you know, i didn't... it's a church and God sees everything. it's just sad to know that people who supposed to be the most loving and understanding are rejecting MY SON because they don't agree with who his parents are... that's all... after all, it wasn't his "choice" to be born to gay parents.

Robin that is just SO SO wrong!! Ugh!! Ignorant people!! That's discrimination

Robin- Sorry to hear about that....ignorance...is all that I can say. I hope that you find something else soon. By your swim team i assume the donor sperm is what you are talking about...right? Are you using the same one that you used for Alex and did you go to a facility or is it a donor that you know? Who is going to carry the next one? That is so exciting for you and your dp. Jayden was it for us and I still feel cheated out of the last two months.
DD's surgery went well. Her little eyes are blood shot and draining some blood...but she is a trooper. They gave her demerol and lortab(sp) when she came to for the pain, and I hate to admit it...she was amusing. It was like watching a drunk 7 year old. She'll be home tomorrow for sure and we'll see if she's ok enough to go back on Friday as that is their test day.

Alicia - They are adorable!! Rest up lots in the hospital. Don't be afraid to send them to the nursery if you need a little nap. You'll love having the extra hands at the hospital!
Another rough sleep night over here I thought we were supposed to be beyond this at 7 weeks. I keep reading about people whose babies slept through the night at 2 months. Guess I'm still holding out hope for the 3 month marker. Now, can I make it 5 more weeks with no sleep?? Sounds like eternity right now! He's not escaping the miracle blanket but just doesn't need sleep or naps. We need some baby ambien over here! |

Robin, I am so upset to read this. Our daycare has an opening if you don't mind the commute to PA! Our big Alex's could rough each other up all day.

Alicia- Your girls are adorable. Congratulations.
Robin- That is horrible! I can't believe they can do that, it's so discriminatory. Must be b/c they are a private day care? Thank goodness your mom can care for him initially. I hope you find something else soon. Peachy- Sorry to hear Aiden is not sleeping. I don't know if you're using the crib yet, but two lifesavers for us have been his classical music mobile and now we just added the fisher price aquarium that plays music. that one works well in the am b/c he likes to watch it, so he will stay in bed a little longer and mummy can get a little extra sleep. don't know if that's helpful or not, but just some ideas. did you ever get a bouncey seat that you liked? We're using the aquarium one, and it's ok. He seems to like looking at the bubbles and spinning fish, but I would rather something more interactive. Bri- Glad to hear dd's surgery went well. No, I'm not going to do stims this time, we'll just try the snowflakes this time and see how that works out. |

Maggie - I've got that FP aquarium and haven't tried it yet. Guess that's next up. He's still at the phase where he has to be dead asleep to even put him down.... I got the eddie bauer bouncey seat. He'll sit there for about 10 mins which seams to be his max at everything.

Robin - I'm incensed about what happened to you. Wrong doesn't begin to touch how horrible that is. I'm sorry.
Peach - Okay, I am going to call you soon to commiserate. Our sleeping schedule is like yours - one day great, two days of hell. Bri - So happy that DD's surgery went well and that she's a trooper. Maggie - I can't remember - are you going back to work? Cat - How's Tysen? Ronni - Thank you for the Mirka update. She's been on all our minds so much. We are rooting for our girl. I talked to Nat yesterday. Her sister has been in town but she leaves today and she'll have her house back to herself again. Sean is going through that "fussy in the afternoon and night" thing too. She's going to try and catch up with all of us today. I can't remember who asked this about snowbabies, but we have one perfect blast left. We're planning to try on our own for a few months when Reid is a year old (you never know, right?). Then if we don't get pg on our own after a few months, we will do another fresh cycle and add our snowbaby to the mix then. If we do get pg on our own, we will go back for our snowbaby for a third little one. It is SO great to be able to compare notes with all of you...makes me feel like I'm not totally crazy all the time! Happy Valentine's Day! ![]() MM

MM- Yes, I go back in mid-March. I will be glad to get back, but wish I was only doing part-time. It will be wierd not to see Josh the whole day. At least his grandma will be with him initially.

Happy Valentines Day ladies!!
Our ped appt went well my baby is now 7 lbs 9.5 oz !! We go back on March 12 th to get her first shots-Prevnar & a 5-in-1 shot that covers diphtheria, Tetanus, whooping cough, polio and hib. And how cute are those little hats!!! Bri- we don’t have any frozen embies, but we do want another child…we’ll see... Glad Brianna is doing well How’s little Jayden?Peachy- I had my follow up appt yesterday and didn’t know what to ask! Argghh!! Cat-has Tysen settled a bit? Can’t wait to hear the results of the miracle blanket Robin- glad your appt went well but I’m upset to hear about daycare- I can see the frustration in your post- I think that’s disgusting if Alex’s parents are the reason for “no space” Hi Maggie & MM! ![]()
