Me: 30, blocked tubes (endo and scarring from the endo) DH: 32, healthy and incredibly supportive  1st IVF CycleLate March - April 2007: BCP, Lupron, Gonal-F & Repronex 04/17 ER - 6 eggs retrieved, 4 fertilized 04/20 ET - 2 embryos 04/29 - 05/04 hpts each day - positive!! 05/04 1st Beta = 514   05/06 2nd Beta = 1234  05/15 1st u/s - we saw our little bean!! 05/25 2nd u/s - everything looks great!! Heartbeat 152bpm! 06/18 - 1st OB appt - heard heartbeat for the 1st time! 160bpm! 06/27 - NT Scan 07/16 - 2nd OB appt - looking good!! 08/13 - Anatomy scan @ 1pm 09/10 - OB appt - everything's going well 09/12 - u/s - it's a girl!!! EDD = January 8, 2008! Julia Katherine was born Jan 10th at 6:23pm. 7lbs, 4.4 oz and 20.5 inches

Robin, thanks, I know for sure IVAN is Russian name would think that Yuri would be written in Russia maybe as JURY or JURAJ or something like that. And also remember from that language "babushka & dedushka" (grandma and grandpa) is that right???
Cat, thank you my detective! Vanessa, haircut.....yes, I do have to much hair, just last week I went in for "thinning", she has to with some like razor-knife go into my hair and razor them out, to make them not thick, otherwise they are sticking out to sides. It is hot in them, very hot. Oh, and they have layers. But what style it is - I have no idea. Some cow style.......from Texas.

Hi girls,
Sorry I havent checked in til now. I had an OB appointment that was running late because my OB had an emergency c section that threw off the day. Not much to report. She wasnt too concerned with my vericose vein on my forehead. She said shes seen them in crazy places but never on the forehead. She's (AND ME) are hoping it will go away after the baby is here. My hair has also been falling out. Anyone else having this?? She said all normal.... Peach is fine. She had a long visit at the Periontologist too. Im sure she'll check in. Not to worry!! Mirka-you look hilarious! Sorry I havent read everyones posts yet, I just wanted to say Hi real quick before I go back and read the probably 5 pages you already wrote!!

Mirka - You look adorable even with the kleenex! I can't wait to see pictures of you and Gregor together. I'm so glad the doctor had good news for you about your throat. Take all the antibiotics so you get better before the c-section.
Robin - I think the necklaces are very sentimental for you and DP. Are you giving her the necklace for xmas or at the delivery? I think they're gorgeous. Cat - Way to go with the early shopping. That's impressive! DD and DH will be so cute in their matching puma shirts! Boston - A hotel room sounds delicious to me too. Order some decadent dessert for all of us! MM - You're cracking me up with ironing the hospital gowns. And I felt bad about my ocd on the bottles! I'm so glad you found a doula you really like. Nat - You've got to be getting excited about the gender over there... I had a LONG appt. this morning. I did not fail the pee jug. Urgh. Got another one to do tomorrow. The perinatologist wasn't thrilled about my sudden weight gain either. He just can't believe my urine is holding at borderline. He gave me a new type of blood pressure test to try (sitting vs. laying) and some new guidelines. He's also thinking between week 37-38 now. The baby wasn't practicing his breathing today. They tried everything. He was moving and they even brought in this buzzer thing to put on my stomach to wake him up. So, they kept me to do a non-stress test too to make sure all was ok. I'm headed back there on Monday to see how everything looks before the holiday. Oh, and the doctor showed us fat rolls on baby Aiden today!

Peachy - Sorry you didn't fail the pee jug!! I'm glad everything was OK with the non-stress test. Fat rolls on Aiden...he's going to be one of those adorable chubby cherub babies! I love it!!

Peach, did they say how much Aiden weighed today?
How are you girls holding up that are still working? I tried to go shopping for DH's birthday and Christmas and I had to sit down twice! I felt horrible after!! oh btw- I just spoke to Joy. She wanted an update on everyone so I told her how you are all doing. She's doing great, said that her recovery from the c-section was tough. She also wanted me to warn you about the lactation consultants at the hospital will totally freak us out and do weird things. She said hers was massaging her boobs infront of DH. She also said that they might make you feel incompetent and to ignore it just do your best. She said they are like boobie natzis. Sounded like the la leche meetings some of you have gone to. yikes! oh, no, just dont be worry about anything like that, all things what are bad now, will disappear..... No, I dont have one gift for dh, so I told him today, he is free to buy anything what he wants and buy all presents what he likes for him self, because I am not going to even try to go shop, it hurts again under belly and that bones down there hurts too..... Peachy, I am so so happy for your chubby Aiden!!!

Havana- my last day is on Monday- I’m actually feeling pretty good, but I’m looking forward to being home! And regarding the lactation consultant, I’m not surprised LOL the renowned one is our area is VERY hands on! I hope that I will be fine!
Robin- looking forward to hearing the results from your exam- I think you are the next to go! Good to know that you have internet service at home now! Ok, I’m off! I have my last pre natal class tonight

Mirka- I cracked up at your picture with the tissue in your nose. But honestly, you still look pretty and you do have great hair!! Thank God it isn't cancer! See you had yourself all worked up with worry. How nice of your neighbor to make you that blanket! Oooo...that frustrates me when I get really bad service at a store or restaurant. What a waste of time. I second the vote on a cute male lactation consultant!
Peachy- No way, I cannot believe that the test came back negative on the pee jug!! I too can't wait to see pics of Aiden and his rolls. Havana- Thanks for the update on Joy! And for the heads up on the "boobie nazi's". Glad your appointment went well too. I think Mirka wants a male one. hahaha Maybebaby- Have fun at your class. I have one tonight too and the last one is tomorrow night. Bri- I see you on!! How was Jayden today? Did he take more than 10 cc's? I will check later tonight to see if you posted. Hope all is well.
