Cat- A GIGANTIC thank you for posting the pics. I hated to even ask you to do that with all that you have going on but thank you nonetheless. The one of him sleeping is actually him in a Moses Basket. One of our friends (the one who made him the Giraffe quilt) made it for him. He is not too crazy about his crib yet. Hoping he grows to love it.

Thank you Maggie & Alicia. Alicia hope you are feeling less & less pain as the days wear on.

Peachy- How is Mr. Aiden doing? His pics were so adorable! Cannot believe how much he has grown.

Mirka- Hello! We are all thinking of you.

Nat

Mirka- you are always in my thoughts and prayers. And right now you deserve sainthood- I LOVE my parents but could NOT live w/ them for an extended amount of time and if my mil showed up to stay, i'd be disappearing each day w/ the baby... Just know that we're thinking of you and I'm hoping and praying that everything works out.

Nat- No problemo I'm not sleeping anyways, and it literally takes me less than 5 minutes to shrink and upload all the photos-- so really, don't think twice about it!

Tysen's 1 month appt is on tuesday. I just put a 3-6 month sleeper on him today and the arms are SHORT!!!! I think it must be the brand or i must have shrunk the thing. I went to gymboree's sale and got some really cute 3-6 month clothes for him to wear now i'm charging the battery as we speak and will hopefully photograph my bald baby tomorrow some and upload pictures I really need to start his photo album... and update dd's... very behind...

Nat - OMG. Sean is soooooooo darling. I want to eat him up!!! I love his little hands on his chin! Serious swooning over here. You didn't tell me you'd had professional pictures taken. When did you get those done? Hope you had a great visitor-free weekend!

Alicia - I had the WORST engorgement ever...and still get engorged on a regular basis. What's worked great for me and I do notice the difference when I slack and don't do these things: a) take ibuprofen for the swelling/engorgement (it's fine for the babies) b) ice your bbs after nursing/pumping. I bought these special ice packs that look like little white tires that go in your bra and around your nipples (I think they're made by Gerber) and they are fantastic. I got them at Target and they were around $10. Those two magic things have really helped me cope with the pain and discomfort of engorgement. And if you've been keeping up with the thread, this has been my main problem since having Reid! Good luck and let me know if these tricks help you at all!!! Welcome to the sore bbs club!

Cat - I'm glad the Miracle blanket helped a little. I have two and Reid soiled both of them last night so I had to swaddle the old fashioned way and it was the pits! Can't wait to see Tysen pics! It's been awhile girlfriend.

Mirka - You don't owe me anything! You've said thank you about a million times and that is more than enough! Take care of yourself and Gregor and know we all love you and send you our prayers and good thoughts.

Peach - DHs can be SO clueless sometimes! My DH always says things like "babe, I'll take Reid until 4 a.m. tonight so you can get a long stretch of sleep" but then brings him to bed wailing and I can hear him of course and I can also hear DH starting to lose patience. Seriously - they need to teach a course on how to actually be helpful and let your wife get some sleep!!! I hope both our sleep situations get better soon. Congrats on a good follow up OB appt!

I had my follow up with OB on Friday and brought Reid to the RE's office afterwards to let him meet his other "baby daddy" - teehee. It was fun to let my favorite nurses meet him too. The embryologists even left the lab to come out and meet him. I like to call them our first babysitters. Life comes full circle... Still not getting a ton of sleep over here. I think Reid has a little cold or something and it made for a very challenging nursing situation last night. And he's also going through this thing where he doesn't take a morning nap! Today he was up from 9 a.m. until almost 2 p.m. Hoping that this means we get some long stretches of sleep tonight!!!

Hi Maybe, Maggie and Bri!

Cat- Oh my gosh, thanks for posting those as well! You didn't have to since you had posted the last ones. Okay, what are you feeding Tysen that he is outgrowing everything??! We want to see pics!

MM- How cool that everyone got too see Reid! Sounds like he is going through a growth spurt as well for staying up as long as he did. No professional shots. When my sister was here she went out and bought black sheets (Target), draped it on the crib as background and draped one over the ottoman and put it front of the crib & took black & white's. I am going to use a couple of those & 2 other ones for the birth announcements from invitingsmiles.com I hear you on the Dh thing. Mine thinks he has tons of patience but then asks at 3am "why is he crying?". So I really pissed him off, turned on the light and pretended I was looking inside of a crystal ball. hahahaha! I think my delirium is a front for my sense of humor.

GMK- Thanks!

Nat

Hahaha!! I'm laughing at the dh stories! Love the magic ball! I think I've given dh enough hell to never bring the baby back to bed again. At least if he ever wants to in bed again! He's finally starting to listen (a little) to my systems and using the crib. It's tough b/c the nursery is on the opposite end of our house so it's a lot of running back and forth, down one flight of stairs and up another flight, all night long... Geez....

We still are having the 3 hour stretch and then every 2 hours after that. He doesn't even eat the full 4 ounces at the feedings so I know he can make it longer. I'm trying to get him to take the paci when he wakes up so maybe I'll get a 4 hour stretch in there once he gets used to it going a little longer. Aiden will be 8 weeks on Thursday so it's got to get better soon. Right?

Nat - How adorable!! I am so impressed that your sister took those pictures! They are going to be adorable announcements.

MM - My lack of sleep buddy!! I can't believe Reid soiled both the miracle blankets in one night. My worst nightmare! We've only got 2 also. It's the only way I can get his little hands under control. I wish it had an even longer stretch of fabric so I could wrap his legs really well too. I'll let you know if I find any other magic answers. I do keep classical music playing in the nursery pretty loud at night too so he knows that's a sign of night time.

