Nathalie-I’m glad everything looked great! I know its temptation to find out increases when you’re getting an ultrasound done! I’m sorry your Dh's ds is acting that way. Looks like you scored on all the baby stuff, good for you!

Thanks Peachy- we’re getting the stroller- the blue footmuff for a boy is a great idea. I’m with you on the electric toothbrush, I swear by mine and there is a lot less scraping going on when I go to the dentist. Maternity bottoms are so comfy!

Havana- I stopped exercising just after my hemotoma…I was thinking about going back to yoga- we’ll see…

Cat-I like the room so far- the stripes look great!

Boston- my OB didn’t mention a glucose tolerance test? What’s involved? I can’t wait until Sept 12th to see what your results are!

Robin- we will both have Winnie the pooh nurseries : ) BTW- I picked up on the “straight lines”

Bri01- I agree with Boston, we are all so different with the feelings…I feels flutters and only recently at 20 weeks I started to feel move movement whereas other ladies started feeling stuff a lot sooner. That why I decided to get my Doppler

it's a shame that we can't wear flip flops all winter.... might be getting some crocs to wear w/ socks come december? Red & green?

Robin- I did pick up on the straight lines! I'm catching on fast

And I say give the painting a try. If it does work just think you can tell little guy all about how mommy did it herself. Hmm, is little guy going to have different names for you and Irina?

Glucose test is required by ob's around here-not sure about Canada- usually around 28 weeks to test for gestational diabetes and such. It involves getting blood taken, drinking an all sugar drink and then waiting and getting blood drawn an hour later. If results are borderline or high, then you have to go back for a longer 3 hour test. At least I think that's the time you wait. Could be 2 hours and 5 hours...

Peachy - you got the Mutsy stroller, right? Which one did you get? I want to go check them out and a store near me has the 4-Rider one on sale. Are they easy to collapse and attach a car seat to?

i don't know what he is to call us... we will let him come up with something, i guess... we actually talked about it and couldn't come up with a solution... neither one of us wants to be called by our first name...

Robin, I love that room! that only looks like two tone and then stick ons and very cute.

My cousin lives w/ her mom and her son calls her Mommy and he calls his grandmother Mom (because everyone else who lives there calls her mom)-- seems to work for them. You'll figure something out! But you'll have to have names to refer to yourselves before this little guy can talk, otherwise he might call you Robin & Irina if that's what he's hearing all the time.

I need to find some white cafe curtains for this little guys room. Anyone bought curtains that are not part of their bedding set?

our bedding didn't come with curtains, so i'll be looking for them too...

you've already washed them? WOW... all my stuff is still in some box or boxes, who knows now... i need to orginize baby stuff or i won't be able to find anything when we move!!!

i bought some baby detergent and i couldnt resist...all the other stuff is still waiting to be washed

I've been storing extra sheets for dd's crib in underbed storage containers -- keeps them handy and keeps the dust out.

and most of her sheets are Amy Coe from Target and they've worked well.
