Hi Ladies!

I just got my today and wanted to find others that are close to EDD of August 12, 2013!

I'm still in shock that this has happened for me. Still trying to comprehend!

Can't wait to start this journey with others!

MJS - I thought I'd come join you!! I hope we get some other buddies in here soon, but I know it's early. I know some are hesitant to join until they get a little farther along. I joined my last one before my m/c but I found the support so valuable so I'm joining right away again. I just got my BFP this morning at 13dpIUI. Going by my LMP, my due date would be August 24th, but if you go by my IUI date, it would be August 21st (my birthday!)...so sometime in the 3rd week of August is what I'm aiming for!

I haven't had any b/w yet...I'm going to wait until tomorrow. My HPT test line was nice and dark though, compared to previous BFP and m/c cycles when they've been pretty faint at this point.

How are you feeling? Any symptoms yet?

Hi Ladies,

Congratulations on your to both of you. I'll also would like to join you (although there is another thread already and they are amazing women too).

Anyways, you can probably know a bit more by reading my signature.

I'm currently 5 weeks and 5 days . I must say I'm excited but at the same time I'm so scared. Tomorrow, I go for my 1st official u/s. I can't tell you how nervous and anxious I feel about seeing a yolk, heartbeat etc..

As of know my due date was Aug 08, 2013 BUT it might change to July 17, 2013 since they saw two sacs. So I might be expecting twins! I hope I can still join you and we can walk together through our milestones.

Alexis - Hi! I didn't see another thread on here for August. Are you referring to the IVF Due Date buddies for August? I've been lurking over there as that seems like an active group but as I'm not an IVFer, I feel this is where I should post. The first u/s is so exciting and nerve-wracking...at 6 weeks you might not see a hb so don't be worried if you don't. I hope everything measures perfectly for both of your little ones! Good luck!

hi there, i'm new to this site but have been reading the threads all along the process!!!
I am a gestaional surrogate for the second time(two different couples)!!!! this was our second IVF attempt and they had no more eggs on ice.....THANK GOODNESS it worked!!!! NOW big question......TWINS????

The other Aug post is by Kappoheno, you might be right IVF vs not. Anyways, glad to be here too with all your great ladies. Hope you ladies don't mind I'm an IVFer.

Yes, I'm extremely nervous because I've been reading too many negative stories regarding embryos that stop growing between 6-8 weeks. I just want a heartbeat so I can feel relieved.

it's so hard when you read the sad stories but just remember that you want good strong babies....not just a positive pregnancy..... fingers crossed and prayers said that all our babies are stong and healthy!!!

pamelacakes - Congratulations to you and the couple you are carrrying for!! How exciting. Your number definitely looks like it could be twins!! With my son, that's probably about where my level was 14dpo.

Lexis - Yes, that's the IVF board. This one catches everyone, IVF or not...we certainly don't mind one way or the other...the more the merrier! My 2010 DD group was a mix of IVF, IUI, and some natural/at-home pregnancies so it was a bit of everything. We're all still friends on FB so these groups can be great for bonding and keeping in touch even after babies arrive. I just know that they set up the IVF due date board so that those who cycled together (and others who did IVF) can have a place together. Makes total sense to me!! I'd say if you are off to a good start with your pregnancy (good levels, no spotting), you are probably in a good place. With both of my miscarriages (one at 6wk and one at 8wk), I had a bad feeling from the start. My levels were low and not doubling. I did see a hb with my second m/c but it was very slow at 86bpm at 7wks. My philosophy is to try not to worry until they tell me I should worry...definitely easier said than done. Best to you!

AFM, b/w is scheduled for 8 AM tomorrow...they usually call before lunch time so I'm hoping to have results early in the day so less driving myself nuts worrying.

yeah, they were really shocked when i came up with a BFP at4dp5dt in the am.......i can't believe they agreed to do my first beta so soon...normally they do them 14days out....
i have another beta on 12/13 (18dpo)
my last pregnancy was 752 on that day and it was a singleton 5d fresh transfer of two perfect blasts

I can officially say that I got my finally!!!!!!!! After 3 years of trying and being told 2 months ago our only option was ivf we were finally able to concieve! And we did it on our own! I am so excited that this finally happened for us.

Congratulations!! How exciting!! Did you just get your BFP today? Have you had any bloodwork done yet?