Mirka - Thinking of you. Let us know when you hear more. I'm glad you are feeling better and have some help there now - even if it is tough with all the family dramas.

Got to run. I've got tree guys taking down 2 dead trees over at my real house today. After all these recent tornadoes, I was getting a little nervous. Well, 2 trees down and 1 fence along the way! Figures. Anyway, I went out and played tough guy - new baby, need the fence fixed by the end of the day for the dog, think you want to get paid... etc. Fence is being fixed shortly. The tree guy said he just "underestimated" the height when he brought it down. Glad he didn't underestimate where my house is!

Hello Ladies......

Alicia- I agree with Peachy. I tookthe percocet for several days just not right before I pumped. Do what you have to to ease the pain...it'll get easier...I promise.

Mirka- We are all thinking of you...know that we are here for you. Sending your way.

Nat- What beautiful pics you posted. He is so cute.

MM- I had to laugh when you told the story of your appointment. When I followed up with my OB last week, she spend an hour holding Jayden as it was her first time seeing him since he was transported to another hospital right after delivery.

Peachy- Well, I am keeping my appointment for my scans this afternoon, however, my ovaries were appearantly in over drive last weekend cause on Saturday night out of no where I started bleeding...real bad. It appears that is back in my life for the first time since last April...and it sucks. I called the place where I am to have my u/s done today and they said that they wanted me to come in regardless. The endometriosis is back in full force. I don't know how long I can or will deal with this.

On another note we are making break thrus at night. For the past three nights, Jayden has eaten between 1130 and 12 and not eaten again until 7am. Once in a while he'll wake up cry for a min and go back to sleep. I think that perhaps we are finally starting to see light.

Hope that you all are well....

Peachy- I might be in your area next month... DH may have a business trip up there and asked if we'd come. I want to take dd to the aquarium.

Cat-Tysen is a cutie. Isn't it funny how they can be born with alot of hair and then lose it? Josh is getting a bald spot in back-it's kind of funny.

Bri- I'm glad that Jayden is getting better with the night feeds and sleeping. We have had a little set back the past two days, but Josh has a cold and I think that might be the problem. Sorry AF is giving you so much trouble.

Bri - My endo type pain started two days ago too. I think I was somehow ovulating b/c suddenly lots of cm (sorry tmi). I started back on bcp on yesterday. I couldn't decide whether to wait it out till after my first AF or just start so I started. I'm hoping to keep the endo somewhat under control. It really s*cks!! I'm sorry. I know I'm tired of dealing with it too and not quite sure what I would do. The laps just don't buy me much time. Oh, and the aquarium is awesome and now the World of Coke museum is next door too. Let us know if you do come our way!

Maggie - I hope Josh feels better and the sleep resumes soon. You were giving me hope We're still on the losing end of that battle.

Cat - He's adorable!! The hair is so funny! Did dd do the same? I'm sure it will be back soon!

Aiden hasn't napped in about 8 hrs now. Always throwing me for a loop! So, of course, he's super grumpy now. I tried to put him down from 5-6, finally went down at 6:30 and woke back up at 7pm with no interests in napping. Geez. It's also one of dh's late nights so I'm on my own for a while. Guess we'll do the bath at 9pm like usual and see what happens from there...

wow, peach-- 8 hours? Of course, tysen did the 30 minute nap basically ALL night. now, of course, he's been out like a light for the last hour. I'm VERY tired... Is the bcp for the endo or to keep you from having another baby?

okay, need to shower and get ready for his drs appt while he's sleeping... dd is VERY excited about going to the dr-- she wants her lollipop and sticker...

Cat- Ok, he looks very different from the first pic to yesterdays....how funny it is the way they change. He is to cute...mine is not cute to me right now. He got up at 430am, I feed him and he has been fighting his sleep since. He is now back in the swing for the second time this morning.

Peachy- I bet you that is what you are having. My U/s yesterday confirmed it for me. I have cysts all over my right ovary, and I have cysts plus fluid on my ovarian remant on the left side, and my uterus is huge looks like a grapefruit an da half. I hope that is from the recent pregnancy. I now have to wait for the doctor to call me .....

Maggie- I guess I should've been more careful about yesterday's post since today is crazy....

Cat- Tysen is just adorable!! He has gotten so big since his last pics! Cannot wait till you hear about your bill from the RE's office, that does sound fishy.

Peachy- I think your Dh took the high honors for the best story when he cut off the onesie! I still chuckle over that one. I am impressed that you have Aiden using his crib. No luck here yet. Oooooooo...you are one tough mama with getting those workers to finish the fence & tree! Way to go!! I had no idea that the World of Coke was in your city. They give tours?

Bri- Oh that is so sweet that your Ob held Jayden for so long! That is wonderful that he is sleeping through the night. I am sorry that you are in pain with your ovaries and your AF. I saw that aquarium on the Today show the other day, it looks awesome.

Maggie- I hope Josh gets to feeling better soon.

MM- I ordered those tags for the hangers for Sean's closet. Going on Ebaby today for the Miracle Blanket. Have to shop online between his naps. What is the name of the anti-gas drops that you give Reid? It starts with an M, I think. I want to get some today for Sean. Thanks!

Okay, I feel a little better knowing that Sean's restlessness is normal. I thought I was doing something wrong. He keeps fighting his sleep. He gets cranky around 6pm and cries for about an hour.

Nat
