Cat - sorry, no fresh ideas for a costume here. I know the pregnant nun is pretty popular....and my friend did the redneck costume one year...she even blacked out a couple of teeth and carried an empty beer bottle around all night.

Maybebaby - I wish there was a sick room here. There is a hotel across the street...I was really thinking about going over there earlier today and checking in so I could take a nap! hahaha

Cat - I know....so excited about being under 100 days now!! Is counting down now. The 3 hr test will stink. Especially because I'll be STARVING until it's over! hahaha No way I can focus on reading or something like that while I'm so hungry. No food after midnight...and for the three days leading up to it I have to eat extra servings of breads, fruits, and dairy. Not looking forward to the three blood draws either...my veins are so small that they struggle to get a vein for ONE stick...never mind three in one day! haha Oh, well...hopefully everything will come back fine...that's all that matters.

Sounds like you had a good trip to Target today, Cat. I wish there was at least a store close by that I could browse in during lunch time.

Cat- yes she’s my replacement. I don’t leave until Dec 21st but I have quite a few projects on the go and its best for me to be here if she ha questions. She will have to manage them on her own as well as a staff of 9.

Is funny because all the men in the office seem to love her and the women- not so much...she's wearing a tight black dress today with patterned fishnets!

Boston- that’s too bad well hopefully the next 3 hours go by quickly!

boston- the 3 hr test does not sound fun, but we'll just cross our fingers that it goes just fine... and really, your credit card thanks you that there isn't a target across the street. I think i now make at least weekly trips...

Cat - I like the redneck costume idea!! DH is off today so we're spending some couples time together.... i.e. watching tv side by side since my 4 hrs on my feet today will be the 3D tonight! DH went to a wine tasting earlier which I'm very jealous over. True, I'm trying not to work but my clients don't seem to get the drift! They still continue to call at all hours of the day. One in particular is getting on my nerves over here.... I've been asking them to do some landscaping to help with the curb appeal for months. Finally did it yesterday and called at 8am to see if I was going to be there TODAY to take new photos and print new flyers

Boston - I'm so sorry you have to do the 3 hour glucose. Yuck!! I know I had to do the 1 hour before 10am so you didn't eat anything with sugar before but you were able to take yours pretty late in the day. Maybe that's why the results were fluky. I hope you're feeling better tomorrow. Get some early sleep tonight.

I've been playing on the web today looking for some shower decor ideas. My Mom and SILs are organizing on my side. My Mom doesn't believe in showers and thus has only attended one (superstitous) and one SIL is 25 (never been to a shower) and the other SIL is the pain in the a s s one. So, my Mom was stressing yesterday that the shower won't have the "appropriate" decor since she is clueless. Silly Mom. I promised her to give them some ideas. I've also been feeling a little weird about the whole in-law thing this week. I know some of you saw my post in the other thread. DH has a weird relationship with his parents. My in-laws haven't even called to congratulate me on being pregnant yet. Nor have any of his six siblings called or even sent a card. Oh, and forget about baby gifts. I know there is nothing I can do about it. Whatever happened between them happened way before I came into the picture. But, I just feel sad about it this week and knowing the baby really won't have a relationship with any family on that side

Ok... on to more cheerful thoughts! My 3D isn't until 6pm tonight and then we're doing dinner with my parents. So, I won't have pictures to post till late but I promise I will!! I'm so excited to see Aiden's face!!

Peachy the never of some people, I guess they feel that you are sitting around waiting for them! This office is pretty conservative so I don’t think the fishnets went over very well (especially in a Manager role) but to each his own!
I didn’t know about the in law stuff, I’m so sorry to hear I will have to go to that thread to catch up

Peachy - I think I'd feel sad at times too if my DH's family was basically cut off because of something that happened way before I was in the picture. Try to focus on all the love that surrounds you in your DH, your family and your good friends....Aiden will be blessed to grow up with all that love!

Too funny about your mom and the baby shower. I know it will be a wonderful shower...she'll get the hang of it!

Peachy- sounds like a lovely day. Don't you get to lay down for the 3d picts? I'm sorry about the in-laws, and maybe once Aiden is here, they will try for more of a relationship w/ him, you never know. We can hope! As for shower ideas, what I do for each baby shower i host is:
buy a clothes line from the dollar store & buy baby clothes pins--- the clothes line is usually really long so cut it so you can hang clothes line in many rooms and attach baby clothes, baby socks, baby shoes, baby burp cloths, baby diapers-- -it ends up being SO cute and all the "decorations" are things you can take home for baby. And then for the tables, I like to buy rubber duckies and float them in a glass bowl and I like to buy those wooden blocks w/ letters and stack them and spell "baby" and/or baby's name and baby things. Also, it's cute to buy a wooden train set (or the fisher price plastic train set) and use that on a table and it will be a take-home toy for baby when he gets a little bigger. And since you and Havana are helping out and know about it, you can probably bring some baby stuff you already have at home to hang on the clothes lines. (don't even tell me that you don't have any baby clothes bought yet! )

Boston- Ugh, I was hoping that you were feeling better today, not worse! Oh no, bad news about retaking the test. Maybe you can get that fruit punch flavor that Peachy had.

Vanessa- I wondered where you had gone to. Sounds like you are extra busy with all of the remodeling/nesting. How exciting! How terrible that he has to re-do the shutters. What happened??

Maybebaby- Yeah, it was a weird dream to say the least. My left bb was just not there and the baby was hungry. You gotta love the new people at work. Fishnets, huh? I am sure the men are happy though.

Peachy- Oh my gosh, your clients don't have a clue. Tell them they are too late on the curb appeal. Sorry about your "out-laws", luckily Dh has you & your family. I am going to log back on late tonight to check on Aiden's pics! Can't wait.

Robin- I like that no one would notice if you fell asleep at the meeting! That's where I want to work. Well as long as they served pizza during it.

So I take my little old lady friend out once a week. She is 99 years old (and in denial about her age). She wants to look for a bra. She doesn't know her size. Also, I am not kidding here, she has about 20 or so white/tan bras, no tags or anything on them. So I pick her up at 10am today. Took her to the dentist, returned something for her at Kmart (her favorite place), went to lunch then went to Sears. Spent an hour trying on 6 bras!! OMG!! Please someone just put me out of my misery (after the baby is born of course!!). She is sucking the life out of me. Everytime one of my friend's ask how she is all I can say now is: "She is STILL alive". Just got back home about half hour ago. I am going to go and lay down. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....
