Some of you are definitely getting a good jump on all the options. I finally made my OB appt. for my 12 week check up this week. My OB uses the hospital known as the baby factory here in Atlanta! Did you bring your DH/DP to your first OB appt? Or is it mostly just paperwork and family history questions?

I'm still having a rough time over here and over analyzing everything suddenly. I was so calm before too. So, my stomach is much smaller than it was 2 weeks ago. The "starving" sensation is gone and I'm not having to wake up in the middle of the night to pee anymore. I can't decide what is "normal" anymore. I'm sure a lot of the lack of symptoms is related to being back to a singleton pregnancy but has anyone else had reduced symptoms toward the 9 week marker? Sorry for the nervous nelly over here. You can be honest if your symptoms are still there I'm just crazy all of a sudden! Poor DH.

Peachy, I think after going through ivf, most women analyze everything and then you had the horrible experience of losing one baby. hang in there, your other little bean has a strong heartbeat and is growing well and needs you....

Peachy, my doctor mentioned to me that the symptoms will come and go and then probably disappear for good once your body is adjusted to the increased amount of progesterone and HCG in your system. Being in the ninth week, and maybe because you were pregnant with twins, your body is very easily able to cope with the lower hormones....which would explain the lack of symptoms. So you see, it can be a good sign...it probably just means you're moving into the 'I'm really pregnant-this is gonna stick' zone'...not just the annoying earlier weeks of 'I wish I would hurry up and look pregnant so I can tell people why I'm so distracted' zone we are all still in!

Oh, and Sunny, I am completely there with you with the general feeling of worry and resignation, thinking its all hopeless. However, I also know that once they see even a slow flicker of heartbeat that the 'little' guy has a pretty good chance of making it. So we are not out of the running yet...and I am going to be keeping everything crossed until both of us know exactly what is going on the until both our beans are past the 12 week mark. (I'm finding out next Saturday 15 June).

Thanks for all the reassurances. I know we all just want to reach that 2nd trimester point asap! One more question - are any of you still taking a baby asprin daily? My RE had me stop after the 6 wk u/s & changed my PIO to every other day. Just curious about the baby aspirin from RE to RE...

Im still taking the baby aspirin. Ive been wondering about that one, too..

Hey ladies, we got something VERY IMPORTANT to discuss: STRETCH MARKS or better yet, preventing them. Has anyone heard of the "must have" strech mark cream?? Ive been getting red lines under my boobs and some on my stomach that go away.-then they come back..Im nervous that these are going to settle in. Have you all thought about this??

Ive told DH that we need to start a "fund" so he can put me back the way he found me after we deliver this baby! haha

Peachy -- Fancy meeting you here. Yes, I'm still on baby aspirin. Don't have any idea when I'll go off it...maybe at 12 weeks? I'm also still using the Vivelle patches. I get cut loose to my OB/GYN after my u/s next Friday and I can't believe it! It's kind of bittersweet because I love my RE and we've become really close (plus he's pretty hot - I can't believe I just wrote that)!

Havanajims - No stretch marks yet and supposedly they are hereditary and my mom never had any, so I am crossing my fingers! Do tell about this MUST-HAVE cream though since I might need it too

Have a great weekend.

Havana- I’ve been using Palmers stretch mark cream since my first beta LOL Welcome to Palmer's we’ll see how it works

Sunny72- my sickness is not restricted to morning...i get small bouts of nausea throughout the day, but not every day. I am very sensitive to smells.

Just one more day until I visit my RE, I’m getting stir crazy! It such a gorgeous day, my girlfriends are downtown at a outdoor show on the water front *sigh*

Maybebaby - It's absolutely gorgeous here too and I've only left the house once since Wed. I really hope your appt. goes well tomorrow. I'm sure today is especially hard. I can't seem to get rid of my cramps that suddenly started last week so can't get rid of my nervousness either... We're almost there!

Sunny - I haven't had much naseau this past week. I never wound up with full blown m/s. Just the occasional foods not appealing.

Joy - I know you have a big appt. coming up this week too. How are you feeling so far? Excited to see those 3 babies again?

Hmmm... looks like I'm the only one off the baby asprin. Great... guess it'll be another question I'll add to the list for the RE. I'm desperately wishing I hadn't changed a thing at the 6 wk. marker if for nothing other than piece of mind right now!

Peachy, my dr also has people stop baby aspirin after the 6 week ultrasound and seeing the heartbeat. However, I had to stop when I had my kidney stones and honestly just forgot to start taking it again. And some drs don't have you take it at all.... Of course, I am a little worried about the fact that I never started taking them again...

Thanks maybebaby! Did you order that one on line? I bought the regular palmers at Target a few weeks ago. I hate the way it smells! Does yours have a strong cocoa butter smell?? I always remember that Clarins had an oil that was supposed to be a miracle in a bottle, I'll have to check it out.

Im hoping that heredity is the answer! My mom doesnt have them, and neither do my 2 sisters. Im just so scared to get them!!

My new body pillow has shipped from amazon, I cant wait. I'll let you know how it is!!
