Maybebaby - I'm so sorry you're having such a bad day. I'm especially sorry to hear about your grandmother. I don't think you're overrecting...I would have reacted the same way if I found out news like that over e-mail!

Thanks Ladies. For now my grandmother will remain in the hospital until they run more tests. My aunt (who she lives with) will have to decide if she will put her in a nursing home- she cuurently has a part time nurse but its getting harder to care in spite of this

Forsurebaby, #1 - hire new ones!!!! For #3 I am very sorry. My grandma died 2months ago and I wanted to "be there" for my father, because he did cary loss of his father very badly few years back, but NOBODY called me when that hapened, because they were concern about me and my PG. I was so sad, that I was not able to talk to my dad on that day when that hapened, I did catched them by phone in car almost week later on way to funeral!
I know how you feel.. I am sorry. Girls, I love Greta and watch 'on the record' every night, but when I want to get some laugh , than yes Robin, I watch Nancy (she gets sometimes into things so hard almost "kuku", that it is kind of funny), but I didnt see her lately. I just wish, that sick Vick would never get chance to play, there is so many young guys who can replace that sicko.

I'm with you Mirka on the Vick dramas!! I think everyone around here is just hoping he serves some "real" jail time and not a celebrity version. I mean how stupid can you be!! He had a $130 million dollar contract and he's involved in financially running a dog ring to make $2,000 a fight. No sympathy from me! I'm only sorry that our second string q-back Shockley got injured this weekend too. He played for my alma matter and I was hoping he would finally get a chance to shine.
Maybebaby - I'm sorry for your rough day. Staff dramas are never easy and then your grandma being sick on top of it. I wish her a speedy recovery from the stroke. If it makes you feel any better, my grandpa is 93 and has had 3 strokes and is still driving and going out every night. I know the alzhiemers complicates the recovery but I hope she feels better soon. And your reaction was completely appropriate.

Cat - I know you've been posting in the pregnancy thread about some of the latest recalls and plastic bottle issues. Yesterday, while we were at a baby store, we tried hard to find any toys not made in China and it was impossible. So, I came home and did a little research. I'm sure I can find some more options but here are some web sites to order toys from that are either made in the USA, Canada, or Europe and (hopefully) lead paint free. I wanted to post the list in case others are concerned too... Let me know if you have any other ideas. I hate to think about lead paint especially until the baby gets past the teething stage.

she said at the END of the conversation, she didn’t went me to worry, with my pregnancy and all, I just didn’t feel it was sincere especially AFTER she told me I was overreacting  Regarding #1 I’m currently working on hiring 6 more staff for our new office opening next year, so I’m just so exhausted with hiring…yuck! Peachy-Thanks. Yes the Alzheimer’s makes it hard. I’m happy to hear that your grandpa is doing fine-gives me hope Cat-they live an 1 1/2 hours away, I plan to go on the weekend to see how she is doing, in the meantime I will continue to get phone updates

Maybebaby- I am so sorry about your Grandma! That was incredibly rude & thoughtless of your cousin to send out an email like that and not call you. She definitely just made the last part up about not wanting to tell you because of your pg. She knows she was wrong. I hope everything works out at work.
Boston- I agree, spinoff is a horrible idea for Addison. It will never make it. Congrats on your 20 weeks. You are exactly 2 weeks ahead of me. MM- Of course you knew I would love the story on your doggie loving the burp cloth. I am sold on it! Cat- Hello & welcome back! We missed you! Funny story about your friend and the diaper. KathyC- You are so organized! Thanks for getting all of that together. Havana- Dh's have any excuse for large TV's. Congrats as well on your 19 weeks! Vanessa- Yeah! Another Grey's fan. I think we pretty much all are. The thread will be awfully quiet when the show is on. Mirka- I am so sorry about your Grandma passing away. I feel the same way about Vick. Angers me when I see sports agents saying that he is so valuable to the game that the public will forgive and he will come back to play again. Argghhh!! Peachy- Thanks for posting those links. You are right about trying to find something NOT made in China. I had to put my dog, Lady to sleep today. She was 15 or 16 yrs old, Jack Russell mix. She stopped eating 2 days ago and just kept vomiting every few hours and not moving. I feel so guilty because the last thing she ate was Chicken Jerky treats that I bought at Sam's Club (which is owned by Wal-Mart). Today I find out on the news that the treats are being quietly recalled by Wal-Mart, nothing official. You guessed it, made in China. I will NEVER buy another thing from that country. It makes me sick. I don't know if it caused her death or if it was something else. I had to go by myself to do it because Dh is on business in Mexico (had to leave early because of the hurricane) and he won't be home till really late tonight.

Oh Nathalie!! I am so sorry about your dog. I know you and I both just went through this in the spring. I can't even imagine it twice in the same year. Can I do anything for you?? I am so sorry that your DH is not here right now. Oh, I just feel so bad
I visited my Amber's grave on Sunday and was still crying even though it has been 5 months. Please PM me if you want to talk. I know it will be a hard few days at your house. Don't worry about the chicken treats. It is just so hard to know what to buy these days. I tried to switch my dog off of Nutro after the recall and he hated the new food and was starving all the time. I buy bully sticks, pig ears, and chicken strips all the time. I really don't think you did anything wrong. If the treats were lethal, we would be seeing more about the recall. Just mourn your special friend and let me know if you want to talk
