Here's the latest Havana update:
I talked to her around 10am. The doctor took out the cervidel around 7am and started the pitocin. Havana was still only 1cm dialated The plan was to turn up the pitocin and get her moving a little to see if that helped. The OB was coming back to check on her at 11am. They would start the epidural then and after it was started the OB would break her water. Hopefully, we'll have a baby to report by early evening! Havana's sister got in this morning and her Mom should be here by the afternoon too. I promise I'll keep updating as I hear the news and I'll go visit her again tomorrow.

MM - You don't need to take your pump to the hospital. If you're at the hospital for a while, they will give you a high powered Medela pump anyways. They did for me to try out. I'm just planning on pumping once a day for now just to have some bottles to supplement with. It's easy but another thing that takes some of your personal time.

Bri - Jayden looks fantastic!! I am so glad he is home and getting comfy with the family.

Robin - Today is the big day! We're watching for updates!

Maybebaby - Your excitement starts up tonight! Glad you're getting all the last minute stuff settled up.

Boston - Hope that bag finally made it into your car...

Uh Oh. My little guy is waking up. I managed to run some errands while dh watched him this morning. Aiden and I have to take our first car trip on our own this evening to pick up the dog from daycare. I'm a little nervous but it's got to get done eventually. Be back later

Wow Robin, you are making progress on your own without the poticon, that's great news. Hopefully things will keep on going. How are you handling the contractions?

Peachy, thanks so much for your updates on Havana. I look forward to logging on and hearing some great news soon.

Yeah Robin! I"m impressed you're still online.

Peach- thanks for the Havana update, keep them up! How are you going to hold Aiden's carrier & the dog's leash? I always found picking the dog up from daycare to be impossible unless someone brought the dog to the car-- has your dog been in the car w/ Aiden yet?

I'm sooooooooo tired after a big lunch and was just informed of a meeting in 30 minutes I will have to get a soda if i'm going to keep my eyes open. hmm, or maybe i should go walk on the treadmill and start the contractions back up so i can miss the meeting ... well i attempted walking on the treadmill, after about 30 seconds i had to stop because of the pevlic pressure pain... no contractions, just not being able to move. guess i have to go to the meeting

No updates yet from Havana... I don't think I'll hear anything again till Matteos arrives.

My plan is to leave Aiden in his car seat for two seconds in the car while I run into doggie daycare to get Cooper. Is that horrible? They'll have Cooper leashed and ready to go for me. Cooper has been in the car w/ the car seat but not with the baby yet.

The Rabbi just came back to check up on Aiden. All's good. I'm off for a quickie nap but I'll let you know as soon as I hear anything!

Way to go Robin!! you're doing great!!

peach- you can't leave aiden in the car!!! Can you pull up to the front and they'll bring him out?

So, the "meeting" was a surprise baby shower! I got a carseat (one for dd actually so that baby can use her convertible seat that she's almost outgrown) and lots of towels and blankets and other fun things! and diapers and a gift card. Kinda wasn't expecting one at this point. Here's the cake that they got!

Cat- Oh how incredibly sweet of them to throw you a suprise shower!! And here we all thought it was a meeting. Sneaky co-workers! That cake is beautiful! I wouldn't even want to cut it.

Cat ... how nice to get a suprise shower! The cake is TOO cute. Good thing you didn't opt out huh?

MM... maybe we will both go on Friday. That would be terrific.

Robin... sounds like things are progressing perfectly. Yay for you! AC is on the way

Peach... thanks for the havana updates. Hopefully things will pick up for her quickly. Good luck with doggie pick up. I bet they would bring him out to you...

The visit with my friend/new baby was great. Avery is so little. I can't remember dd being that little but I know that she was. It is impossible to imagine. My MIL is having a hysterectomy tomorrow morning. I am sure that I will probably go into labor tonight. That's how things go right? Hopefully I can hold off to the end of the week now. We had forgotten about the surgery. Whatever is going to happen will though... we'll all just have to deal.
