Boston - We better get you your own personal clawfoot tub soon!

Mirka - I hope your day got a little better.

Havana - At least you got something for dh! It is funny that you are trying to arrange baby stuff and wedding pics at the same time. Any special mazes planned to surprise dh on Sunday? Pee jug is going...

Cat - How was the party?? Tell us some good food stories.

Trish - Thanks for the shoe recommendation. Unfortunately, I'm beyond shoes over here. I'm in flip flops till the end now. I loved your growing frog pictures this week.

DH has forced me to stay on the couch all day. He got us lunch and just bought food for dinner. Just me and the pee jug for excitement. Oh, and I watched A Baby's Story - woman had a 40hr. labor with two epidurals. Geez.

Maybebaby- Hi! Class went well. We covered basically the same things you did. Cannot believe how many couples are so unprepared. Makes me feel good!

Cat- Wow, at least dd is waking up to go potty! I wet the bed for the longest time. Heard it runs in families so I am expecting it for our baby. Yummy, blueberry coffee cake! Thanks for letting us know about Joy's blog, I will check it in a minute. Gosh, they are always fumigating or doing something at your office! Don't you want to yell at them and say "Hello people I am pregnant!!".

Vanessa- OMG!! It sounds like Stella will be here sooner than you think.

Mirka- I am sorry that you are feeling sad today. I hope you are back to normal soon. Doggie kisses always help. That and venting to us. We are here for you! You always make us laugh, today it was the "homemade tampons" for your nose!

Boston- Hope you have a wonderful evening to yourselves & that you enjoy your dinner. LOL...I cracked up at your description of hotel tubs. I agree with you! I used to do London (LHR) layovers and they had this beautiful huge tub in the bathroom. Well on my next trip I had brought with me sanitizing Clorox wipes, cleaned the whole tub & put down a towel for me to sit on while I soaked. Another thing, I always bring my own plastic disposable cups, I never drink out of those gross glasses in the room. I know, I am a freak!

Havana- Happy Birthday to your Dh!! You need to post one of your wedding pics.

Peachy- How sweet of Dh pampering you at lunch time.

Bri & Maggie- Where are you guys? How are Jayden & Joshua doing?

Dh is off starting tomorrow until January 3rd! Messes up my time on the computer though. But I am happy to have him home. Talk to you girl's later.

Hahahaha...yes Peachy...the growing frog! I feel like it's one of those foamy frogs you stick in water and it swells like 30 times it's original size. Thank you though. Aww, flip flops/jory's my favorite. I can't wait to slip my tootsies into a pair. You poor thing...take it easy. I am so excited for you to be approaching Aiden's arrival day. Take Care.

Okay, between MM's ironing and Boston & Nathalie's cleaning of hotel rooms, I'm feeling a little better about my OCD issues All of my friends tease me about having to have things clean... In fact, I had a maid srvc for a little bit while dd was a baby but had to stop because even though they did a decent job, I wanted it all cleaned my way and ended up recleaning stuff.... Of course, now there are are a few things i would definately turn over like vaccuuming, laundry and dusting... It's mainly the kitchen and baths that i have to have sanitized my way

Mirka- One day last week i was VERY weepy. After breaking down in tears a few times, I took a nice warm shower and went to bed. Felt much better the next day-- i hope you do too! I'm sending you

Peach- the party was fun but there were no sweets It was actually catered at the hotel bar- so yummy appetizers- there were chicken quesadillas, twice baked potatoes w/ cheese & bacon on top, chicken tenders, veggies & hummus dip, a weird cheese platter that i stayed away from (one of the cheeses was green) and now my tummy is mad at me and although i fell asleep at 7, i'm up due to acid reflux...

Boston, I hope you're relaxing, even if it's not in the beautiful tub

Nathalie- here's hoping you sleep through the night

Havana- I actually like going to the mall at xmas time, but i do prefer it when there are no lines like early in the am... Can't wait to hear how dh loves the photos- such a nice gift!

