Havana- Your little man is so adorable!! He looks like he is sucking his thumb in the bottom picture. Gosh, at least your baby moved during the u/s, mine was like "Let me sleep!!". I am so sorry that your placenta hasn't moved. But like the girl's have said, at least you & Peachy can keep each other company. Thanks for sharing the pics! Okay, luckily I haven't dreamt of giving birth to hamsters!! hahahaha
I am in a cleaning mode today. I have been soooooo lazy the past couple of weeks, okay actually months. Of course I leave everything for the last minute before my trip! Hey when is MM coming back?? |

Havana~ Great picture of your little boy!! How wonderful to have a friend so close to you and with so many things in common. Now your boys will have a forever friend too, and before they even come into the world.

Hey Ladies!!
Just checking in...we've been so busy the past few weeks trying to get ready for our babies. I've missed the updates and love to go back and read to see what I've missed!! Lorenali - Congrats on the baby girls!!! Yeah!!! So more girls to add to the club!!! How exciting!!! Lineali- Congrats on the baby boys!!! Looks like we are all having groups of the same sex...no b/g combos here! Havana - great new pictures! He's getting so big! I'm so sorry to hear that your placenta hasn't moved, but am very glad to hear that your little man is doing so well. Oh, and I loved the pictures of you and Peachy at the lake! Robin - great new avatar...its fun to see everyone because I feel like I really know each of you! When does MM get back? I'm still so jealous she is there! Cat - your stripes in your nursery look GREAT!!! We are going to do some striping too and I love your idea! We are in a rental for the next year, so I don't want to spend too much time and effort, but I still want their room to look cute! Peachy - how are you feeling? I'm glad to hear you are done with clients and have been slowing down. Bummer that you can't go to the farm anymore, but at least fall is right around the corner and you can enjoy some cooler temps. Wait, does it cool down in Atlanta? We are doing pretty well here. I had a dr appt yesterday...cervix still holding strong at 4 inches! Babies all weighed 1lb 2ounces as of yesterday and the twins were sharing their fluid equally which is a huge relief! I'm getting huge! I've gained 28lbs so far...the dr said to expect "extreme" growth in the next 3 weeks or so. Lovely. I barely sleep and can't walk long distances at all. I'm measuring 34 weeks and now have to see the dr weekly with weekly scans on the babies to make sure they are all growing properly. Next week we hit the "age of viability" so that will be a huge milestone, then we will be looking towards 28 weeks. I'm just taking it a few weeks at time and not setting any ridiculous goals for myself since I know I can't really control what happens. We also had our multiples class and tour of the NICU last night. It was pretty sad, but I feel so much more prepared for all of it now. At least I know that my girls will be so well cared for in the NICU and thats what matters. Their nursery is almost done...aside from painting! The glider has been ordered and the bedding, rugs, lamps, etc. are all in place. We just went with the lavendar Isabelle set from PBK and I love it! It has a lot of blue accents so its not overly "girly", but is still delicate and cute! Ok, thats the latest. Keep praying that my cervix stays closed and that we can shoot for 28 weeks and beyond! Hope you all are doing well! GO COLTS!!! Lin

Hi Girls.
Good to hear that everyone are doing great. I just stopped by to give an update. I had teh anatomy scan today and its a girl. She is 10.4 inches (head to toe) and weighs about 14 oz. The ICSI prediction formula is getter weaker now. |

Joy- So good to hear from you!! Happy news that the girl's are growing well. I hope & pray that you continue to do well & that your cervix stays put!! Don't worry about the weight gain, it is all for a good cause!
KathyC- Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!! Wow, a girl!! I thought for sure you were having a boy, CONGRATULATIONS!! You are right, ICSI is 50/50. Okay, now I really want to find out! Talk to you guys later in the week. Still have to pack for my trip. I am going to go into withdrawls not checking the thread every hour! Nat |

Nat,
Yeah, I thought that it was going to a boy too. The experienced mommies at work were scanning my belly shape and predicting, insisting and making me believe that it will be a boy. It's hard to resist not finding out. I will have to see if you and Maybebaby stay strong, not finding out the gender. |

Joy-Congrats on all the good news!! (Especially your thick cervix)
Im so glad that you love your new doctor and that you are in good hands!! Also, congrats on getting the nursery all ready. Now you just have to "cook" a little longer! My DH says that I'm a baby baker. Kathy-Congrats on the baby GIRL!! WOW! Is this our first January ICSI girl???? YIPPIE!! Now you get to have lots of fun with those adorable little dresses!! About not finding out-I was wondering the same thing today at my ultrasound. IF you didnt want to know, I would certainly would have seen the boy parts!! IT was SO obvious! Do they tell you to look away??

wow, lots of news today!
Havana-love the u/s pics, the baby looks very cute and relaxed sucking his thumb. Joy-I'm so glad to hear that you and the babies are doing well. Sounds like you and dh are well prepared so far. I will keep you and the girls in my prayers. Lorenali and KathyC-Congratulations on the girls. you must be excited. I guess things are turning for our almost all boys January group. I called the dr's today b/c I've been having occasional contractions and was concerned, but the nurse didn't seem to think it's a big deal. Anyone else having this happen? It's been going on for about 6 or 7 weeks now. I am going into the office 9/14 so I'll ask the practioner again. Also, no baby movement yet-it's freaking me out a little. I think I will ask for another u/s to make sure he is ok. Hope everyone is doing well. |

Iluvmy2mutts- I see the perinatologist again next Thursday. I'm going to have to ask him about this as my feet hurt.
Kathy- Congrats on the girl. Joy- Glad to hear that all is going well. Just take it one step at a time Havana- Your baby wights one pound already? Wow! Just Peachy- I have found that alot of people say really inappropriate things at times, and prior to getting pregnant I had no problem keeping my thoughts to myself, however, I find lately that I have to hold my self back from saying certain things...

Joy - it's so good to see you check in! I'm SO happy to hear that things are still going well with the pregnancy. It seems like just the other day you found out that you're having triplets...and now you're not very far from the 28 week mark. Can you believe it?? Don't worry about the weight gain...with three little ones to chase after I think you'll lose it pretty quickly.
![]() KathyC - congrats on the girl!! Yay!!! Nat - no, no, no...you do NOT want to find out. I'm here to help keep you on track! ![]()

Robin - sorry to hear that your back is hurting.
My lower back has been bothering me too...especially if I bend certain ways. I am sure your OB can refer you to someone that can give you some exercises that will help....at least I hope so because that's what I'm hoping for at my appt next week! My hips have also been KILLING me...but I know there most likely isn't anything that can be done about that. I'll definitely let you know how I like the stroller...I am a little concerned that it's 23lbs...I'm a sadly weak person so I don't know how easily I'll be able to get it in and out of my car! We'll see!! My niece (and BIL and SIL) is flying into town today! Should be a fun weekend if my MIL and SIL don't hog her the entire time. The only downside....she'll be 4 yrs old in a couple of weeks and she's STILL not potty trained for #2!!!

my back was bothering before this pregnancy, but that was NOTHING compared to how bad it is now... i am afraid to walk down the stairs
a 4 year old is not potty trained? hhmm... that's not good! my sister is taking care of this 2 year old girl, the girl is not potty trained (#1 or 2) and she doesn't talk yet at all!!! her mother is a drug addict and is in jail... poor little girl... she is absolutely precious, though...
