Hi everyone, hope you all had a good 4th. I wish I had every Wed off! We had a little cookout and told my grandma and the extended family that we're expecting, and everything went well and everyone was excited.
We're taking a little babymoon in August-here's the current plan: Cape Cod for 4 days, then drive down to Charlotte to check things out, stopping in DC on the way down, and VA on the way up, we think. It is going to be hot, I'm sure, but it sounds like a good adventure. Robin, thanks, I will PM you to chat about NC if you don't mind. I have to come up w/ all our questions!

Wow, Cape Cod sounds like fun! As does Kaui! Great babymoons
 We didn't do much for the fourth, just a little cookout at a friends for lunch and dinner w/ the in-laws. 3rd year in a row that we didn't see fireworks. DH isn't a big fan, but I enjoy them. maybe next year! We definately heard them from our house- very loud. I didn't fall asleep until after they were over but I can't believe I still had to get up to come to work this am They should really give us off the day AFTER the fourth. Or have the fireworks the night before, I think  Robin, can't wait to hear how your party went. Boston- did you find a frame for plan A or did you go w/ plan B? AND? Are you suffering any bruises from your mom knocking you over? I now have less than a week till my cvs test.

Hi Ladies! I hope everyone had a relaxing and fun 4th of July!
Havana - are you feeling any better with those antibiotics? Robin - how did it go yesterday? Everyone must have been so happy when they heard your news! Catherine - Are you anxious for your CVS test? Yesterday was a fun day. I found a baby picture frame that said "Love at First Sight" on it...and the sample picture in the frame was an u/s picture! The opening was sized perfectly for an u/s picture! So, I had copies of one of the u/s photos made and I put one in the frame and wrapped it up and gave it to my parents when we got to their house. My parents were so excited and my mom and sister were crying. Actually, my loony brother was bawling when he found out too. It was a good day. I also told my co-workers today...it's getting more and more difficult to hide my growing belly!

Hey Ladies!!!
I hope everyone had a great 4th!! Maybebaby - hope your day went well too!! Boston - how exciting!! I bet your family was thrilled! How fun that you can now talk openly with both your family and co-workers! We're all happy for you! Robin - we're all dying to know how it went yesterday!! Cat - how are you feeling?? 1 week until your test! How long will it take to get the results?? Chicago always has its fireworks celebration on the 3rd and I think its such a great idea. We ventured downtown with a million other people (literally) and it was perfect. Dh isn't a big fan either, but I begged since this will be our last 4th in the city. Peachy/Havana - hope you guys had a blast last night!! Havana - how are you feeling today?? You take your last antibiotic tomorrow, right? Peachy - good luck at the OB today!! We can't wait to hear how it goes!!! No puking for me in the past few days! Yeah! Hope I'm not jinxing myself! Still nauseous all the time, but my OB said to try eating sour suckers when I feel like that and they really have helped! The Flinstones vitamins have helped too.

that's great!!! i couldn't wait to hear we told our friends and they are very excited... they were very interested in the whole IVF process and we felt like we were pros at it we had great evening too... we made burgers on our brand new grill a dozen or so neighborhood kids were playing on our cu-de-sack then their parents put a firework display on... we had a blast... i am so greatfull that we live in such beautiful part of the country with great weather and have such great neighbors...

Boston - I have tears reading your post. So sweet...Congrats on telling your parents and friends! Robin - Congrats on your party - it sounds like people are interested and can learn from you - and are supportive...that's wonderful... Joy - glad to hear you are feeling better. I am battling some bad all day m/s. It's been rough and all I can do is drink Ensure. I can't even 'think' about anything food wise. We were at a picnic yesterday and I got sick. I will try the sours - what are they exactly? Cat - will be thinking about you this week as you prep for your test! We had a nice 4th with lots and lots and LOTS of kids - and family. We have triplets in our family who are 5 as well as 19 other little ones!!! It was on a horse farm. Ironically I saw 7 nests in the barn with baby birds and have a great picture of a mama bird flying in to feed her two babies... so sweet.

Good Morning, Ladies!
Sounds like everyone had a great 4th yesterday! Peachy and I had a great time. We ate LOTS of food and watched the fireworks from a highrise hotel! Maggie-Sorry for my mis-communication a couple of posts back! I was being my usual silly story telling self and said that Miami was as hot as Vietnam this time of year. Im not Vietnamese and have never been there. I just thought it seems really really hot there! (I guess from all the movies, right??) Im just a plain nothing-special white chick from the south. My DH is Cuban, hence the adopted screen name "Havana". Isnt your NT scan today?? What time? Tell us everything, all the details!! Boston-I'm so excited that everything went well! I bet the picture and frame was so adorable! So sweet that everyone was so happy and crying! I bet you are so relieved that you can actually tell people now instead of wearing baggy clothes! -Did they have ANY idea?? Could they tell after you told them? Joy-So glad that you are feeling better! I pray it lasts!! Thanks for asking about my antibiotics. They still make me feel like a zombie, but luckily today is my last day!! Robin-Your neighborhood party sounds really great! I'm sure everyone was so interested in the IVF. It really is a fascinating journey. I really cant believe we just went though all of that. If someone told me that I would have my eggs surgically removed, I would think they are crazy!! Peach-We all cant wait to hear how your first OB visit goes!! Cat-You're almost there! 1 week until your cvs test! What was for breakfast this morning? MaybeBaby-Sorry we weren't around much yesterday!! Maybebaby - good luck at the NT scan. Relax and enjoy seeing your little one move all over the place!! Havana - my mom thought I was pg back in May because I wasn't drinking any alcohol at family parties (who knew I was such a lush??) But, I kept shutting her down whenever she'd ask why I wasn't drinking. After I told them, they noticed my belly...but I had done a good job of hiding it. Hey, have any of you noticed that your belly seems bigger at certain times than others? For example, my belly seems much smaller today than it was yesterday. And it usually seems smaller in the morning and seems to get bigger as the day goes on....