I have lots of wrapping and cleaning to do, but surprise! I'm too tired... maybe tomorrow

Cat, my two bags are almost packed, I mean they are packed, just few things is out in special place what I am using and I told to DH if something will happen, that "this stuff" has to go in bag too....
I am sure I will be fine even if I will find out I am missing something...most important is my computer and phone (hahaahah) Thank you for hugs!

Peachy, thanks for suggestions, my problem is, that generally I dont like shopping, rarely I get excited about buying something for my self, usually I get something more expensive with good quality what can stay with me for years and years, so I dont have to go shop soon for same thing soon again.
Yes, I was also looking man's shoes.... wanted some good leather ones, didnt see..... maybe tomorrow, or I will just survive in my father's sandals... and that is it. I was wondering what you are wearing on your lovely feet!!!???
How can you watch 40 hr. labor on Tv? Did you were trying to prepare yourself or make yourself believe, that this is not going to happen to you???

Trish, thanks!!! I will look for Easy Spirit!!!! When was taken that picture of your belly??? I cant imagine how big it is now!!!!????

Boston, right now I think you sit in bathtub.........hahaha, I know you dont, I have never done that either. I have really good imagination and it goes very wild when I think about who was there trying to use it before me........hahahaaha

Havana, you did nail it!!! Yes, that is all what I want to be, big sleazy slug!!!
Cant imagine, that I would want to organize photos. Right now I dont want to organize anything! Looks like you are doing still very good!!

Maybebaby, you see...... you are still happy to be spending your lunch time in line!!! If that would be me, I would left with crying from there!!! But I am not this way, normally! You are also getting closer!!!!

Nat, how come DH is staying at home until 3rd January?? He is taking vacation time?? He should save it for baby time!!!

Hello to rest of you.

Today afternoon we did get results of pathology report of that thing what got cuted out from my DH's neck last week. It is cancer. Hopefully all got cuted out, but 50% of people will get it back in three years somewhere else on body. We have to hope for best. So lets start to hope!!
He was on phone today with nurse, who wanted him to come next Thursday for taking stitches out and I did hear he did say: " I cant come, my Egg will get hatched next Thursday, I have to be there to hold him...."
Tomorrow morning is my last appointment.......
One more week, girls!
Have a good night everybody!!

Hi Girls,

Cat - You can ALWAYS come to me with your OCD issues! I have a housekeeper come once a week and I still spend two hours cleaning before she comes. You know how it goes - you have to sort out the catalogs and mail, clear things off so she can clean, etc. Hope you made it to a fume-free bathroom!

Boston - I don't ever use hotel bathtubs either! DH uses them all the time because he travels (ick), but I would literally have to clean the thing with Clorox myself beforehand! Glad to hear that the house is moving along. Have a great time tonight!

Peach - Your DH is so sweet to bring you all your meals! You do need to take it easy and put your hoofers up. I am so excited for your next 7-10 days!!! Omg, what if next week at this time you have a brand new chubby baby in your arms?! How was your Chanukah? I never heard what you got! Do tell.

Mirka - I hope you cheer up soon. I'm sorry you are sad! Cat is right, pregnant women are very emotional and fragile. I'm weepy too and cry very easily! I am hoping that you find a great present for DH and some slip on shoes for yourself tomorrow!

Nat - So fun that DH is home for a spell, I totally understand. I love it when my DH is on the ground for awhile too. He is officially home until after the baby comes starting tomorrow. Glad that your class went well!

Havana - (sniff sniff, boohoohoo) You've forgotten me!!! I'm still here!

Vanessa - WOW. Stella could be Maybe's next update!!!

Maybe - Are you staying warm over there?

I spent today cleaning out my desk. Boy, I have gathered a lot of stuff in the past six years! Tomorrow is my last last day!

Hope you are all well.

MM

I had a blind date once with a guy that spent the first minutes of dinner telling me all about how he sterilized hotel rooms and then wouldn't let the daily cleaning service in till he checked out. The guy brought sanitizing spray and wipes and cleaned everything. He said first up was the phone and the remote! I still remember the date... it was a very long dinner!!

