Oops...here is the link to our furniture. We ordered 3 cribs, the changing table with hutch, the 5 drawer tall dresser and a nightstand. We ended up getting the expresso finish which is a little non-traditional for a girl, but we really liked it and since their bedding has a lot of white in it, I figured it would make it stand out more. Thoughts?

Sounds like monday will be busy around here!

Joy-the cubs onesies sound very cute. I was just thinking it should be easier to find sports gear for pregnant women- i've seen an occasional "Future XXX fan" shirts but nothing for our local teams- especially our college.. hmm, maybe there's a market waiting to be tapped... going to look at furniture now. I like darker finishes and then the dresser & such can grow w/ them. LOVE IT !!! Are they all going to be in one room or did you get a dresser for each of them?

MM- your niece is too cute! And so funny about the boots!

Robin - thats funny that you like the same set! You should talk your mom in to getting it for you! I love it! Cat - we just ordered one dresser and the changing table dresser for now. The sales lady said that since the set just came out we will have plenty of time to order more pieces in the future.

MM - your niece is beautiful!!! Seriously stunning! I meant to ask you if you have ordered any of these socks for your little guy: Trumpette: A Baby Collection - I got 4 boxes at my shower and I LOVE them. Apparently, these socks stay on better than any other socks (or so my friends say) and they are just so dang cute!

Cat - thanks for the stroller website! I haven't decided on a stroller yet so I'll definitely compare prices with that site once I figure out what I want.

I set up a game on expectnet.com so my friends and family could enter their guesses on the baby's gender, birth weight, length, and birth date and time (the person with the best score when the baby is born will get a prize). So far, most people think I'm having a girl. I guess they have a 50/50 chance on that part of the game! haha

I had trouble getting on and off the board yesterday too. Must have been a busy day in the IF world!

Joy - I love your furniture choice. It's so pretty and it will grow with the girls. I like the dark furniture too with light bedding. The saleswoman tried to talk me out of it but I like the combination. And, the socks are adorable! We wound up going with the Carter bedding from Serena & Lily. DH said the stripes and polka dots were just too much in the other. Good luck on Monday! Has anyone talked to you at all about a cerclage? It's on my list of questions for the perinatologist. Not sure if it would help me or when they would do it.

Boston - You are going to be full of anticipation until Monday. We can't wait for the updates!!

Havana - You'll have to take a picture of the bedding when you drag DH back out there today. Curious minds want to see.

Nathalie - I'm sure I'll eat more Italian today! I was good and had chicken for dinner last night. I should have been born in Italy

Cat - Thanks for the sheet advice yesterday. You may have tapped a new market for pregnant sports gear. Even in the sports crazy South I haven't seen much of it.

Today is one of my stay at home and behave days. I may venture out for an hour just to get some food for dinner. Other than that, feet up all day!

Peachy- glad to hear you're resting. I ordered my knitting book (that MM recommended) and I expect it anyday now so then I'll be spending more time on the couch (or emailing Robin & MM trying to figure out what i did wrong w/ my knitting)

Boston- so w/ a 1 pm appt does that mean we won't find out till tuesday?

Closets-- is anyone redoing theres in the nursery? If so, what/where are you going to do that? I *thought* i'd just move up the existing bar and shelf and add a new shelf and do it all myself, but now i'm debating getting a quote from somewhere...

Joy- the infant socks had me confused at first because it doesn't say box- it says $29 but I clicked on more and see that's for a box of socks! They are awfully cute. I'm pretty sure they sell those at my nordstrom.

Cat, i made booties last night i picked a very easy pattern and was done in an hour! you will love it!

Let's see...my ultrasound appt is at 1pm and then my appt with my OB is at 1:45 but, the OB is often running almost an hour behind...so let's say 2:45. I should be home by 5pm and I'll have to call my parents, etc. I will TRY to log on Monday night to let you know!! Since construction started on the house, our DSL has been SUPER slow for some reason...it's like using dial up! So frustrating. But, I'll try to post something on Monday night!

Closets - we haven't decided which bedroom we're going to use as the nursery. One has a small closet and one has a slightly larger closet. Since neither closets are huge, I am going to have my dad install some kind of organizing system in there to maximize the storage. He's done it for me before and it doesn't take him very long (we buy the organizer stuff at Lowe's or Home Depot). But I haven't given thought to how many shelves, tiers, etc. We are going to have a closet company put built-ins in our new dressing room as part of the renovation and I know having a company do it for you can sometimes be pricey....but it does save some aggravation.

Robin- want to help me launch the maternity line of sports gear? We could have pro & college... Shirts, sweatshirts, even jackets!

Ummmm....sure, I could post a picture of when it's done but, it won't be done until after the baby is born and we can get back into the house. I don't know how helpful it will be to you in March. hahaha But if you still need help in March, I'll definitely post a picture.
