M&M - We're thinking of you today. Just picture all of us holding hands! If you can, post this afternoon. I'm so glad DH will be with you.

Boston - No water. Those are not fun days. The good news is it sounds like they are working on plumbing.... is all the framing done already? That's too quick. They must be moving a line somewhere. The kitchen at my rehab house started small but we did an addition to it. It's actually even bigger than the picture looks but I wanted to do two photos from the same angle. The final dimensions were 27' L x 19' W. Thus the big island...

Cat - I love the mint ice cream for breakfast! I'm sure it was delicious and the baby is loving it. I haven't been that brave yet but did have DH make pancakes yesterday. I think the cookie dough ice cream would be fine. I'm sure there is a hotline on the container you could call to ask if it's really raw. With all the food cases you hear lately and recalls, I'm really doubting that there are raw eggs in there. Kind of like caesar salad. If you buy a dressing at the store that is mass produced, there are no raw eggs but at a local small restaurant there probably are raw eggs.

Thanks, Maybebaby and Peachy! Hopefully I can sleep in my own bed tonight!

Peachy - you're right, it's too soon for plumbing work. We have well water and where, exactly, the well is was a mystery because it was sunk over 50 years ago and has since been graded over. Well, come to find out, the lines from the well to our house snaked all under the garage foundation we had to rip up. Whoever built the house was too lazy to move large rocks out of the way so the line ran back and forth between the rocks under the founation. Well, they accidentally cut the line the other day and patched it...so it was working fine. But, yesterday the line got blocked...all the turmoil must have caused something to get stuck in the line. So, no water. I am SOOO excited to be switching to town water instead of well water!!! It will be wonderful to be able to still flush the toilets when we lose electricity (we don't have a generator so, no electricity meant no water too whenever there was a bad storm). We'll just keep the well for irrigation....and now we at least know where the well is! hahaha

Wow....that was a long (and boring) story! hahaha

That is one big kitchen Peachy...heavenly!!

MM- Thinking of you today and hoping all goes well. I read your post, whew girl!! Where do you get your energy?? Making lists, sending them out, posting on this thread & knitting!! Whatever you are on could you please bottle it up for me & FedEx it? I am in desperate need of some of it.

Boston- I was the one who posted about the belly hairs and then when no one said anything about it I thought "Dang, I am the only one!!". Thanks, I feel better now. I just pluck them when I go see my cute ob/gyn. hehe
What a mess with the plumbing. I hope you don't have to sleep in your in-law's basement again tonight.

Dh is on a business trip till tomorrow. Doggies love it because we all sleep together when he is gone. We live it up over here at our house!

Oh Nathalie - I have the dark tummy hairs too! I swear, it started as soon as I found out I was pregnant! Its so embarassing...and, since I naturally have dark hair to begin with I think that just makes it worse! Oh well...everyone tells me it falls out after you have the baby/babies...I sure hope so!

Cat - I bought Paige Denim capris and a pair of jeans, and then a pair of Citizens of Humanity maternity jeans. Hope that helps!! Both are pretty comfortable, but they stretch out a lot so beware of that!

hey liz, i did some searching and found this on fda.gov US FDA/CFSAN - Food Safety for Moms to Be: Safe Eats - Dairy & Eggs

"Is store-bought cookie dough ice cream safe to eat?"
Yes, it's made from specially-produced cookie dough that's pasteurized, so eat on!"

And I also found something that said the only ice cream you need to avoid is homemade ice cream because sometimes people use raw eggs in that....
