful both of your girls are on track.

Becca, congrats about your sister and all of the happy news!

Elizabeth, what kind of mattress did you order? I'm still on the hunt for one!

AFM - Thanks everyone for the flower decal comments! I can't wait to see them!

Regarding practice breaths, Miss Bee was going nuts last Thursday. I have two pictures of her with her mouth totally wide open and in the second one it appears she is scrunching her little face up. The on Monday she kept her mouth closed.

I think I have an ear infection....going to see the doctor at 10am today. Oh, and congrats to Bee for making it to 25 weeks today!
