Nat - I am cracking up about dh's ex at Target today! You're right - thank g-d for the good hair day and I'm sure you were dressed cute from lunch too! Haven't we all been there? My evil SIL is actually the sister of my ex so tomorrow at the party there will be my ex's parents and grandparents. Yuck. But, I did buy a cute top for the pictures which she always sends to my ex!

Mirka - I'm so glad you were able to keep your c-section date. Whew. They must know that people plan a lot around these things! I'm glad you just stayed in the car today and let dh run all the errands. Maybe it's a good thing that he didn't buy anything at the gun shop!

Havana - Hmmm... new cervix pains.... I'm telling you... what out for all the kneeling at the midnight mass at your church! Something is in the water at that church and it already got my girlfriend

Maggie - I am so sorry you are going through drama with your family right now too. Everyone should be there to support you and to help you right now. The pictures are adorable. Look at all that hair!!

OK. I'm still fuming at my sil. I really wanted to call her and my brother tonight for a hashing out talk but she is cooking dinner for her parents and grandparents at their place tonight. My parents completely agree with me that they have just pushed the boundaries too far on this one and that they should be happy and excited about our pregnancy like the family was for theirs. So, the sit down will occur next week as soon as her family leaves. It's a little akward b/c her family is my ex's family but I've had it with the kid gloves!! The sad thing is I know it won't change anything. This is just their's personality

Peachy- You will feel so much better after clearing the air, setting things straight and drawing the line. Good for you. How long were you with the ex? This should be the happiest time of yours & Dh's lives, and your sil is creating drama. I cannot believe that someone could be so insensitive. I will be rooting for you all the way!!

Maggie, I am sure your parents and your family are also excited about Josh and want to see him, maybe timing just didnt work out for them well and they feel bad about making excuse why they didnt make it to your house yet and why they cant come in next few days. Its ok, dont take it personally much, sometimes people dont realize that they hurt somebody. Christmas is about "family" so, take it as it is, now you have your own family. Other's are now to you "just relatives".
When they will get there, they will get there. Try not to stress your self.
My mom supposed to come too, but when I did ask her :"..are you worry to be flying by yourself?" ......she didnt want to answer anything and I did hear she is crying there... There was only one thing what I can say to her: - "just stay at home, dont worry about anything....." She would come for sure, but together with father, who "cant" come now, because he did promised at his company he will work until end of March, even he had contract until end of this year, but he is with this company from time he was 17, now he is 70, retired already for 10 years, not in need of money what he is making, but he still think he has to be there !
You see? What can I do? NOTHING. And they are only people who I would want to be here, because nobody has to take care of them, they see on their own what needs to be done and they do it without asking, they dont require any specials or any extra care, they are really good help.

Peachy, you better prepare yourself for time when you will say "NO" for first time to your brother and his wife, when time will come and they will be in need of your help again. I am sure you are the ONE who jump and do it. Always. Right? Well, you will not do it anymore for them. Just let them go on vacation, they know for 9 months that you are pregnant and they did plan theirs vacation on this time. Not you.

When I am standing or walking, it hurts under belly. Cant do much anymore. I will try do rest of what needs to be done on this weekend and than I will lay on couch for few days and only wait. I just hope he can stay there until 27th! Please!

Mirka - I've already been saying no. They asked me to babysit a few Saturdays ago and I told them that I needed my rest. They always say they'll be home earlier and then come home at midnight and that just doesn't work for me. Plus, their daughter has been sick. I am so sorry your family won't make it here until the Spring. I know you would love some help. Does your mom or dad use email? Can you at least share some pictures with them over the computer? I know how slow international mail can be.

Nat - I dated my ex for 4 years. Actually, longer than I've been with my dh. His parent are very sweet to me but I haven't seen the grandparents and the entire clan in a while. He is a real jack*ss to me but he also has only visited Atlanta for one night in the past two years so you can see he's not the nicest to anyone. Any excitement planned for today over at your place? Still having nice weather over there?

I'm meeting up with my best friend from high school who is home for the holidays (she was also a bridesmaid) and then off to the evil party to make an appearance. I'm sure I'll be back later to complain Today is 37 weeks for me!!

Nat-That is AWESOME about DH's wife! I bet she couldnt even STAND it when she saw you! .....I dont know what is going on......me and DH, we both are on second dosage of strong antibiotics and nothing is getting better. Our throats are swollen and they hurts. We go today again visit doctor. Because it is Sunday, we have to go into walk in clinic. I just cant believe it!

Mirka, you caught me! I did do some shopping. Seriously though, I'm cleaning house from top to bottom so my dad can come over (weak immune system) and taking care of dd who has an ear infection... I hope you get better soon! Are you drinking lots of extra fluids? Put yourself on the couch and just drink lots and lots of water and gatorade and get better! Gregor's almost here CAn't wait to see the little guy!

Nathalie- So cool that you saw her when you looked great! W/ my luck, i would have been w/out a shower, in sweats and no make-up! Sounds like you looked fabulous though! HURRAY!!!! Did you mention to DH that you saw her?

Okay- question-- when dd actually let me attempt sleep last night- i keep finding legs and other parts of me falling asleep-- regardless if i attempted left side, right side, pillows no where, pillows supporting me everywhere-- anyone else having this problem? I'd have to move about every 20 minutes...

Havana- what's dh making for christmas morning breakfast? Growing up we always had sweet rolls but dh doesn't like those... he wants eggs and bacon... so i'm thinking we'll have all of the above

dd's latest- I asked her what Santa was going to bring and she said "Presents because it's my birthday"...

Good morning all. Nat... it was fun for you to see dh's ex while looking fab. Yay for you.

Cat... I'm getting the falling asleep limbs thing here too. Even when not trying to go to sleep. Especially hands and feet but also everywhere else too. I haven't the slightest what would be causing. I also got "room-spins" two nights ago. You'd have thought I was drunk. It was very unnerving. I had B.H. contractions that night for hours but nothing else progressed.

Mirka... good luck with the doctor. It sounds like you and dh really caught a strong bug there. I hope you are feeling better soon.

Robin... hope you are feeling well. We are all anxious for an update.

Peach... I'm meeting up with my bestfriend from growing up today too. I haven't seen her in 2 years. She is 15 wks pg I'm very excited for her. Not sure about her dh though but oh well I just cross my fingers for her.

We've started with family christmas celebrations and dh is off of work now until after the holiday. He is taking time off after Stella arrives too. I packed her bag yesterday. I'm working on mine but I know there are a few things under the tree that will be going in there so I've held off a little. Otherwise not too much to report here. DD's birthday is the 25th too so we have a lot to celebrate. She is 10 this year!! She made it clear yesterday that Stella should either arrive before or after the 25th but that she does not want to share her birthday with one more thing. I told her I would do my best.

it's me on the left and DP on the right... we are both Michigan fans... me because i was born in Michingan and DP doesn't have a choice... hehe...

hhhmm... nothing new here yet... i feel great, little one is still moving a lot... don't think we will be seeing him this year... they didn't check my cervix at my last appointment... i am going back on the 26th @ 4pm...
