Peachy- Hope you had another good night. Jayden has not had a good night in a minute. Sleep deprivation sucks. He ate at 1030pm last night, was back up at 230am and did not goo back down until 5:30am....

I am going in for my 6 week check up today...almost 1 1/2 months late. Brianna has her eye surgery tomorrow at 8:45am. I have never in my life been this busy and not been working. Work at this point seems like a vacation.

I hope that everyone is doing well. I see that with our new found parenthood...the posts are at a minimal. I hope thatwe do stay in touch as we are all connected by our journeys to get these little personalities here.

Question- who all have little snowflakes and when or are any of you going to try again?

Bri- hope dd's surgery is okay and so is your 6 week appt.

tysen's been pretty fussy ALL day long. It's been a long, long day... and now it's icing outside so there goes my idea of drive-thru starbucks. don't want to be on the road in ice- especially w/ the idiot drivers around here.

our appointment went well... Alex is 12lbs 7oz (97th percentile!!!) & 22 1/2 inches long! Dr. said he is perfect next appointment is in a month.

Well, at least misery loves company Interesting to hear I'm not the only one with sleep issues. We got one 5 hour stretch last night, then a two hour, and then he was wide awake from 7am on. My Mom says it's pure revenge and that I never slept or napped as a toddler! Anyone else notice how different their babies are with their dhs? Aiden loves to nap for him. I'm sure he can sense my bulging eyes saying sleep, sleep, sleep....

Talked to Havana today and she's hanging in to. Very little sleep for her too and she's having the acid reflux issues too.

Can't wait to hear how big everyone's babies are at those one month check ins. Alex is going to be huge! Hope the weather stayed at bay for everyone and you took lots of purell.

Cat - Sorry for the iciness and fussiness on your end. At least Tysen sleeps in the car seat. Aiden has given up on that too. Any luck with the swing yet?

MM- Thinking of you! Call me anytime you want to vent and we can swap lack of sleep stories. Any word from Nat? I'm jealous over your girls day. I think we're going to see Michael Clayton tonight but I would love to see 27 dresses!!

Bri - We'll be thinking of your family tomorrow with the surgery. I hear you on being busy! My house has never been such a mess in my life and I'm not working. We don't have any snowflakes. My dh is 38 and we've had several long talks about other kids. Right now, we're both in agreement for an only child. Just too many ups and downs in the pregnancy and I'm not the best with the baby stage. Plus, to go back through ivf when we still haven't paid off the 1st one just isn't feasible right now.

Robin - How great that your Mom can babysit for the first month! You'll love having her right there in your house and you'll miss the last of flu season.

Got to go fold some laundry. Super exciting stuff. I even managed to write 26 of my 56 thank you notes yesterday while dh was around. Tonight is our "date night" with Mom babysitting. I have my 7 week followup appt on V-day with the ob. Anyone got any important questions? I'm going to ask about bcp (to control my endo), stopping the milk production, and recheck my thyroid. Let me know if I'm missing something.

Hey Girls!

Just wanted to provide a quick Mirka update. I talked to her today and promised that I would say "Hi" to all her girls and let you all know what's going on with her.

Things are very rough. She couldn't talk long but I did learn that she had her throat surgery today and while she says it hurts, she sounded good. She did say she could see why her DH was in so much pain! Hers was a small lump that needed to be removed. Her DH's was much more significant. Her DH's pathology results came back last week stating that it WASN'T cancer but rather a residual tumor that developed from an infection. The doctor disagreed and said that he'd seen enough of these situations to know when to ask for a second opinion. They just got the results of that 2nd pathology opinion this afternoon and they're confirming the doctor's suspicion that it IS CANCER. Needless to say, it's been a very difficult week for Mirka and her family. She's crying a lot and her DH is being very negative and morbid about the future which really upsets Mirka even more.

But...you all know Mirka! She's pleading with her DH to please, please, please get better so she can divorce him! She's very frustrated and said she'd tie a brick to her neck and jump in the lake if she could. There just doesn't seem to be any relief for them in sight yet.

On a good note, she said Gregor is sleeping well and is a little fussy during the day but is otherwise a very happy, healthy baby. Her parents are helping with Gregor a lot and he's being spoiled rotten which is great!

Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers and know that she is thinking of all of you and missing "her girls"!

Thanks Ronni for our Mirka fix! Tell her we miss her lots too and she's always in our prayers and thoughts. I hope there is only good news in her (and your) future ahead! I miss you girls from my other online family. Aiden is on his second set of acid reflux meds so as soon as I get things under control I'll be back with ya'll in my normal gossip mode. Besides, I've got to figure out what happened with your job. I saw the news quickly and tried to read back but couldn't find your post. I know things must be rough with dh too and the mortgage business. I'm thinking of both of you!

Ronni- Yes, let Mirka know we are all thinking about her and wishing her only the best. I hope things get better soon.

Bri- I hope Briana's surgery goes well tomorrow. we have 2 snowflakes and we are thinking of trying IVF again at the end of the year. I definately want another child.

Robin- Wow, Alex is a big boy! Glad he is doing well. How great that your mom offered to care for him and you get to postpone daycare.

Maybe-How did your appointment go?

Peachy-It's nice that you get to have a date night. We don't have anything regular at this point, but my mother is going to watch Josh this Sat so we can go out for a Valentine's dinner and maybe a movie. I don't think I'll be able to talk dh into 27 dresses, though!

We had our 2 month pediatrician appt today and got the first round of immunizations (2 shots and a drink). The poor little guy was so upset after the shots, and he is sleeping away right now. He is 11.5 pounds and 22 1/4 inches, and is doing well.

Peachy- I had my check up today which included her holding Jayden for like an hour....she had not seen him since he was transported to the NICU, a pap, and I am now scheduled for an U/S on Monday as I may have cysts again on my ovaries. I spend the better part of Sunday on percocet, and on the couch. She also put me on meds to increase my milk as it has been cut in half since Jayden came home which is most likely caused by the sleep deprivation and stress form running the two little ones from one appointment to another.

Robin- Great on mom offering to watch Alex.

Maggie01- sounds like a good check up. Are you looking to do stims again along with the 2 snowflakes or just the snowflakes?

Cat- we have been under tornado warnings here today and will likely continue to be until the morning. I hate this weather.

Bri - I tried taking the same medicine Reglan (sp?) to increase my milk supply too. Just wanted to let you know I didn't have any side effects. I hope your u/s goes well on Monday. I'm going back on the pill to try to avoid my endo coming back quickly so I know your pain.

Robin - Alex is huge! So amazing.

Cat - Any improvement from Tysen?

DH has been off for the past 3 days but heads back in today It's been great to have the extra set of hands. I'm almost done with thank you notes. Phew. Now I just have to catch up on housework one of these days. The sad thing is I have to go to the "other" house today to clean toilets before the inspection on Friday so it doesn't look like anything is wrong with the plumbing from my laziness

I am sorry about the daycare falling thru. I know that feeling so very well. I am still looking for a good daycare around here. I am so tired of my husbands mom keeping our two. I am ready to have my house and life with the kids back. I feel like the babysitter when we get home cause she tells me what I should do and that I am not doing things right. But as soon as I can find a daycare then all heck is going to break loose. I have held it in for 4mths now...

I just got Aiden down for a nap and he woke up 20 mins later. Ugh. Now he's asleep again in my arms but the dog just puked on the floor. Hmm.... want to put Aiden down to clean up doggie puke put scared to... fun Mommy days....
