Peachy ... the pics are beautiful. Aiden is such a little cutie!

Think I'm going to head out later today for a walk around the mall. I need to pick up a baby book and have a couple of gift cards to spend. It is going to be 55 here today so DH is taking gutters off the house and painting the facia boards. Male-version nesting I say.

Peach the pics turned out great!! haha-in the ceremony pics Im NOWHERE in sight!! I was in complete stealth mode. I told MM that the bris actually made me feel better about the circumcision. According to your mom (my moderator) Aiden was crying the most when they took off his little diaper! I thought they did it when he started crying and she said no, not yet!! Phew! I actually talked to your mom about hiring your rabbi for baby Matteos. Can you imagine what my Cuban Catholic MIL would think of THAT??? hahaha

MM-I wanted to see PS I love you but I really wanted to go see that Will Smith movie more. My sister said its scary though, so now Im not so sure...DH is totally OCD right now about a germ so I doubt we'll be making it to the movies anytime soon. We are huge fans of netflix so that keeps us entertained. Ok so it looks like the eggplant isnt working...Since DH ate so much of it, maybe he'll have baby Reid!! Wait a minute...you DID say you had contractions you couldnt talk thru...hmmmmm

Vanessa-How are you doing over there? Anything new? I tried to walk in the mall yesterday and it about took me out. I had to sit down twice. I think people are looking at me like Im about to give birth everywhere I go. At work everyone was like OMG--Are you OK?? I was a little paranoid when I got home yesterday, everyone thought I looked different. (?)

Nat-A few people at work asked me about the "bump" on my head. One of my gay friends who is always talking about how great I look (that stopped a few weeks ago now) and how big my boobs are was like: OMG!! Did you fall down?? Are you ok?? What's happening to you??? I told him that it was a vericose vein on my forehead and he was like: Get that baby out!!!

Cat-Are the contractions gone?? Im feeling like a waffle today. What about you?

ps-My own ticker just freaked me out. Uh oh....better go pack the bag!! haha!!

Havana... Everywhere I go people think the baby is going to drop out of me too. We went out for sushi last night and everyone there was just Looking. I hadn't been out of the house all day though so I was up for the eyes. I have to go get my blood drawn for one last hemoglobin check. Need to do that before noon because the lab closes. I'm so glad that we are having a girl so I don't have to think about the circumcision this time around! I have a walking appointment with my sister at the mall at 1:00. I'm sure it won't be nearly as aggressive as I have it imagined to be. We tried the bd method of labor induction last night... nothing so far. Your ticker is looking much more promising than mine. You've got me inspired to go get my bag packed the rest of the way though. I need to make a "last minute to pack" list so we don't forget anything.

Vanessa & Havana- have fun walking at the mall. I walked w/ dd down the street and that was more than enough for me. Now she's napping and i'm attempting to take down christmas ornaments...

V- we don't get the warm weather till tomorrow- i can't WAIT.

Thanks for all the compliments! I've got to work on some more "artsy" photos next week so I can get some announcements ordered. We had a great morning over here. DH just went into work so I had an hour this morning to take a nice long shower, shave, exfoliate, the whole bit!! And, dh had time to just be guys with Aiden. They are really cute together. I'm very impressed with dh. He's really trying to help a lot. He got home around 1am from work last night and I had just finished feeding Aiden. He took Aiden right away and was just talking away to him and trying to convince me to go back to sleep. And, we told me he wanted to wake up early to spend more time together! I'm sure the honeymoon period will end soon but it's fun for now

Havana - Why is that bag still not packed? Get your butt in gear. No more movies or cooking for you until the bag is packed and in the car!

MM - I think you wound up with the bugaboo right? I have to tell you I am loving the bassinett portion of our Mutsy and I know yours would work the same way. We use it in the house all the time and he loves napping in there. Just wanted to let you know.

Cat - I think you're getting close now. Too cute about dd asking about her cyber cousin Aiden! She is going to be a great big sis!

Vanessa - Have fun with the mall walking! Don't let all those people bother you - us girls have to stay distracted right now.

I know a bunch of us on here have dogs. I have to tell you our dog is doing incredible around the baby. He's a whole different dog. It's weird. At first I really thought something was wrong b/c he is being so calm! Last night we had another dog over here and Cooper wouldn't leave the baby's side. He wouldn't let the other dog anywhere near the baby and was actually laying next to the carriage and growling if the other dog came too close. Too funny.

