Bri - What wonderful news!! Jayden is finally coming home! I hope you have a wonderful first night with him cozy at home.

Robin - I think we are all so excited for you today!! Take a nice long luxurious shower and then be sure to pack your hairdryer Can't wait for your hospital update later!

Havana - Don't worry. We'll find a way to speed walk those calories away! I'm actually excited for my OB appt this week for the weigh in. I can't wait for your news today too.

Boston - I can't believe your due date is tomorrow. Any induction talks on your end?

Vanessa - Very funny with your crafty projects. I'm sure our dh's are all a little surprised at our transitions. Got any good baby books left to read? Sterilzing to do?

Maggie - I can not believe you are at the gym every other day and only have 10lbs. to go. So impressive.

Cat - We miss you today!

Great news on our end too. Aiden is finally over his birth weight! He's up to 7lbs. today which means he gained 6ozs. since Friday and the Ped. was only looking for 3ozs. His double chin is starting to really show

We stopped by my parents house on the way home to say all of our goodbyes to the grandparents. Now it's nice and quiet at my house. Phew. I actually don't mind people holding Aiden and everyone has been great about washing their hands. The Ped. did remind me today that absolutely no one sick anywhere near the baby. She said if the baby's temp gets up to 100.4 than you go straight to the Pediatric hospital and call her on the way but they will be admitting your baby. Scary. The problem yesterday was Aiden will usually nod off for a nap about 30mins after a feeding but with all the company and passing he never dozed off and thus the meltdown. Lesson learned. Once he's asleep, you can be as loud as possible around him and he doesn't wake up but I guess he needs a few minutes of quiet to get in the sleep zone

I'm so glad Aiden is up over his birth weight now! Great news! You must love the little double chin...chubby babies are the cutest!

Okay, i'm back around

Maggie- Old navy is where i got transition clothes w/ dd too. In fact, they worked well during the first trimester of this pregnancy too! hope you found something! I'm still impressed that you're making it to the gym!

Robin, MM, Havana & Boston- can't wait to hear how your appts go!

Peach- you're excited about yourself getting weighed? Did i read that right? I have no plans to get near a scale until I can fit into some of my old clothes

Joy's almost back to pre-preg weight? WOW! I mean i know she looks amazing in the photos but WOW. Well, after these babies start arriving THEN we can ask her for her tips. I'm not worrying about weight until after this guy is here!

Vanessa- have you tried knitting? Although w/ the weather today, it really is hard to believe it's Jan! I put the bundleMe on the carseat and today it's 70 degrees! But it's easy enough to take off if necessary. I can't believe you still have room in your freezer, you've been freezing meals for a while. My problem is i never feel like making dinner anymore so i've been making all the freezer meals Speaking of which, time to pull something out for dinner.

Okay, so I was in an elevator today and someone asked how far along i was and then started talking about how his sister starting leaking fluid at 16 weeks and all I could think was "boy, this is not a good story" Luckily, sister and baby were okay- baby born at 28 weeks and today is a happy, healthy 5 year old, but he had me worried... I'm such a watering pot right now. I attempted to watch Desperate housewives and started bawling in the first few minutes. Decided I'd have to watch it later. I think the hormones and the lack of sleep are really starting to get to me.

Bri- Congratulations on bringing Jayden home! Wonderful news!!

MM- Where are you today?

Peachy- Congrats on Aiden hitting the 7lb mark! Wow, you got yourself an eater on your hands!

Vanessa- With all of the stuff you are doing you are definitely nesting over there and getting ready to deliver, very soon!

Havana- I feel so bad about your vein on your forehead. I am so jealous of Joy for only having 4 lbs to go!! Please let it be that way for the rest of us!!

Cat- Desperate Housewives was good last night! I can see why though it was a little teary-eyed for you in the beginning. Yes, that was a scary story in the elevator that you heard. Why must people feel they need to tell pregnant women stuf like that?

Lots of babies coming really soon! So exciting.

Nat

OB appt update

So the update is that I am scheduled to be induced tomorrow night. My OB was not worried about the baby’s weight per se, but more the rate of growth AND my blood pressure has gone up slightly. I’m heading out again, I will catch up on all the posts when I get back!

Our first Canadian baby is on the way!! So exciting Maybebaby. No snow storms tomorrow right? I can't wait to hear everything.

Mirka - I used my pump (finally) today and got 2ozs. from pumping both sides at the same time for 15 mins. First bottle down! How are those twin calves?

Cat - I'm only excited to get weighed b/c I gained 60lbs. by the end and I can start to see ankles so I feel hopeful. just the baby & placenta is 10lbs. gone right?

Where are the rest of our updates? Late appts?

Quick post before I eat dinner...

