Mirka - I'm glad your appt went well...and how wonderful that you were able to schedule your c-section at a more affordable hospital!! It sounds like you've got a nice healthy big boy on the way and that you're in good shape for his arrival. Did you have fun shopping for the stroller and car seat? As for stretch marks, I haven't seen any on my belly yet....but I do have some on my "underboob" on my right side.

Havana - Your DH is too cute. The birthday scavenger hunt sounds fantastic!! As for aches and pains, I am doing OK. My legs and feet started swelling the other day and they have continues every day sinse. My pelvis and hips seem to be the most sore in the mornings but, as I get moving, they feel a little better. What's really bothering me is that, after my last pedicure (about a month and a half ago), I developed a HUGE planter's wart on the arch of my right foot...it freakin' kills when I walk. I've never had one of these and it's just so gross. Also, I'm having a hard time sleeping...Julia likes to attack my ribs when I sleep. I can't access the site that you posted the link to at work. I'm dying to know what it is!

Bri01 - I'm so happy you're keeping us updated on Jayden. It sounds like he's getting stronger every day. I LOVE the picture of him holding onto your finger...so precious. And it must be a relief to have the decision to stay home made once and for all!

Question about CM

Hi Ladies! I have a question about CM. For the past two days, my CM has been kind of a dark tan color and I've had a lot more of it. My OB and her nurse did say many people experience color and quantitiy changes in their CM as the pregnancy goes on but, I'm still surprised when I see it. Anyone else experiencing this?

Thanks, Robin. No, mine doesn't have a bad odor....just more of it and brownish/tan in color.

Your travel system is cute! I like the neutral color!

Boston- I do have a lot and the color changes throughout the day because of my prenatal vitamins. Sort of yellowish/tan in the morning and turning more clear throughout the day. I have invested heavily in Always pantyliners from day one.

Robin- Love your travel system!

Cat & Bri, I didnt got stretch marks yet, but I will get them for sure, because when I was growing up my boobs got into cup C over summer break and they did look for many many years very badly, like I did nurse 10 kids, so I know I have bad skin, so I am sure they will show up...soon .....
That lactation consultant is teaching how baby should suck milk?? They dont suck naturally???
Boston, hahaha, I dont have ever fun while shoping, I like to get in, grab it and get out....But we went there for one kind same as Robin has posted- Graco and end up with buying other kind (Chicco), because it was all so easy and manuverable and so light with this one....)
No any CM here, sorry for no help. And you know I would write all about it......

Peachy & Cat- I will definitely post pictures at some point this weekend

Lineali- check in after your appt goes today!!!

Boston- I have been getting tan coloured CM as well as egg white like CM Panty liners are my best friend!

Me too, me too! Heck I had to invest in them before I was even pregnant, thank you endometriosis...the gift that keeps on giving.

Mirka - We liked the Chicco too...it was easier for me to collapse. In the end, we didn't end up buying a travel system though.

Maybebaby - thanks. It's good to hear that there are a few of us with the darker CM. I didn't want to call my Dr about it to see if it was normal!

Hi Ladies!

Boston-Ok first of all--the plantars wart is NOT from being pregnant. I hope you know--I got one from a nail salon a few years ago, and it is from them not cleaning their tubs or tools. YUCK! Those suckers are hard to get rid of because they have these little black seeds (EEK!) that will spread if you open it up. Get some serious good plantars wart medicine to clear it up and dont ever go back to that place again!!!

Bri-Im so happy that little Jayden continues to get better and better each day! Is the pumping getting anybetter?? You poor thing! You cant seem to catch a break trying to heal from the surgery and now you bb's are so sore!

Nat-WOW! That couple is going to be on Ellen? Thats hilarious! That video is so funny. If anyone skipped it, go back and watch it on the previous page. It takes a second to get going..

Robin-I like the neutral colors on the stroller and carseat too! Your little man is going to be so cool in your new stroller system

Mirka-I like the Chico system! It looks very posh, and European.

BTW-The Orbit is almost here. It should be here on Monday. DH was SO EXCITED when I ordered it.

Peach-Yes, I GOT the bag! DH is even taking me back today for another birthday surprise.
I feel spoiled now that I bought him the Orbit.

Maybe-Staying warm up there??

ps-Im going to lay it on THICK--my dad forgot my birthday yesterday.
I forgot his one year I was in college and NEVER heard the end of it... I think me and baby Matteos will get a good "makeup" present this year!!!

Oh, yeah, I know the wart isn't from being pregnant. It's totally from the pedicure! The stinky part is, I got the pedicure at this really great and reputable spa near my house...it's where I get my hair done, my waxing done, etc. I can't use the OTC treatments for it until after Julia is born...so I'm trying the duct tape treatment for now. So far, it seems to be doing what it's supposed to do. We'll see. And now I am in DIRE need of a pedicure...I can't cut and file my own nails right now because I have a hard time reaching...but I can't get a pedicure because I have this skeevy wart on my foot!

I can't wait for your Orbit to arrive...you'll have to post pictures!

You poor thing...I can't believe your dad forgot your birthday! I am sure he'll make it up to you big time!

Oh, and does this mean that you decided on Matteos for the baby's name?!

Hi Girls,

I was up until midnight (waiting for DH whose flight was delayed, ugh) but I did still get my bath, foot rub and the result was ta-da SIX STRAIGHT hours of sleep for moi! I'm still tired, but just had my raisin bran and banana and am contemplating going back to bed until my haircut and pedi at 12:45. Although with Boston's recent plantar wart bad luck I'm thinking about skipping the pedi! I am pretty desperate though, so I might risk it. I love not working on Fridays!!!

Havana - What bag did you get?!! I must know!!! I cannot believe your dad forgot your b-day.

Mirka and Robin - Spiffy travel systems! Girls are you installing the carseat yourselves? Consider going to a firestation or baby store where they have certified carseat installers just at least the first time so you make sure Alex and Gregor's carseats are installed perfectly!

Boston - You must elaborate about this duct tape treatment!!!

our pediatrician's office got us a list of places that check & install seats... i'll try installing it myself and see if i get it right i like challenges... and that way i'll know what i did wrong, if anything... we will definately have them checked before brining Alex home...

Btw, Havana, that first dance link is HILARIOUS!!! Wish I would've thought of that. On second thought, my monster-in-law probably woudln't have appreciated it very much.

Nat - Wanna hear something funny? On his way home last night Dh called and asked me if I wanted him to pick up something to eat and then he said "How about Taco Bell? Do you like Taco Bell?" Ironic! And yes, I am a lucky girl having another shower - it's the one with the "prepare for landing" invitation! I really hope it doesn't snow so I can get there.

Peach - How was your raisin bran/banana combo this morning? And did you get your special shuffling around town slippers yet? How about UGGs? I love mine and when I'm tired and swollen, nothing else makes me as happy as they do.

Maybe - It makes me so warm and fuzzy to know that my little hat is Dh's favorite! The orange one is tiny, I know, but I tried it on my friend's two week old and it fit great! Btw, I washed both of them but you can feel free to wash them again, just don't dry the green one because it'll felt the yarn! Lay it flat on the dryer and that should do the trick.
