Robin- the weekend actually has me stressed out. It's a friend's daughter's batmitzvah and we're taking the kids to the service and luncheon and then (hopefully) getting dd to take a nap and taking her to the party at night... meanwhile, we also have her dance class to go to in the am and a yard sale that we go to every year (found really great baby buys there like little tykes playhouse and dh doesn't want to miss it)... And on sunday, dd is supposed to go fishing w/ my brother (w/ her pink fishing rod that he bought her and her pink life vest) on his boat and my plan is to return all the running shoes i've bought this week and find a pair that is actuallly comfortable... (very long story on that)

what's up for your weekend?

and last night was quite possibly the roughest in a while. partially my fault because i didn't go to bed until after grey's anatomy... ty was only up twice but dd was up for about an hour and a half immediately following ty being up so i was up from 12:15-2:30... seeing as i didn't get to bed till 10:15 and ty was up for his second feeding at 5, i'm running on empty...

cat - sounds like you have a busy weekend planned...

our plans are up in the air for now... we were going to go to the Wachovia championship tomorrow, but now it looks like DP may have her IUI tomorrow. We will have to wait and see... tomorrow night we are going to our friend's house to "celebrate" closing on the house... Sunday my 1/2 sister is coming over to visit and spend some time with Alex... i guess we will be grilling burgers we need to go shopping too our fridge is totally empty and Alex needs MORE diapers...

I honestly think i buy diapers at least once a week... is alex still in size 3? they say the fit upto 28 pounds so i think i'm okay buying another bulk box at bjs but some days they look tiny on him... If Irina's iui is tomorrow will she just rest after that? What's the recommendation following an iui? (never done one of those myself)

you just resume your normal activities after the IUI no rest or anything...

We are doing fine over here. I'm still in awe of every little thing she does. We have been out a lot with all the amazing weather, we enjoyed a nice picnic last week with 4 other moms at one of the islands. Any one heard from Mirka?

I have been trying to call my daycare provider to be to set the final start date for Josh but I can't even leave a message. Who doesn't have voicemail these days. Not sure if I like that. Turns out he won't be starting till the beginning of July, so I'm happy about that. How's everyone's daycare experiences turning out?

Josh is continuing to have bad nights. It's pretty crazy, I feel like he's back to being one month old. I am totally exhausted!!!! He will now officially only sleep in his swing for any time longer than 1/2 hour. I am going to email the pedi for some advice.

As for daycare, in January i will be sharing a nanny with my nieghbour.

i think of mirka often- especially when i peek at tysen and he doesn't appear to be moving and i want to touch him ot make sure and it makes me think of mirka's husband shaking her little guy to make sure he's still breathing and waking him up...

Robin- What you're spending a boring weeknebd running around instead of some fun adventure? I thought for sure you'd be celebrating non-stop. When we finally unloaded the condo we went out to dinner all weekend to celebrate the return of money in our account.

My cousin is visiting and she won't take the hint that I'm tryi ng to catch up in messages while I have someone to entertain them so Gotta go.

Robin- How did your IUI go?

Ok ladies...I have to run something by you and see if anyone gets this. A year ago I was doing my stim cycle. My actual retrival was 05/11. Not sure if it is the anniversary of all of this or this implant in my arm, but I am getting emotional everytime I think of last year. To top it all of, I have a increased desire to have one more but dh is telling me no that we have two and it is enough. Not sure if he is concerned with his age, or with what all transpired with ds but he is pretty sure he does not want anymore. Is anyone else dealing with any of these emotions?

Just a quick note from the beach! Surviving so far. Poor Aiden is sleeping in a walk in closet... only space we could find for a crib but he did pretty good last night. Tonight will be the first night the sitter puts him to bed so we'll see how he behaves. SIL is as annoying as ever. Spent 5 mins at lunch today talking about how good pickles taste when you're pregnant which just really rubbed me wrong. Oh, and her and my brother are doing their usual deliberation of everything. I just sat next to them for a no joke 10 min conversation about whether to wake their daughter from her nap and if they wake her then what to do with her. I wish they would just flip a coin sometimes!

Anyway, Bri I am totally thinking the same as you. I've been so emotional this past week. Just crying all the time thinking about Aiden being alone and all the anniversaries of what we went through this time last year. I'm hoping it'll pass by July.... I'm really dreading my b-day b/c it was our first u/s last year and I just don't feel like celebrating at all this year.

Gotta go run and put Aiden down for a nap. Oh, he went swimming for the first time today and loved it!

Bri- i think the hormones are the culprit-- also lack of sleep causes me to be overly hormonal. I pretty much broke down at the shoe shop today (of course this was my fourth trip this week and the sales person told me there were no other running shoes in stock for me to try)

Robing- fingers are crossed! And i'll cross Ty's for you too

PEach- we have put dd in a walk-in closet numerous times- the pack and play fits well there just concentrate on happy thoughts around sil and try not to throw anything at her Enjoy your time w/ Aiden, he's doing all sorts of cute things...
