URG! i've been unpacking things into baby's closet (first off, i didn't realize that i had so many items for this little guy already) and I just noticed one of the long sleeve onesie shirts i bought has a HOLE in the bottom of it-- looks like it was caught on something. That will be going back tomorrow. (hopefully just to exchange because I got the cutest pair of soft green pants to go w/ it and it's the only top that i got that matches)

Very frustrating Cat! I can't wait to see the pics though. The closet is going to be so cute. Havana and I are headed to BRU for a breast feeding class tomorrow and I'm going to pick up some hangers there. I'm ready to hang some little things too. Are you washing everything now or are you going to wait until closer till? I'm thinking I'll wait and just do some basics until I know what sizes we'll need. Maybe grandma wants to do some laundry for baby Aiden while we're in the hospital recovering

Wondering if it's just me but I have to ask everyone some things.....

First, do any of you have days were you just don't feel pregnant? Aside from the growing stomach and the swollen feet and ankles, I sometimes do not feel like this is real. I have yet to feel him move so I think that this is part of the issue, or am I just paranoid?

Also, wondering if any of you have had any moments, of little break downs? I have had one a week for the past month...about clothing. My mother bought me two shirts, and I lied in order to spare her feelings and told her that I liked them. In fact I don't like them as the biggest thing on me are my boobs and not my tummy so shirts have to be wider on top and then they flow down giving the impression that I am larger the I really am which is a little depressing. I battled with wearing the shirt and how I felt for an hour yesterday tears and all before I told my husband that I hated the shirt, and that I was going to tell my mom that I spilled something on it, and he'd better stick to the story. (I wore a different shirt)

Peachy- Oh how incredibly sad for your brother. Waiting there for patients and there were none. How horrible. You guys must have been so worried for him. Okay, thanks for the update on the belly button, I was getting obessed with looking at mine! Let us know how that breastfeeding class goes.

Cat- Glad for you that dd wasn't born on 9/11 either. Also, thank you for letting me know that the belly button will go back to normal. Whew! I cannot wait to see your closet too. It will inspire me!

Bri- There are still lots of days when I don't feel pregnant and it doesn't seem real. I think that is totally normal. We have all worked so hard for this and then the worrying is just beginning. Try to relax (easier said than done) and enjoy this time because I heard it goes by so fast. As for the shirts your Mom got you, is it possible to just wear them when she is around? Next time just tell her that you don't want to spend any money on maternity clothes because one of your friend's is lending you a whole bunch of things. Goodluck!

Nat - I am an "innie" too and my belly button looks kind of distorted now. I'm curious to see how well it stretches since I have a decent amount of scar tissue in my belly button from all my laporoscopies (and big ball of scar tissue on the inside of my belly where my belly buton is).

Peachy - I like the diaper bag...I really love the Fleurville bags...they're much more fun than the traditional diaper bag. I'm trying to figure out if I want a Fleurville bag or a StorkSak bag. I love the bag you chose!!!!!

Alicia - yes, I have had heaviness in my abdomen and I usually sit down and rest when I feel that. I've also had the aches...I think it's just the ligaments stretching for the baby (babies in your case).

Bri01 - Oh, yes...I've had moments where I break down...where I cry for seemingly no reason or I cr over things that normally wouldn't phase me. I think that's completely normal...our hormones are raging and we're about to start a new phase of our lives and don't really know what to expect. Don't worry...cry away if you need to! And, yes, until I felt the baby move I didn't feel like it was "real" too. That will pass!

Robin - great belly picture!!!!

Bri, in a couple months, your stomach will definately be bigger than your chest, so hang onto those shirts. (and honestly by the end you will be happy for anything that fits) If you wear it in front of mom and she comments on the lack of stain- you can say you put oxyclean on it. I had issues w/ clothing last night because I pulled out clothes i wore at the end of preg w/ dd and i put them on and they were already somewhat tight w/ lovely little back fat rolls which I HATE. I was ready to cry. I can tell you i will be buying some large cardigan sweaters to disguise it. But i'm over it for now and just plan on worrying about it after baby is here and buying cute shoes and makeup and accessories in the meantime. Your appt is only in two more days and I'm sure that will help set your mind to ease, i only feel this baby a couple times a day and nothing strong yet. Our emotions are crazy w/ pregnancy hormones, it's okay to cry if you need to. Sometimes you just need to. Otherwise if you hold it all in, you're going to burst out crying in the middle of work or a store over something silly like not being able to find a pen- so best to give in and cry now

Robin- great picture. Last night i was looking at joy's latest picture and comparing my stomach and honestly if you put us side by side, I don't think you'd be able to tell who was having the multiples...

dd is doing much better, thanks Robin. I actually dropped her off at daycare where everyone had a runny nose and the one kid that i know started it all STILL had horrible green stuff coming from his nose. Ew. my sinus infection, however, is much worse. I've given in to taking some psuedaphedrine which is helping some

Cat - glad to hear your dd is feeling better. Sorry your sinus infection is worse though. Sinus infections are SO uncomfortable. I hope you're better soon!

Hi Ladies.
Well, I have finally felt the baby move. It's neat, but kind of wierd, too, especially if he gives a good kick. Unfortunately DH can never feel the kicks. We tried the past 2 nights and he never feels a thing-it's kind of funny.

Robin-Good belly pic. I have no pregnant pics yet, I'd better get on that.

Bri-Yup, can't always control those emotions now. I tend to get a bit more cranky w/ DH, but I haven't really cried except 1 time early on in the first trimester. I'm sure it's totally normal to feel that way.

Robin - I love the tummy pics! You've got an exciting week here. How's the house packing coming?

Bri - I know I've had the occasional over-emotional day too. Plus, I can definitely relate on being top heavy! I'm on my third bra upgrade since getting pregnant. I tend to like the maternity shirts that either have an empire waist with a tie to give some definition or some of the stretchy type shirt that have some ruching.

Boston - I can understand having to skip over some of the posts. It's very emotional. We are all so excited for your u/s tomorrow!! Is it after work or during the day?

Cat - I'm glad dd is feeling better but not glad that your sinus infection is worse. I've taken several benardryls and sudafed over the past three weeks to help with all the stuffiness. Have you tried either? I thought the sudafed was more helpful but it keeps me up at night. Very funny about comparing your tummy to Joy's.

Maggie - I'm glad your feeling some movement. It's so fun! Mine likes to play hide-and-seek with my DH too. But, OJ does the trick every time.

Nat - We'll definitely report back about the freebie breastfeeding class at BRU. Hopefully, it's useful. My friends with kids keep telling me they wish they took more breastfeeding classes to get a handle on all the positions.

Joy - You still look tiny to me even at 23 weeks!! You're all belly. One of those cute pregnant people where no one could even tell from behind. You'll have to let us know how the growth spurt feels over the next few weeks.

Peachy- I feel the same way about 9-11 (as I’m sure most people do) after all this time it still tough watching the tape reels- I will never forget that moment AND my mom’s birthday is today….
On another note- I LOVE the sham-pure as well! The scent is so refreshing! LOL at you using it on the dog! Very nice bag! Regarding the bra’s- I have taken to wearing sports bras- I’m a DD now and it’s so uncomfortable to wear bras
Nat- yes, my belly button is changing too it looks like it will be non existent shortly!