Cat - No sweets in the holiday season?? That just isn't fair! I guess all the apps are fighting it out now. Good thing you avoided the green cheese. Present wrapping can definitely wait till tomorrow. Oh, and I clean before the monthly cleaning crew comes. Something I always swore I would never do.

Mirka - I am sorry about dh and the biopsy results. Is it from sun exposure? I know the men are very stubborn about using sunblock while on the farm equipment. I will hope for only the best and that is stays far away!! Wow, one more week....

Nat - How great to have dh home for such a long stretch! Does he still have more time to take off for the baby leave? Do you have any special plans for the two of you?

MM - Yay for tomorrow being your last day!!! Better take some tissues with you. So, does this mean we get our shopping expert back?? We're going to need some website advice once these little guys start arriving! Dh got me the new camera I had been drooling over for Chanukah so I'm very excited to take lots of photos.

Hi everyone. Sorry I haven't written, but I've checked in quickly to see how you all are doing. I haven't had much energy the past few days w/ Joshua-he likes to be wide awake from about 1 or 2 pm to 6am or so. That has been very tough. He definately has his days and nights mixed up. I will eventually post some pics, Cat, I may have to email them to you to post if I still can't figure it out.

Havana- I totally agree, the next baby will be planned for summer time. I wish I could go out and walk now, but we have a ton of snow and ice out there and it is way too cold for Josh. We aren't really doing Christmas presents this year except for our parents, and one or two little things for each other. Josh is our present this year.

Mirka-Sorry to hear that your husband's biopsy didn't go well. Will he be getting any other treatment? I think it's a great idea to get him a daddy gift. I think I might do that, too. Thanks for the idea! I hope tomorrow is a better day for you.

Nat- My dog came home today from his grandma's house and was very interested in the baby. He ran in and out of all the rooms with his nose up in the air sniffing. It was very funny. He is doing well w/ Josh so far. He's come up and smelled him alot and always runs into the room when Josh is crying while being changed. Hopefully he'll adjust well. Glad to hear about you blowing the whistle on your neighbors. Is their dog still tied up?

MM, enjoy your last day of work today! But dont work, just walk around and chat with people and waste these few last hours!!!

Peachy, DH was all his life big office mouse, we both are very light skin, but he is the one, who is buying sun protectors and sun screens and would not go out without using them, I am one who never put anything on me and he is always upset about that. But yes, his body is not use to be on sun like in last 4 years and exposed. I did laugh about your blind date, it reminded me mine one, 20 years ago, but there was not any dinner, when I did see him I did say: "I came to apologize personally that there is no way I can have date today, I have to go back to work, we have some problem there....blah blah blah blah....I think he got it and didnt try to call me back......

Maggie, if you will have any idea what to get for your DH than let me know, I am without ideas!!
I hope Joshua's sleeping pattern will change soon.

Maybebaby, where are you all the time???

Hello Cat, Nat, Havana and others.....

My dripping nose is little better. "Butt Paste" is mirracle, I did use it on skin of my nose!!!! Mirracles do happens!!!
I go get ready for my appointment.
Have a nice weekend everybody.

...only 6 nights......

Mirka, i'm sorry about the cancer on dh's neck. We'll hope for the best. What appt is today?

MM- i love Mirka's advice on no work today Can i take that advice too?

Maggie- I'm up for posting pics anytime. Glad to hear you & Joshua are doing well. We're not doing much for xmas this year either, other than some stuff for dd! And I had planned to have an early fall baby originallly but well, things don't always go as planned! Very cute that your dog is interested in Joshua-- what type of dog do you have?

Peach- while i like the idea of that guy's cleaning at the hotel, I don't think a first date is a good time to let someone in on your idiosynchrosies! And I think i'd prob go crazy if my dh was as ocd as i am

Mirka- I am so very sorry about Dh's biopsy coming back as cancer. How awful. I wish him & you both the best. So does he have to do any time of chemo or radiation treatments? My Dh is off until January 3rd because he didn't use up all of his vacation time and it will go to waste if he doesn't take it. He normally likes to save it for the holidays.