Maybebaby - WOW!!! So exciting!!! I'll keep my cell phone on! I'm can't wait to find out if you're carrying a boy or girl in there!!!

Mirka - yep...I'm still pregnant.

My Dr's appt went well. I am now 3cm dialated and just about 100% effaced. If I don't go into labor on my own, they'll induce me next Tuesday (Jan 15th). I'm hoping I go into labor late on Friday night and then Saturday my regular OB will be able to deliver the baby!

Hi Girls!

Sorry for the late post. We had a big day. I officially lost my plug (and boy it was not pretty)! I'm 2cm dilated and 80% effaced and we have an induction date! We will go in on Thursday at midnight and they'll give me Cervadil to ripen my cervix and then something to help me sleep. Friday morning it's off to the races and hopefully a sweet baby boy by the end of the day!!! Friday is also DH's birthday and he REALLY wanted to share the date with Reid, so it's perfect. Now I just have a feeling that this little booger is going to come the day before we go to the hospital. He already has a mind of his own, I can tell. So we spent the rest of the day running more errands - the list never ends. Peachy - I got those JJ washcloths!

Okay, now onto EVERYONE ELSES big news!!!

MAYBE -- WOW! WOW! WOW!!!! YOU'RE HAVING YOUR LITTLE ONE TOMORROW!!!!! I am so excited for you. I cannot wait to find who will be wearing the little hats I knitted!

Boston - You're making really amazing progress...I bet that you won't make it to the 15th. I can't believe you're not having contractions and you're so far along.

Peach - Hope you're enjoying some well-deserved down time with Aiden today! I was just wondering how your swelling was doing...are you back to your real wedding rings yet? I'm wearing my push present early because my regular rings don't fit anymore. It was made to be worn on my right middle finger, so it fits my ring finger great! How did the pumping go today? Oh and I love hearing about Cooper and Aiden! Please post more stories! We can't wait for Miss Ginger to be a big sister!

Mirka - Any news on DH and his neck? I am thinking of you daily. Oh and I love the pictures of the dog (Max?) with Gregor. They are both adorable, though I think Gregor has the dog beat by a margin. Congrats on the twin calves!

Cat - I am a total faucet and cried at the beginning of Desperate Housewives too! I just saw a commercial for Match.com and started tearing up....what the? I am starting to feel like a truly, honest to goodness, crazy person. I thought you were away from the computer all day today but so glad you're not!

Bri - Hooray for Jayden coming home!!!

Nat - I'm still thinkiing about that dog...do tell when you have the scoop! How are you feeling and how's the weather there?

Robin - TOMORROW'S YOUR BIG DAY!!!

MORE BIG NEWS....

Looks like this is THE week around here.... Havana got admitted tonight!! And, she did not have her bag packed (or in the car) She wanted me to tell all of you.

She went to her OB appt and our OB was open to picking a day this week. They brought in the u/s just to make sure all was fine and the amniotic fluid had decreased significantly from last week. The OB didn't want the fluid levels to get any lower b/c she was worried it might affect the umbilical cord getting wrapped somehow. So, she sent havana and her dh straight over to the hospital! They are giving her the cervidel tonight to rippen her cervix (she was only 1cm dilated) and some ambien to sleep and then will start the real labor in the morning!

I am breastfeeding and typing right now. My Mom is going to come to babysit and then I'll head up to the hospital so Havana's dh can go get their bags and she won't be alone. They've called all the family and everyone will hit the road in the morning. Very exciting!!

So...we'll have Robin, Maybebaby, and Havana tomorrow!!

And, MM on Friday!

MM - I sent you an email back. I've managed to shove on my push present too on my ring finger. I just can't get it and my wedding ring on together yet. The plan is to size my engagement ring for my right hand now. I got an upgrade with this ring (very shocked!). Oh, and my watch I've worn since high school lost a pin today. Guess all that swelling got to it too! I'm sending Reid messages to stay put. You better rest up the next few days. That's it for errands, eggplants, and spicy food for you!

Wow, what amazing activity on this thread. Has anyone heard from Robin since her appointment? I can't believe we'll have three inductions tomorrow! How neat. Plus another later in the week. It'll be a baby boom of a week. Congratulations to you all.

Wow what a BUSY day around here! Yay for all of you. Havana, Robin & Maybe.... I'll be cheering for you tomorrow. MM... lay low for the rest of the week so DH and DS will share the same birthday. How cute is that. Of course Havana didn't have her bag packed... she was in total denial. I'm finishing mine up as soon as I finish this post. They checked my amniotic fluid levels last week and said they were better than expected. I guess that won't be getting things moving anytime sooner. Best wishes to everyone. Tomorrow will be crazy.
