YEAH, the board is back up.
Joy- I was going to send you a PM this morning if you didn't post! So glad to hear from you and that all babies look okay. I'm sorry that you're still fainting but glad that they think it's nothing more than a baby on a nerve- hopefully that baby will move some- maybe you need to drink some caffeine and get those girls moving When my friend's twins were in the nicu, they actually gave them caffeine regularly to keep them stimulated -- isn't it funny that you hear stuff about limiting caffeine when ttc and such but then they give premies caffeine? MM- I was thinking about your test results this am and hoping you get them back a little early and they're great! Are they also telling you for sure that it's a girl? Cuz they can do that w/ an amnio... I don't think mine results will be back till friday at the earliest. Peachy - LOVE the circles, in fact, I think those would be a fun upgrade to dd's room. MM- your link didn't work, can you resend? I've read the same thing about plush bumpers not being the safest, but I always made sure to postion dd on her back and in the middle of the crib. When she was tiny, I did have a little sleep positioner but she didn't move that much until she was a bit older and then we'd find her completely reversed in her crib. I've tried taking the bumper out a couple times (generally messes don't make it as far as the bumper except when you have the joy of a little girl vomiting), but whenever i try to let her sleep w/out it, she wakes up a LOT because she moves around so much in her sleep, she ends up w/ her head pressed against the wood and banging it there as she moves in her sleep. So, for us, the bumper is still in. I have it so it goes down against the mattress at the sides so that it doesn't stick out too much above the mattress and i've had the mattress at the lowest position ever since she could stand in the crib. It seems to work for us. Every child's different and you have to do what feels right to you and what works best for yours My only advice regarding washing the bumper - be careful how you put it in the washer and dryer, try to basically make a cylinder of it wrapped, otherwise the bumper shape can get messed up. 2 things to add to the list: 1 some sort of toy that attaches to the baby carrier to amuse baby during carrides & shopping trips: Amazon.com: Tiny Love Musical Take-Along Arch - Hippo: Baby links- not only are these a great toy eventually, but they can all link together and you attach a toy to the other end and attach the one end to stroller or baby carrier so when baby throws a toy in the mall, it doesn't actually end up on the floor! Toys "R" Us - Ring-A-Links

Try this...Wall to Wall Stencils and then in the search box put "dots." They big pink ones on the green wall were the ones I trited to send originally. No idea why the link isn't working! And yes, they are telling us for sure that it's a girl...it better be because there is a closet full of pink and lavender!!!!

Let me start my post by saying the baby is fine....
but, I spent the night in the hospital. Urgh. I woke up at 4am and something didn't feel right. To be frank, I felt like I was leaking. I got out of bed and my panties were soaked in blood, with more coming out, and a clot. So, I immediately got my heartbeat monitor. Thank g-d for that contraption. I found the babies heartbeat right away but knew this amount of blood could not be normal. I called my OB and left a message and she called me back within 5 minutes and told me to go straight to the hospital (after I apologized profusely for waking her). My OB met me there within the hour and was great the whole time. They found the baby's heartbeat right away too with their doppler and brought in the u/s. We could see the baby moving around and they hooked me up to monitors to check for contractions. Thankfully lots of cramping but no contractions. They checked my cervix and it's closed and also checked the fluids leaking to make sure it wasn't amniotic fluid. All good. So then we just had to wait until the perinatologist opened in the hospital at 8am to go for the high tech u/s. The great news is the baby is measuring a week ahead and is definitely a BOY. Bad news is Mom has full blown placenta previa with the placenta completely covering my cervix. There is a chance that it will still move. The doctors will make a decision at 30 weeks. Otherwise, I'll be scheduled for a c-section at 36 weeks which is fine with me. I am back on my modified bed rest and go back to the OB tomorrow and the perinatologist in 2 weeks. The only concern my OB has is if this bleeding keeps up. She said after about the 4th emergency trip to the hospital they'll most likely make the call to just keep me at the hospital on bed rest there for the rest of the pregnancy. Please may that not happen. Bed rest at home is about all I can get my head around right now.Sorry for the long post. It was a long night and we just got home. DH had to go to work (1st of the month means inventory of all the wine in the restaurant for him) so Mom is keeping me company - and all of you!!

Peachy- I am SO glad that baby is okay, and that you are back home. SUCH a scary experience! I'm sorry about the placenta previa-- we will do our best to keep you and Joy occupied for the next 18-19 weeks while you guys are resting! Please stay in bed as much as possible! I've got my fingers crossed that the placenta moves up some soon, but in the meantime, take it easy!
And now that you know you're definately having a boy, time to start ordering on the internet- crib and bedding and creating your registry! And I bet Havana will do some foot work for you into stores if you need it (yes, havana, i'm volunteering you!)

Hi Ladies! You are all very welcome! (regarding the chart)
My appointment went well. He’s really nice and we like him right away, it didn’t hurt that he told me I looked 10 years younger! We did blood work and listened to the baby’s heartbeat. I will have an ultrasound in 2 weeks and I will see him every month. He said I appeared to be bigger than 4 months but he said my pelvis and hips are very narrow so I’m “popping out” more. But I feel very comfortable with him- he was a good choice!Oh Peachy I’m so sorry you had such a scare, I’m glad the baby is fine! Sorry to hear about the placenta previa. You need to take it really easy now! Hopefully you won’t have to be in the hospital Havana- Have a great time with your mom! Maggie May- I’m glad the luncheon went great! I am still praying for you & your peanut! Joy- What a relief that everything came back looking normal! I hope everyone is doing great!!

PEACHY!!!! Oh my goodness. Thank you so much for prefacing it by saying you and baby are fine otherwise I would've really freaked out reading your message. How terrifying but Thank God everything is alright. Please keep us posted with every single detail. We are all
for you that your placenta moves and you won't have to be on hospitalized bedrest for the rest of your pregnancy. I am grateful you have a terrific OB who was there for you when you really needed her to be! Sending you and baby many hugs.

Being from Oregon the home of Nike, she does have a pair of those already too. I also LOVE Bobux crib shoes....cuter than Robeez I think!
