Havana -- I promise I'm not using any depillatories (sp?) like Nair, I was just being funny -- teehee. I'm like you, I'll just make fun of it and pluck the occasional one that is dark and scary! I'm sending you another
 for your moony-sappyness. Seriously, you live too far away otherwise we'd be BFF.  And yes, my nails are growing like mad. I keep them super short so I'm cutting them all the time. I even bought a pair of nail clippers for my desk at work. Icky, I know but I really needed them! Joy -- Thanks for welcoming me into the girls club and for your well wishes! You can't believe how excited I am. In addition to being a total shopping addict (I know you're very shocked about this) I'll also inherit my two nieces' barely used (some never even worn) designer wardrobe including shoes! My sister's been saying she would cry buckets if I was having a boy because she couldn't part with the clothes for anyone else.  Gotta love sisters. I can just imagine all three of your little girls in matching True Religion jeans and Twisted Heart hoodies...so cute I can hardly stand it. Thank you everyone for your well wishes and for watching over me and my piglet. We are very fortunate to have such a wonderful group of friends. MM

So happy!2nd u/s 6/7 - hb 170, meas. 17mm  3rd u/s 6/15 - 174bpm, 27mm graduated to OB  7/25 amnio 8/7 - amnio results - perfect, thank God. And, It's a BOY! 9/3 - echocardiogram - everything's fine, whew! 10/31 - passed glucose test!

Opps... I forgot we have Joy's girls in our female club too. So, Joy and MaggieMay for the frilly dresses! I'm really starting to believe those of us with ICSI are going to be looking for plaid shirts for our boys.

Glad that everything went well for you.JustPeachy- I had ICSI too, wonder if mine is a boy. Hmmmmmmm... I did NOTHING all day except read a Jodi Picoult Book. I am almost done though. So maybe that is an accomplishment. Nat

MM - I am so glad that your appt went well!!! Phew!! And how exciting...we have another girl in the group!!
My nails are growing like crazy too...usually they break and peel easily but they're wonderful now! Thanks for the wishes of a good night's sleep....unfortunately, I didn't sleep well last night.  I don't know why. I am taking tomorrow off from work so I am hoping I can get some extra rest in the midst of the construction!!

Morning, Girls!
I can't believe we haven't talked about this yet (especially since we've talked about everything under the sun), but does anyone have names picked out? We've had names picked out for what seems like forever! For a daughter, (which it would appear we are having ) we've picked Charlotte Sue. Sue is my DH's sister's name. If any of you don't like our name or know someone you don't like with this name, please don't tell me!  I know many people don't like to share their names or keep it a secret until the baby's born, so don't feel like you have to join in. Joy -- you get to do this, like everything else, three times over!Boston -- I am so glad that you are taking a day off to catch up on sleep. I've found that ever since I got pregnant, if I don't get enough sleep, I get a monster headache. Take care of yourself!!!

MM - I like the name Charlotte!! For some reason that name popped into my head yesterday! DH and I haven't really talked about names yet...we're waiting to see if we're having a boy or a girl because we think deciding on one name will be difficult enough -- never mind thinking about names for both genders!!
My dad is cute -- he just called me from work to warn me that it's going to be very humid for the next few days and that I have to make sure I stay hydrated and stay in the air conditioning. I think maybe he feels a little left out because I'm going to spend the day with my mom on Saturday and we're going to look at baby stuff.

I don't find out the gender till Aug. 15th... we've had our girl's name picked out for a while but are just starting to think of some boy options. It's tradition to name the baby after a relative that has passed away. Plus, my DH is French Syrian so we've been trying to think of some names that could go both ways. So, if I'm shocked at the next u/s at it's a girl, we're doing Annabelle after my grandmother Ann and my great grandmother Bella. Not sure about a middle name yet.
