Robin, so sorry to hear you still haven't progressed any further. At least you have a date now so unless the magic happens this weekend you know you'll meet Alex on Tuesday at the latest.

Mirka- I LOVE your avatar! Very sweet! Sorry to hear about your DH. It does seem like a peculiar coincidence that you both had throat ailments at the same time
Robin- thanks for the update, sorry to hear you weren’t further along. At least you know that little Alex will be here on Tuesday!

Robin: Tuesday!!!! Yipppeee!! Julie will be back before then. I think she'll be glad she didn't miss anything.
I'm jealous you're not uncomfortable! My feet were so swollen and hurt. And my round ligament ached... And her feet were in my ribs... But it was worth it!!! I'd still do it again if I could. Angie

contractions have definately slowed down. took a warm shower and am resting. of course, after I carry dd upto bed, that might be enough to trigger them again
well, just logging in to say they started strong again.... Robin, you must make a very nice home for little alex there! Although, he might not be so little! Glad the induction's getting scheduled- that usually does the trick of starting off labor ![]() Mirka, sorry to hear that DH needs surgery. I've got my fingers crossed that it's a non-malignant tumor. V- how go the contractions? and Nathalie- too funny that you typed that Boston would update us when V went into labor as she's YOUR buddy Not enough sleep, huh?

Hi ladies, Sorry to be so out of touch but I do think of you often. Nicholas and Evan are still in the NICU. They are both doing well but because they have reflux that causes their breathing and heartrate to dip they are still monitoring them. It is very stressful to spend they day there with all the monitors. I think they are well enough to come home and I'm dying to have them here. During the day I do everything for them, changing feeding, even take their temperatures. The doctors don't like to send you home with monitors because it can make you nuts but I hate waking up and going there everyday then leaving them. I hope you are all feeling well and staying warm. Congratulations Mirka and Peachy. Has anyon else arrived? Lynn

Cat- Thanks for the info about the gowns and the monitors.....it is very helpful.
Mirka- Sorry to hear about your tough time at the hospital and your dh. It will all work out...have faith. I love your picture. Robin- You really take the award for slowest progressor. Girl, get with the program...at least we know that it'll be no later than Tuesday. Havana- Is that bag packed yet? Lynn- Thanks for the update on the boys. I understand what you are dealing with as Jayden does the same, but he will come home with a monitor so I will be going nuts. So far, no one else has arrived. We were off to a fast strt at the end of Nov. and some in Dec and then it just slowed down.

Havana - Are you still on here? I see you at the bottom. I just got your text and wrote back. Which upstairs bathroom should I look in or did you find it already? Aiden's bathroom or my master bath?
Robin - Hooray for the induction date!! Now you have all weekend to get everything officially ready. Please tell us you're not going to work on Monday! But, not before you make sure your internet is working from home. Lynn - I'm sorry to hear the boys are still having trouble. I can only imagine how hard that must be on a daily basis. We're all thinking of you. Mirka - We are here for you through everything Your avatar is beautiful and soon you and dh will have more answers. I am so sorry for the timing on everything. Havana is right - when it rains it pours. I'm so glad you have your adorable son to keep you company through it all. But, this is a lot to handle at once so please don't try to be too strong. All of our hormones are in such a mixed up state right now. If you need some extra help, talk to your doctor. Call Ronni too. I know she would love to come over and help for an afternoon. She has a wonderful soul.Cat - did you carry dd upstairs yet? Any more contractions update? I just finished having my parents, grandparents, db and sil (the nice ones!) over for our Sabbath dinner. No, I did not even think of cooking. My Mom cooked at her place and just brought everything over. Actually, when everyone showed up I was nursing so they had to let themselves in and set the table. Totally not my normal entertaining self but the nap had to take precedence. Tomorrow, the meanie db and sil are having brunch for everyone and I'm passing. Need a little quiet time to sit around in my pjs and not have to worry about a shirt I can nurse in! |

Finally, downloaded some photos. Wow. We've just been leaving the camera out so everyone's been taking shots. There were over 500 pictures! OK... here are a couple from the past two days. It's going to take me two posts. You'll see the whole crowd gathered at our house for the bris (other than those like Havana and my Mom hiding in the kitchen!). A shot of my entire family since I'm always talking about everyone
Couple of shots of Aiden and I cuddling and one of his first sponge bath! |

Peach - I love the pictures. Thank you so much for sharing them! Aiden is a love, I can already tell. So happy the bris went well - I got the full story from Havana because she knows how nervous I am about having Reid circumcized. We're actually still deciding about that.
Mirka - I hope that you get the answers that you and DH deserve and soon. I love your avatar. So so sweet. I'll be thinking of you and hoping for the very best outcome for your family. I'm sorry that this happy time has to be clouded by concern about your DH. Sending you lots of love and support. Cat - Did you see it go down the drain? How do you know you lost it in the shower? Havana - I know you already know this, but I love the name Matteos! Robin - Hooray for Tuesday! Nat - I LOVE your long posts....once, twice - as many times as you like to post during the course of the day! As for me, still waiting though having some really strong, can't talk through them contractions tonight. They aren't regular though so I'm not getting too worked up about them yet. I have another OB appt. on Monday morning so we will have a lot to talk about then! I know she's amenable to induction, so that will definitely be on the docket. The wind and rain here right now is crazy! P.S. - DH could care less about whether my legs are shaved, it's because I love the way they feelsand I feel, cleaner or something! Just another OCD thing to add to my list... ![]() P.P.S. - If any of you are going to see P.S. I Love You, you should bring a TON of Kleenex! I literally cried from the beginning credits to the end. Good flick, but sad and sentimental!

Lineali- of course you are busy! And wow, it's hard to believe they won't send them home on monitors. Are they still having bradys?
Bri- my friend said she's more than willing to answer any questions or share any advice she can. that part about knotting the cord and tucking it in the top of the diaper she said helped to cut down on some of the alarms that were due to baby wiggling off the leads. But you still get some false alarms... Peach-- dd and I love the pictures. Aiden is so cute-- that gown and hat look adorable on him and I bet that did make the briss easier. dd keeps asking me to see "more Aiden baby" MM- you're getting there! So, you liked PS I Love you? I heard that she doesn't play a romantic lead well, but i definately wouldn't mind seeing it. I told dh that when i'm sure i'm in labor, we should go to the movies because i'll have hours anyways and it's across the street from the hospital ![]() I'm feeling okay this morning. I woke up a few times last night w/ contractions and for dd to use the bathroom but everything seems fine this am, so maybe i just needed some rest. Havana- i'm not really trying to make myself have him yet, i'm just not laying down all the time either-- nor will I w/ dd around!
