Holy cow!!! This board has been busy the past few days!!!! I'm not sure where to start!

Havana - I love your story about the u/s tech!!! I have a friend who is a vascular u/s tech and I'm always asking her questions, but she has no clue because she deals with veins and not babies! In fact, after my retrieval she looked at my u/s photos and freaked out because she thought I had a bunch of cysts...turns out it was actually my crazy enlarged ovaries that she was looking at, so I decided not to ask her advice anymore!

I agree with Peachy and Designdiva - we need some good news on this board! Its been a hard few weeks for our ladies! I have my first OB appt tomorrow and no scheduled u/s/. I'm going to insist that they do one because like Boston, I haven't had one since 5/25 and I'm going crazy. And, that was the first appt. where they found our 3rd baby, so I'm ready for some updates!

Boston - thanks for the heads up on the LOFT carrying maternity clothes! Its always great to have options. I went to the beach (well, Lake Michigan) yesterday and I felt huge! Its so weird to be in this in between stage where you don't exactly look pregnant, but you definitely have some weight around the belly. I felt like everyone was staring at me! Speaking of the beach...be sure to wear lots of sunscreen!!! I forgot to put some on my legs yesterday and all those theories about being more sensitive to the sun while pregnant are true! My legs are fried!!! My dr. is going to yell at me tomorrow!

Michy - I hope things went well today!!! We are thinking of you!!!

So, the morning sickness (well, all the time sickness) continues. I'm getting really sick of this. I feel like I can barely function. I'm so ready to be in the 2nd trimester because I keep hoping that it will get better! And, I have so many aversions to food right now that I'm basically eating the same thing all the time which is getting really old!!!

Did anyone else see that report about the 2 couples that had sextuplets this week? Crazy!

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Ok, quick question...how in the world do I put a pregnancy ticker below my signature? I've tried a few various ways and can't seem to get it to work. Help!

Finally some other people who can't get the ticker on the page. Cutting and pasting the URL address doesn't work for me...whats going on with it!

Asides from that...thank you so much all of you for the wonderful support. I really enjoy reading up on all your information and hearing the words of encouragement. Like what you said Catherine, it does make sense when I think about my cycle lengths that maybe I'm out a week or two, so you have given me some hope for this weekends u/s. And I am with all of you in agreeing that we need now to just have nine boring months of uneventful pregnancies. Heres to all of us brave, amazing ladies and our little beans who are going to grow STRONG, STRONG, STRONG!

Diva -- I agree with JKris, there is a huge difference week to week so you might see some huge improvements if you have your u/s this Friday. Good luck. Keep us posted.

Girls - Question for you! I had my first ob appt. today and the dr. couldn't find the baby's hb using the doppler. He said it might be to0 early for a doppler to pick up the hb, so not to worry. I'm trying not to, especially since just last Friday my u/s was beautiful, but now the shadow of doubt has entered my mind! Also -- don't forget I have possibly the oldest ob known to man, he's 86!!!! I switch to the one I really wanted at week 20.

Thanks for your input!

Maggie

your ticker:

Ok ladies-
Go to lilipie.com (just click on anybody's ticker) pick out the ticker you want and Joy dont forget to put the triplets in your pod.

When you finally save it, lilypie will give you a couple of different types of links for you to copy paste under your signature. Go to the signature edit section (which I know you know where that is) and then paste it below your signature. If you dont see it, try the next type. I thought it was like the 2nd one down. Try that. Just highlight the code for the ticker, right click and hit "copy" , under the signature, right click again and then hit "paste". Again, if you dont see the ticker, try it again with the next code they give you. You wont need to try it out. You will either see a code under your signature which isn't right or your ticker. GOOD LUCK!!

Thanks Havana! My ticker is finally on the bottom of my signature. I'm currently using the dates that my last ultrasound said I was at (one week behind, due around Jan 29th) although all going well, I will know more for certain as to what week/days I'm in this Saturday. Meanwhile...this ticker thingy is kinda fun.

yeah, I totally love the ticker. So, my friend who's studying to be an u/s tech can TOTALLY do u/s for anyone on the weekends as her "practice". Now I haven't told her yet that i'm pregnant but I might just need to

Cat- funny you mention the wheelchair- hubby is SERIOUSLY considering because of size of our airport
Hi Mirka! Nice to see you over here!
Boston- lucky lady! No more shots! Then again you had no problems with it. I was the same weight for years and after my 30th birthday I swear my body started to change…but I liked it because I got hips which I never had… We don’t have an Ann Taylor here but the site looks good, I may check them out when I’m in New York next
Kris- your ticker is just too cute!

Robin, I live in MD. Where are you? the only trick is she's JUST starting her program so she totally doesn't know anything yet. I don't know if i'd be able to recognize the heartbeat right away on my own or not, but I definately wouldn't be able to count it and she doesn't know yet how to use the equipment that measures it.

I see your genetic appt went well. Did they do an u/s?

Joy-- I LOVE Your ticker. The three peas in the pod are so adorable!!!!

Cat,
i think we will be able to figure out how those u/s machines work... I am in Charlotte, NC

my appointment went well yesterday... we had an u/s and they measured that space in the back of baby's neck for Down sindrome... all measurements came out good... our little one was sleeping at first, but woke up and started moving around... it was sooo cute...