Maggie- Yes, please send your pics to Cat! We want to see him. Oh, good news that your doggie is interested in him! I cannot wait to see how my Jake reacts. It must have been so cute to see the expression on your dogs face the first time he saw/smelled Josh. Yes, the dog is still tied up. Time to send another letter to Humane Society. Dh & I aren't exchanging gifts either this year. Our gift to each other was the Cord Blood Registry for the baby.

Peachy- Hahahaha!! I take it that was the last date with that guy!! Yes, Dh will take a week off when the baby is here. My parent's will be here for 2 weeks and then my sister will come and stay a month afterwards for about a week. No plans for Dh & I, just hanging out.

Cat- I hear you on sanitizing the bathrooms & kitchen!! That is why I don't have a housekeeper, I would just clean all over again. Okay, I don't feel like so much of a freak now! Although in hotel rooms I do wrap tissues around the remote control (20/20 had a special years ago about germs in hotel rooms and the remote was the worst, that and the faucets), Peachy I know I sound like your blind date. Yes, I slept through the entire night last night! Got 8 1/2 hours of sleep. Not even up to pee! Joy's girl's look so adorable & alert! Hope dd slept through the night. Yummy, that food sounded delicious at the party!

MM- Oh we love to hear from you!! Yes, today will be rough on you since it is your last day. Hang in there. That is wonderful that you Dh will be home until Aiden arrives! Will this cut down on your online shopping though?

Nat

Hi ladies!

Mirka - I am so sorry to hear about your DH's skin cancer. I hope they were able to cut it all out. I'll hope for the best for you!

MM- enjoy your last day of work!!!

Ladies, I am happy to hear I'm not the only one that is grossed out by some hotel room items. I did not use the tub last night but, I took a nice long hot shower, put my PJs and a bathrobe on, ordered room service and just relaxed with the TV. It was so wonderful to have a few hours all to myself. DH came to the hotel after his function...around 10pm and we had a really nice conversation about his new job, the baby, etc. We really haven't been able to just relax and talk like we used to since we moved into my ILs house. I wish we had another couple of nights at the hotel!

Boston - Maybe you can do new year eve in a hotel room as a mini celebration? I'm glad you had such a relaxing night. Definitely well deserved by you!

Nat - What a nice way for you and dh to spend the holidays together. Sounds like you'll have lots of baby help! I won't think weird things about your remote story. I also worked with a complete ocd guy who carried tissues everywhere and used one to open every single door handle between our office and the food court for lunch!

Maggie - We're glad to hear you are hanging in even with your nocturnal adventures. Send some pictures to Cat!

Where's Robin with her ob update??

I'm off to drop off the pee jug. Traffic is supposed to be nuts around here today so I want to get to the hospital and back before the chaos. Is anyone else suddenly itchy?? I think it has to do with my swelling but just checking. I don't have any stretch marks (yet) and my belly button never even popped but my stomach is suddenly so itchy. My hands are itchy too and have started peeling everywhere. I think the extremeties have had it with the up and down swelling.

Nathalie- Okay, so now i feel like i need to take antibacterial wipes to hotels for the remote at least I'm glad you got some sleep. I woke up at least 4 time to pee and many other times and i'm not sure why! How did you function on so little sleep? I'm finding it hard to stay awake here at work!

Boston- sounds like some great quality time-- what did you get from room service? Hopefully your inlaws will go to their beachhouse more and allow you and DH some time to talk at their house too!

Peachy- i'm scratching as i type this. Part of my issue is dry skin, but if you develop a rash, there is a preg rash called Puppps that you can get Pruritic Urticarial Papules and Plaques of Pregnancy - PUPPP

Here's hoping that this is your last pee jug!!!!

Yes! For the past few weeks, I have been so itchy...especially my legs. My OB said it isn't that PUPP Cat posted about though...she said that starts on the stomach and I don't have any red bumps. My OB said it's a combination of my skin being so dry (thank you, ILs for keeping your house so darn dry) and my skin stretching a bit from being swollen...I'm definitely retaining fluid in my feet and legs. At night, I just can't stop itching!