Wow, Peachy, Aiden is so adorable! Great family pics.

Has anyone bought/used a good baby carrier? I just ordered the parents of invention baby mei tai- anyone know anything about it? I think it will be great to be able to carry Josh around and have my hands free to get some things done. One other product that I really like is an infant to toddler rocker that I got at BRU. He fits better in it than a bouncy seat at this point and it vibrates and plays music, too. I want to get another one for upstairs.

So, any baby predictions for this weekend?

Maybebaby- My hair doesn't look any different. Just less gray & trimmed a little. Hope you are getting a little bit of the warm weather that Vanessa & I are getting.

Boston- Oops!! I meant to type that we expect to hear from Havana about you soon! I know that I am Vanessa's buddy (sorry V!!). Gosh, there is so much confusion on the humidifiers. Thanks for letting us know though.

Mirka- I am so sorry about Dh's tumor. That word alone sounds scary enough. I hope & pray that all turns out well with the pathology report. I LOVE your avatar.

MM- Hey maybe that eggplant did work! How are you feeling now? Thinking about you with all of that rain & wind you guys are getting in the West Coast. I shave my legs for me too!! Though I think my Dh would care if I stopped. I think I will go and see that movie next week. Thanks for letting us know.

Vanessa- Be careful walking today. Definitely sounds like Dh is nesting over there. Enjoy your warm weather. We have it too, just really windy though and cloudy. Not complaining though. Dh wanted to try b'ding last night too, but when I got upstairs he was sound asleep in bed. lol!

Cat- Okay sounds like Tysen isn't sure about coming out or not this weekend. I didn't even realize that I had typed that about Vanessa being Boston's buddy! I was probably sleepwalking. hahaha

Robin- Dang! Only 1 cm??! Tuesday is just around the corner though.

Peachy- Hahaha!! So you are missing the "meanie" brunch today, good for you! Great pics! We finally got to see Aiden without a hat on. Lots of hair! Your Dh sounds absolutely adorable with Aiden. I was going to ask you today about how Copper is with the baby, whew! So glad to hear that he has fallen in love too!

Havana- LOL!! Gay guys are brutally honest! Hilarious though! I have several friend's at work. I always knew that if I wanted the truth to just call them up. You poor thing, no way to hide that vein huh? How about bangs? PACK YOUR BAG!!

We are STILL tossing around boy names (girl name we have). Sean Gregory is first choice
Brett Gregory is second
I also like Harrison but Dh is not too keen on it.

Okay, i just packed up all of xmas stuff, including the tree. now i need to sit cuz the contractions are coming on again...

Maggie- I have the infant to toddler rocker but dd considers it her chair so I don't think that this baby will get to use it! We also have another bouncer chair though so i'm not too worried.

Peach- very great that your dog is being so protective and good w/ Aiden! And too cute about DH and spending time w/ his boy. Sometimes a hot shower is just the best thing

Its warmer here today (36) about it’s suppose to go as high as 52 on Tuesday!

MM- looks like a few of us have OB appts. On Monday, it will be interesting to see what happens My dh & I want to see PS I love you as well, it does look like a real tear jerker.

Lynn- thanks for the update. Hopefully you can bring the boys home soon!

Cat- glad your feeling better!

Havana- you may be taking a plastic bag to the hospital

Peachy- It’s great that dh is helping out so much!

Maggie- we have baby carriers, a snuggli and a little “kangaroo” style one

Nat- I thought you did something more dramatic, but a refresher is great too!

I have to start getting ready now- I’m heading out to dinner with my girlfriends and it takes me a little longer to get ready these days. I have a feeling something may happen today, but who knows, could just be my anxiety

I am still in my sweat pants! Just doing little things around the house today. Dh finally left and is hanging out at Lowe's. I made the lists for Dh, my parent's, his mom & my sister to call after the birth.

Everytime I get up in the middle of the night I have SO much pressure when I have to pee Im convinced my water is going to break, but nope. Ive only had like 1-2 contractions today. Still nothing.....

Maybebaby- a night out w/ the girls? Fun! have fun! I too have a baby bjorn. I don't have the active one but i think i may get that. I have the regular one but I remember w/ dd it wasn't enough back support.

Nat- I am NOT next! Despite all the pain and contractions, he's staying in there. Although I did just put the carrier together w/ head rest thing and the bundle me and I'm boiling pacifiers as we speak. I do NOT have the carrier base in the car yet... it's on the list for tomorrow...
