Havana - I love your u/s picture!!! I'm going to have to figure out how to scan mine in!

Sunny and Designdiva - everything will work out! Just try to stay positive and turn to these forums for support...they are always so helpful to me!

Liz - that's amazing that at 9 weeks they are moving around! We are at exactly the same stage...I will be 10 weeks on Thurs! I'm dying to have my next u/s so I can see how much the babies have changed since week 8.

Had the worst m/s this morning yet. It was awful. I thought things might improve this week, but so far its not looking so good. Counting the days until 13 weeks!

Havanajims - You're u/s picture is amazing. It's so cool that you can see the arm buds!

Justpeachy - I am having some fast doubling. The doubling time between the 1st and second was 30 hours and the doubling time between the 2nd and 3rd was slower at 39 hours. They say that the doubling time isn't a good indicator of multiples, just the overall higher number. I keep trying to find people pregnant with multiples who had IUIs to compare, but I haven't seen many yet. It's unlikely that I have multiples because I only had 2 mature follicles and no others that were even close. I would love to have twins. I'm not sure I could handle triplets (yikes!), primarily because mine and hubby's parents don't live in this part of the country, but twins would be awesome.

I'm very jealous of y'all that are having multiples.

Maybebaby - That's some awesome info! Thanks for posting it. It was exactly what I was looking for. :-)

lizandted - I was feeling a lot of pangs on my sides too - very similar to cramps. They have seemed to lessen the past few days. Good to hear that it's normal.

Someone mentioned buying baby stuff the other day and I realized that it hadn't yet occurred to me that soon I'd have to buy baby stuff! I think it is because my husband and I sold our condo over 2 months ago and ever since they we've been living in my brother-in-law's 600 sq ft condo with our 4 cats while we search for a house. (haven't found one yet - my poor brother-in-law.) So I don't have most of my clothes or any of my stuff. It's all packed! I don't even have 1 pair or shorts for summer. I can't wait to find a house and be able to start a nursery. (I keep telling myself not to get ahead of myself, but it's awfully exciting!)

I can't wait until my u/s on Friday!

My doubling time was 1.27 days, and I have one baby. I've also heard that it is the size of the number, not the doubling time that indicates multiples.
Also, I only had one follicle so I basically knew that if it wasn't identical twins then it would be one

Joy - I want to see the triplets!! What a great u/s. Are the identicals right next to each other? I'll have to see if I can scan in my u/s tomorrow.

Liz - what an exciting u/s for you! It only gets more fun from here.

Amzippity - Guess we'll just have to wait and see. As my nurses kept telling me, you've got one good and healthy one with those strong doubles.

Maybebaby - What's for dinner tonight? I wish someone was cooking for me. Did you hold up ok today with the bedrest? Sounds like you have some tv series recommendations to start working on.

Robin - Thanks for the hospital class suggestions. I checked out my delivery hospital today and found all sorts of interesting classes.

So true. My whole life I've wanted twins, so it's hard to get it out of my mind. I'm very very happy, though, just to have one in there.

Amzippity - you sound just like me at the moment. We are in the middle of finalizing our house sale and are currently living in the middle of a renovation bomb-site (we bought a little fixer-upper) with all our stuff packed in boxes. I can't find anything! We don't even have a usable kitchen! So like you I am anxious to have both the pregnancy AND the house situation hurry up and move ahead so I can start to prepare it all. (Bring on the shopping!! ) In the meantime I am reading this forum and absorbing all your words of wisdom like a sponge.

As for the ultrasounds, after my last kind of depressing one, I'm not really wanting another one for awhile. Yet my doctor wants me to have one next week. Argh. I'm not sure if I should wait until I'm at least 8 or 9 weeks, then maybe I can see some movement like LizandTeds little bean. Do any of you think its better to wait until later? Or should I just get it over with next week? (I'll be about 7 weeks by then).

I'm happy to hear I'm not the only one that was crazy enough to enter into an uncertain/stressful living situation during this time! We have a large renovation/addition project that is supposed to be starting soon...we've been working with the architect for 2 1/2 years so we're eager to start....but now I'm concerned about everything and how the stress may impact the pregnancy. The project is supposed to take 9 -12 months to complete and we'll have to move out for some of that time. How are you coping with it?

DesignDiva,
I know that everyone is differnt, but we couldnt see the baby very well at 7 weeks. They scared me to death when they couldnt see the heartbeat very well. At 8 weeks the baby had grown significantly (that's the u/s picture I posted) and the heartbeat was very easily seen. Now most people have their u/s at 7 weeks, but for me it was a bit early. Hope that helps!! Let us know what you decide!

DesignDiva - I couldn't believe the difference between our 6, 7 & 8 week u/s. There is such a big difference week to week...especially when they just go from a tiny yoke sac to having a full on heartbeat with a head, arms and legs. You'll have to let us know what you decide!

I'll have to figure out how to post my u/s pic. Our dumb printer/scanner has been acting up. Need to get a new one! Yes, the identicals are sharing a sac and are pretty close to each other. The fraternal is just hanging out in its own sac...kinda feel sorry that its all on its own.

I'm so glad to hear we aren't the only ones who are moving, etc. soon. We have decided to move back to Indianapolis to be closer to our families. 3 babies made us realize that we would need their support. So, we're trying to sell our house in Chicago and find a rental in Indy to live in while our home is being built. Lots going on! We are all going to be major stress cases by the end of these pregnancies!
