Maggie - I hope today went smooth for Josh at daycare. I take Aiden for 2 days a week too now. It's always a little sad but they take such great care of him and he's always happy when I pick him up so you do start to feel better about it. We have this which we use as our travel tub but it could easily be used as a blow up pool for the beach too.
Especially For Baby Noah's Ark Inflatable Tub - Babies 'R' Us - Babies "R" Us

Robin - Glad to hear you had a great trip! Did Alex sleep in bed with you or he got his own big boy bed?

Cat - I hope you are videotaping dd and ds togehter. They sound priceless

I'm slowly on the mend... I think. The doctors are trying to convince me to go back for a CAT scan in 2 weeks when I finish this course of antibiotics to make sure all the fluid is gone. Apparently, the radiology dept did a professional read of my chest xray yesterday and called to say my left lung was starting to collapse. Lovely! Never even knew that could happen as a side effect. Lesson learned.

Oh, and I did some retail therapy today and Bloomingdales is having a crazy sale on the baby clothes. Got some really good deals. MM would be proud!

Mirka wanted me to tell everyone that her computer is broken again. She's on an older 2nd computer and is hoping to be able to log back into the website but can't get on for the moment. So, if we don't see her posting, she is thinking of us and reading along as a guest Mirka, keep emailing me and I'll pass along the messages!

Thanks Cat and Peachy for the info! I will look into those. We are leaving in 2 weeks for the beach.

Josh did well today in daycare, just had one bout of crying. He was exhausted though, when we got home. I guess he only took one nap, which is definatley not enough for him.

I saw my RE this week and we are going to try for #2 this fall, but it seems so soon! We are thinking Oct or Nov. Normally I would wait a bit longer, but since I am in my late 30's I don't want to chance it. We have 2 frozen blasts to transfer that are of a good grade, apparently. Hopefully it works out. Anyone else thinking of trying?

Alex slept by himself... we had a king size bed at the 1st hotel we stayed at and Alex slept between us, that didn't work too well for us, he was tossing and turning all night long, so we didn't get much sleep... he did much better by himself and so did we

maggie - it's normal... lots of things are going on at the daycare... Alex still doesn't sleep much at his daycare and comes home exhausted... on a plus side, he get so tired that he sleeps through the night

good luck to you on #2 or #2 & 3 like us...

Robin - I hope you took pictures of Alex asleep in the middle of that kig bed! How cute.

Maggie - I saw the blow up pools at bru today. I wish you lots of luck with the FET! We'll keep the fingers crossed! We don't have any frosties so I think this is it for us...

Thought I would spread the word that there is a big sale at CVS again. I stocked up. Here were the prices down here:
Pampers Size 3 cruisers $8.99 for the 36 pack
Pampers Sensitive wipes 140count $4.99
Duracell AA 4pk $2.99

Plus, maybe it's just me, but I swear I get a different coupon for money back everytime I use my CVS loyalty card so today I had two $10 coupons and one $15 coupon and they let me use them all. No idea how they make any money over there!

I saw a cowboy hat at BRU today and I couldn't resist. It will be such a funny thing for farm trips. Anyways, couldn't help snapping some shots tonight after he ate his snack. And, I set up a play corner for Aiden in our kitchen so I can get some things done and keep an eye on him so took some pictures of him with the evenflo music table.

Robin-Thanks. Dh says it might kill him if we have twins. He thought one was tough enough. I think it might be nice, actually. Hope Irina and your little ones are doing well. You're right about the daycare-it was a little frantic when I picked him up and there were only 4 of them there. He slept like a log that night!

Peachy-Love the hat!! Josh loves that music table too. I will check our BRU for the pools.

Hi everyone! I'm reading your posts about daycare and feeling better about taking Emily there in August. I started back to work last week and my parents are staying with her until Aug. 1. Hopefully she gets exhausted there because her sleeping habits have gotten way worse in the past month! She keeps me up about once a week now when she had been sleeping through the night since 2 months! It's terrible. I got spoiled. Love the pictures Peachy! Sorry to hear about your health problems!!! I didn't know you were going through all that. I'll say a little prayer for you! Emily got 2 shots yesterday too and was fussy all night. Didn't go to sleep until 4 am and DH and I get up at 6. My parents said she's been fussy all day today. GREAT!

Hi everyone. Sorry to be out of touch. This has been a busy week. My brother is getting married out of state this weekend. I'm used to being so organized to travel, this is overwhelming. We are making it into a minivacation and staying a few nights at a time share. It's tough to plan for enough formula and food for them. Our whole family will be with us for the weekend so it will be nice. I'm still a little skeptical about their uncle being able to handle trhem both but i'm hopeful. Talk to you soon

the cowboy hat is so adorable peach!

robin, where'd ya post the big bed photos!

Maggie- good luck w/ number 2! I LOVE having two

gina- Ty's habits have gotten worse since i've gone back to work too. And now we let him fall asleep in our arms before laying him down but he falls alseep REALLY fast in our arms.. and he's just so darn cute to hold and cuddle... i *know* i should be letting him fall asleep in the crib though... speaking of sleep, i need to hit the hay now because my little guy had me up 4 times last night... I did tylenol for a day and a half after the last round of shots but maybe Emily is also starting to teethe too?

Thanks Cat. Yes, I think 2 would be nice. Hopefully everything will work out ok. I got a call from the RE that my TSH levels are up and I need more bloodwork and possibly meds. I don't want meds!! Urgh. I'm hoping the tests were wrong.

Gina - I was thinking the same as Cat. Maybe you have some teeth showing up any day now? I know Aiden got his shots last week (just 2) and was super fussy for the next few days. I kept thinking it was the shots but his tooth showed up 4 days later. Try some of the teething tablets and orajel and see if that helps her at all.

Cat - I rocked Aiden for as long as he would let me to! They are just too cute asleep in your arms. He'll pick when he's ready to go to sleep on his own. Till then treasure the moment!

Lynn - This is the big wedding weekend! Have a great time and take some pictures for us. I'm sure packing for two babies can keep you busy for days.

So I got some very sad news today. My doggie Cooper has cancer I'm terribly shocked. He's only 5. My other boxer got cancer but she was 9. He had this bump swell up so I took him to the vet thinking something was infected. But, when they tried to drain it thinking it was a cyst, there was almost no fluid and they did a biopsy. The vet wants us to do surgery but I need more info first. I was just too sad to talk to them about it today so the vet is going to call tomorrow with more details. DH is at work so I haven't told him yet. I just keep looking at Cooper and crying... He is literally Aiden's world. Aiden just loves to sit next to Cooper and pet him over and over and he laughs the whole time.
